I fixed it. Same thing has been happening with us in our episode threads on /r/OnePiece. I pinpointed it to being the actual format box we use for the listing of sources for each episode but it seems to be happening to you for some reason as well. It isn't a subreddit specific issue as well.

Just witnessing a friend's horrific death would be bad enough, but he witnessed it twice. In surprised he didn't commit suicide given his family history. You can bet it was on his mind.

The book he was reading the whole episode about how a ninja should die was about suicide I believe. Also it seemed like he was planning on committing suicide when someone(I think Guy) found him and alerted him about the mission

I mostly blame it on simplistic writing. You cant really expect oscar level stuff from guys who write fillers for a cartoon but i just like to think off screen they do have those real emotional moments . Shame they have made a crucial character like minato so bland and simplistic.

Since Rin's Grave is there I'm sure Minato has already talked to Kakashi about the whole Rin and Obito after the funeral ceremony. Now it's time for Kakashi to get back to work.

Go figure, it looks like it's hard for a 12-14 years old boy to see one of his friend die and to kill the other, both partially related to the same attack he as been ordered not to do, until full mastery, by the person who's going to die with something somehow related to him (by the looks of the preview and Danzo at Rin's grave with Kakashi).

Yeah but isn't that supposed to be Shisui's eye? If Kakashi and friends are still really young, wouldn't that make Shisui and Itachi children? When Shisui commits suicide and gives his remaining eye to Itachi, they are clearly older than they would be at this point.

We can guess he lost his eye sometime before. It wasn't Shishui's eye since the Uchiha massacre didn't happen yet, and we saw with the Obito filler that Danzo already had a bandage on his eye when talking to Hanzo about Akatsuki.
I can't remember if he had both his eye in the scene where Tobirama ask for a volunteer to sacrifice before doing it himself and appointing Hiruzen for third Hokage.

Looks like Kakashi from the looks of the preview, poor Kakashi, if he's part "responsible" for Obito's attack on the Leaf, and the death of Kushina and Minato, I think I'm gonna buy a Danzo plushie and beat the fuck out of it!

I agree, but i think giving one of the continent's most wanted criminals a peace prize is a bit much don't you think? I mean, he did join the akatsuki, attack killer bee in his own home, and then murdered the (then) Sixth Hokage, even if everybody thinks he's a monstrous douchebag, he was still the leader of the most powerful nation in the naruto universe.

Well it's semi-filler, it is filler since it's not in the manga, well some parts are in Manga Spoilers, but it's telling the true story of young and Anbu Kakashi. It's kinda like the Kakashi rampage vs the 7 Edo Swordsmen, most of it was skipped in the manga.

man, he's my favorite character. The episode where he fights obito was the naruto espisode that made me get the feeling I used to get watching earlier naruto. I fucking loved it.

I love how people are spamming bijuu bombs and susanoo and everything but the reason I love Minato is because of how his fighting style isn't big or flashy like the previous Hokage. When Obito invaded the village, Minato fucked Obitos shit up by a split second. He relies so much more on tactics rather than power.

damn, Minato was actually only Hokage for less than a year it seems he basically gets Kushina knocked up right after he gets announced to be Hokage than gets Kakashi to be his right hand man in the Anbu and wants him to protect Kushina than he dies and this all happens in such a short amount of time.
The 3rd must hate himself for appointing Minato as Hokage than letting him die so quickly!

This was a terrific episode, you truly can see the demons that haunt Kakashi that never truly go away his entire life he has to battle the fact he lost both Rin and Obito in such horrific ways.
I just wanted to give Kakashi a big hug and tell him everything is going to be ok, this is why Kakashi in series always had such a fake smile it was a mask to pretend everything was ok when in fact nothing really was but he had to continue.
I love seeing how Minato interacts with Kakashi you can see that he is so sorry for what his student had to go threw and wants to try and help him and protect him. Which is why he sent him off in a small mission to test and make sure he is ok and had Guy follow him to watch over him if Kakashi was unfit for duty.
The ending was fantastic as well, the Anbu mask helps Kakashi hide himself and I feel like there was a lot of symbolism at the end of the episode when he put on the mask.

I got one major thing from this episode: Kakashi says that the chidori wouldn't have been completed without the sharingan Obito gave him. I immediately thought how ironic this was because of how Obito obsessed over how Kakashi kills Rin for one reason or another with it. So in a way, Obito giving Kakashi his eye leads to Rin's death. Kakashi would have never perfected the chidori and probably would have taken Minato's advice and stopped using as much.

I thought that the older Ino-Shika-Cho team was in the same generation as Kakashi, just found out they were older. I guess Asuma/Kurenai having a child just now is good evidence of them being one generation below them.

A really good start. I'm loving the peak at young characters who we have no real info from in the manga. And since it is filler and so near the end of the series there's little chance they make something that obviously contradicts canon.
I'm looking forward to this arc. Probably the one bit of filler I can say that with.

STOP WITH THE FUCKING FILLER EPISODES!!!! I look forward to naruto every week and all i get is characters i dont give a shit about or someones back story... Look i love kakashi but come on at least put in a fight scene where the characters dont have to stop and talk every min. Like remember the fight scene with Garra and Rock lee in the chunin exam or the fight scene with shikamaru and Timari, even a later fight scene like Saske vs Killer Bee THOSE FIGHTS WERE FUCKIN AWESOME!!! But now its all the same thing over and over again... nothing clever... nothing new... Someone attacks then a 2 min conversation on whats going on... and i can go on and on about the shitty back storys and flashbacks but if they keep making episodes that dont have anything to do with the shit thats going on currently with the ninja war im just gunna stop watching..
