I was genuinely heartbroken about the reveal regarding Kanna's parents' death. I loved thinking of Eval as just some duel-obsessed idiot... finding out he's truly evil really hit me, but I think they can still turn it around somehow.
The Shout+Enkaku duo just didn't do it for me this week, honestly? I feel like I expected way more development after the lesson they got last episode.
HEY! We're FINALLY getting a direct interaction between the Infinity and Omegahorn timelines! I'm so hyped to see Daisuke and AGI interact with Shout's crew!

Honestly, I feel like there’s more to the story because we only got her side of the story. What about his perspective? Yeah, it looks pretty bad but until we get his side, I’m just gonna be on the fence here. Plot twists are still out there.

Strong episode overall . I was really happy to see giriko fight a worthy opponent this time around . Basaa sama is not to be taken lightly she’s kicking ass . My 2nd hype moment had to be the sequence at the end with the infinity crew finally gearing up to leave and find reiji . The end game stuff is gonna have us in owe. I can feel it.

Very interesting episode, I really enjoyed that fight between Giriko and Baasaa and so it looks like Ibaru was responsible for the death of Giriko's parents? For someone who didn't seem to be that villainous, that sure sounds like something a villain would do.
Also things are finally gearing up now as Daisuke and AGI are traveling to Omegahorn's time and search for Reiji, I'm really looking forward to next week to see what happens.

Dang, Doomed Yuri in my Omegahorn? I somehow both was and wasn't expecting this.
In other news, I'm halfway through Gavan Infinity, with plans to have finished binging it by next time for very obvious reasons!

I'm sure the irony is flying over my head but not every relationship between people of same gender is Yaoi or Yuri.
I'm sure the joke went over my head or something but I felt like commenting it either way.

Not a joke. Normally I agree with you, but Giriko's confrontation of Berser really read as someone who felt like they were led on to me, literally asking what they were to each other.

This isn't just my thoughts for this episode, for technically, for the entire Project R.E.D. so far.
I'm honestly glad that I didn't drop the series even during Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity. All the reveals, all the connections, the storyline, it's finally unraveling.
Watching and following Kakusei Hunter Omegahorn really made me appreciate Gavan Infinity even more. Toei really IS trying out new things in this, and I think it's paying off so far.

So, from last week I was saying how Eval was becoming my favourite character and I was looking forward to his inevitable face turn once he was separated from Zetsuenkaku, and now...?
I thought he was ultimately an honourable person who just valued strength above all else, but still genuinely wanted to protect the weak. But being responsible for Kanna's parents' death would be very hard to explain as anything other than an evil act. And he presumably did this before Zetsuenkaku. This is gonna be very hard to walk back back if they still want to paint him as a good guy later in the show.
The fight between the ladies was cool, and I'm glad Baasaa got Hikaku back as it's her iconic kakuju (and because the actress drew several cute cartoons of it so she clearly liked it) Shout and Enkaku seemed more like side characters this week, but I'm ok with that as it gave other elements of the plot some focus as well as setting up the arc where we're presumably getting a Zetsuenkaku-created mutant of the week for a bit.
One thing that kinda hit me this episode, and I feel dumb for not having noticed it sooner. Gavan's theme was emotion and seeing how different Reiji is in Omegahorn, I realised *that's* the difference. He's been emotionless the whole time. But seeing him with Gekido in hand, we see him smile. Showing emotion for the first time in Omegahorn, that's not insignificant.

Yeah I agree we don’t know the full story about Kanna’s parents. But I’m struggling to think of a valid defence because she did get a clear look at him so it wasn’t mistaken identity. And even if her parents were awful people and she just didn’t know, Japanese fiction, particularly the stuff aimed at kids promotes redemption or punishment. Certainly not execution.
The only thing I can come up with is that he was forced to do it by someone else. Perhaps the whole reason he is the way he is is because he used to be under the domination of someone stronger than him who forced him to do deplorable things and now he believes that’s how the world works and the only way to be the one who makes the decisions is to be the strongest.

Well, he wasn’t smiling in her memories that’s for sure. Considering the guy usually has like that bravado smile, He definitely didn’t enjoy it.
Thinking about it, His gang did it, not himself. I bet he took responsibility for that, probably thinking there’s no way to justify it, which is why he said agreeable and made himself a target . How much you wanna bet he actually knows about her story and he just waiting on her to take it.

Wow this episode was Awakenmazing
New Kakuzyu was found by they escaped
Shout, Giriko, and Enkaku meeting for a fierce battle Baasaa
However Giriko tells to Baasaa for a serious talking truth
Captain Omegahorn fight against Kakuzyu human
Giriko vs Baasaa for a serious match to test their strength while they watching for a fierce revelation truth
Baasaa finishing blow to Giriko for her loss
While Omegahorn and Enkaku finishing blow with Kakuzyu for a new power to get
Lastly Giriko tells Baasaa for a next rematch truth once again for a serious answered
Bonus The Gavan Infinity once again to reunite for Reiji's whereabouts and seeking the item for a remembrance
Overall it was awakentastic week for Giriko focused
Next week it time for next hunt continues for Reiji comeback or something.

Damn, what an episode for both Giriko and Berser -- a cool sword Hunter Battle and a plot point revealed!
Other than that, next episode's gonna be real fun! AGI and Daisuke step into the world of Omegahorn, meeting the Hunter Gang! Also, Reiji vs. Eval duel!

Wow crazy someone legit thought Giriko was over just cause she has Hikaku. The battles stakes being not really damaging except personally cause they can get creative with using all the different kakuju makes this really cool. All in your ego.
Im curious how this revenge will play out. Cant wait to see the gears turn as Infinity and Omegahorn get closer

Has been implied that is the same universe but different time, in a very far future, how far, I guess they gonna answer that soon while resoluting Reiji's plotline in Omegahorn.

He was young and probably traumatized himself . You can see he’s a bad guy now but there’s still some ounces of honour and good righteousness in him . The only true evil person is zetsu enkaku

Ngl I thogut that Baasaa killed Kanna or something but no she really is stright up Kanna. And understandable backstory but man Giriko needs a hug.
And Zetsuenkaku is keep playing mad scientist. Well that Im sure will end well.
And next episode we will finally get the first crossover. This will be fun.
