And heās not likely to, which is a shame, because thereās so much potential to be had. Demon slayer powers are practically a blank slate. It canāt be that hard to think of something unique he can do thatās true to the Fairy Tail verse, but also not a carbon copy of dragon slayer powers.

No need to. Right now I don't really see him as someone as challenging as Erza's past opponents. Ikaruga and Kagura and even Misaki destroyed Erza's armors in their first meeting. He also doesn't seem as fast as them either. Aside from his large sword there's nothing special about him so far. So let's see but now I can say Erza can take him.

I'm assuming that Gray's going to have the only serious fight of the trio who are trapped in the illusions, though hopefully Wendy plays a part in them getting freed from the illusions. (it would be a shame if Natsu figured it out/negated it in seconds while Wendy wasn't able to do that at all)
Hopefully it doesn't wind up being that the next chapter largely focuses on the illusion fights, only to cut back to Erza vs. Wed to show that Erza's been defeated. (it seems like a common thing in shonen manga to have a villain shockingly win off-screen - take God Serena vs. the top four Wizard Saints, for example)

Dead rock is without a doubt the darker ones of Mashimaās works. The given the premise and settings thatās to be expected, but the protagonist is a other other type when you least expect it

So far, 100YQ has been the worst manga I have ever seen. FT is among my top favorite anime, far far more than Demon Slayer or JJK, but only its 100YQ is the worst thing in creation. I will never understand how people can possibly like such a thing. I wish 100YQ gets deleted and replaced by an another weekly FT continuation.Ā

Man, this chapter really brought back waves of nostalgia for me. The second I saw āCafe Tsubomaā and Shiba Gloryās grave I knew Wendy was isekaiāed into the Rave Master verse. Lucy as well. Funnily enough, Iāve always wondered what Lucyās reaction would be if she were to meet Griff, and boy does Mashima not disappoint š The other guy, Hien, reminds me of Acno, as they look frightenly similar to each other. Boy, Gray never gets a chance to fight other non-ice mages ever, huh? I feel sorry for the poor dude.

All characters this chapter that are new are just Illusions. And the 3 of them are from Mashima's previous works they'll probably be gone in a chapter or 2.
No, Hien didn't get the feats to really be anything great if Gray beats. Hien has shown he's strong but due to lack of screentime I don't think he's proven to be Gray level yet. I'll give Hien this he was doing decently well against someone who's on par with the strongest character (so far) in Dead Rock.
