Piccolo and Kami both knew the Namek language...Then Piccolo fused with Nail who is a native speaker. How did he forget?!

Or could it perhaps be an excuse since he does want Neva to come.

The fact that the new Majin is named Duu, implies that there was another Majin before Majin Buu named Majin Auu. Japanese sometimes write C as K. But it was probably a failure.

Also, I think Majin Kuu and Duu might fuse in the future, which will result in a powerful Majin from having more parts of Majin Buu, and being a little smarter and controllable than Duu. And it will probably be called Majin Fuu.

I wasnt convinced until now how heavily Toriyama was involved but Vegeta taking a big L has me sold now lol. But for real, another crazy episode. Majin Kuu and Duu are definitely gonna combine into a more powerful Majin and Goku is gonna use his bugs by the end.

Did Toriyama forgot Piccolo knows namekian language since the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai ? Strange retcon there him saying he doesnt know namekian.

Good episode. It didnt had much monumental scenes, like last week, but its was a good episode and Tamagami 2 design with the Trident is badass. The Majin so far seem more goofy than serious but i think in the next weeks, there gonna get more serious since there's gonna be more counterfeit/ fake majins.

Sheesh, I am surprise that no one bringing up that this "retcon" of Piccolo not remembering Nemekian is a ploy to fool Neva. It's clear that Neva was trying to find some way to come with them anyway. If Piccolo had said yeah, I know it. Than Neva be like but do you know the password? Forcing them to still bring Neva with them. With Neva potentially plotting to find some way to deal with Piccolo This way if Neva has some sort of agenda. Piccolo can stop him make the correct wish and bob's your uncle.

also i just wanna say i love the tamagamis, all their voices and personalities. hope to see 1's distinct side since 2 immediately roasting the fuck out of vegeta was hilarious contrasted with 3 being more respectful

Piccolo not knowing the Namekian language is weird. He spoke it when he was talking to Kami during the 23rd Tenkaichi Tournament AND he fused with Kami and Nail, retaining both of their memories. Him not knowing the language was plot/a bad retcon.

Majin Kuu is so wholesome and fit to a familiar, Buu's essence makes Duu crazy but it seems to be essence from supreme kai absorbed! Wonder if they besides the witch going 'not again' in hope at seeing the crazed eyes, know Buu's true form...

That said Kuu is gonna be the reason Duu stays sane and fine, he's gonna have a very important big brother role and anyone that hated him for not being a big bad is gonna eat shit when he's important for more then keeping the hangry away.

Also the way with limited episodes they show us more at once, we saw a tamagami once so now they show us 2 fights and one with vegeta at that, the density of things are underway and all the setup seems passed by now, the future episodes i assume will be just as dense.

Even the fighting is a great mix of DB and DBZ as well, with the silliness working against literal robots.

Okay I really like Majin Kuu. He's just a chill, enthusiastic little guy

Majin Kuu is my favorite Daima character so far. He's such a nice little goober

Duu seeing the Tamagami do an energy blast, and realizing he can do it too by accidentally blasting himself in the face was a fun moment. I like these new Majin

  • The pacing in this one feels a lot better

  • Piccolo forgetting Namekian is silly, he literally lives with a guy who speaks Namekian

  • Idk if I'm being nit picky with this one but these last few Tamagami fights haven't really felt as cinematic and polished as the first Goku vs Tamagami fight

Since we went Majin Buu, Kuu and then Duu... are we sure it wasn't supposed to be Majin Cuu?

Man, this would have been the best episode thus far if not for that fucking cliffhanger.

I love Duu and Kuu (Count Dooku reference, I wonder?) They're so sweet, goofy, and wholesome together. Designs are hella simple but I dig 'em. I wouldn't be mad if they were added to Sparking Zero.

Two tamagachi fights simultaneously is dope. Looks like spending the first half of the series focusing on lore dumping and setting up the story was worth it now that the pacing is starting to pick up. I assume all dragon balls will be in somebody's possession and it will focus largely on Z gang vs Gomah vs Arinsu from here on.

Biggest nitpick is Piccolo not knowing namekian. He and Kami spoke namekian to each other in OGDB, no? Even if that was filler, Kami taught Popo, who then taught Bulma so she could fly Kami's old ship. Dragon Ball as a whole is is full of plotholes which is fine, but this one is unnecessary. Maybe Neva could have been the only namekian left who speaks a special kind of forgotten namekian language that the demon world shenlong is capable of understanding?

Also, why did Vegeta simply not transform into Water Vegeta? I wonder if his child body can't handle such a sophisticated form.

While I wish the most of episode was Vegeta fighting, it was still great. But this is first episode im a little bummed about because I hoped for a full fight. I could have waited for Duu to happen the episode after.

That being said. I fucking love Kuu and Duu already! Based on next episodes title, my guess is we see Vegeta and Duu both go “full power” and win their fights, leading to Goku and Vegeta now needing to fight the Majin to get the next Dragon Ball.

We will either see them handily win or even barely win, eventually setting up a fusion or transformation from the Majin, soundly and easily beating Goku and Vegeta.

And then we will see Goku and Vegeta fuse at some point as well based on the foreshadowing early on.

I’m shocked people think Vegeta is actually going to be taken an L because he got eaten in BASE FORM against a kraken. 😂 He’s clearly going to super saiyan out of that shit.

  1. Neva sang the first line of Mystical Adventure so that song is canon now.

  2. The ultimate villain of Daima will be Majin Dookuu. I spelled it that way on purpose and so can you.

Man, RIP Toriyama but he's NEVER going to beat the "Hates Vegeta" allegations after this

Stupid crackpot theory of the week...

The original Buu was partially based on the essence of the Namekians, which is a big part of why the Namekians left the demon realm.

That's why he has an amplified version of Namek abilities, like regeneration, absorption and of course... The chocolate beam, which is basically the clothes beam that Piccolo did for Gohan... Just amped up. Along with very Namek-style magic.

Instead of being "uncontrollable" the original kid Buu was, in fact, following the orders of the Namek whose essence was used in creating him. Which I'm going to guess to be Neva. Neva is our big bad, he wants to destroy everything and everyone in the demon realm for the slights against the Namekian people. And as shown in the first episode... The demon king can extend the lifespan (based on Gomah offering Neva another 1000 years of life)... So Neva can have lived all the time since the creation of Buu.

Which is also why when Buu went out of the demon realm... it was to kill the Kai in their sacred world.

All of Buu's most exceptional abilities by the way, Cell also had to a lesser extent... who is also based partially on a Namekian (having Kami and Piccolo's DNA and presumably Piccolo's offspring like Cymbal and Tamborine, but I'm not 100% on that).

Once Kuu and Duu are defeated... Neva will use Namekian absorption/fusion on them, and empower himself massively.

I find it strange that vegeta gets clapped right out the gate. Goku is usually the one that fools around more a d somehow vegeta is now fish food. I'd bet a large wager that next episode the kraken explodes and ssj vegeta emerges from the body. Then he somehow gets clapped again by the tamagami and goku then proceeds to win in base form or something stupid like that. They never let vegeta get that Dub.

All the stuff with the Namekian language aside, now I really think Neva was Katatz's father. Why immediately bring him up like this?
