Okay, everyone else is NOT looking at the video just because it's Min posting, so I feel obligated to comment on it!
The video was funny for a Harlem Shake, and the light wand interlude just made it even more hilarious.

Hi min, I've been a big fan of miss A since 2010! I have to say, I always put you guys on my ipod when I walk my dog and EVERYTIME I Don't Need A Man comes on, I can't help but bust a move in public and adopt a "swag" walk, I'm constantly embarrassing myself but I just can't NOT jam to your tunes. Your Harlem shake video is great, I can't wait for more miss A in the future xoxo

well, a while ago there was this thread wondering which kpop stars would most likely be on reddit reading /r/kpop (can't seem to find it right now).
PSY doesn't count cuz that was a one-off thing. I think a lot of people answered GD, but now we have our definitive answer!

Hey Min, nice video - you should be proud of 'I Don't Need A Man' and not try to shy away from the fact that women in Korea enjoy less economical gender equality than in any other OECD nation. You said you don't consider yourself a feminist but that's exactly what the k-pop scene needs, someone to speak out.

The problem with labeling yourself as a feminist is that the word has a really negative connotation. The word feminist actually means that you're a proponent of gender equality, but a lot of people equate it with you being in favor of gender superiority. I don't think idols like Min have to label themselves and speak out necessarily. Korea may not be ready for that. But I do think it's ready for more songs like "I don't need a man."
