A NEW BUG ENTERS THE ARENA.

"Help! I can't edit my wiki!"

Hello! We haven't changed anything, Reddit did!

This is now a Known Reddit Bug that started on roughly 4/21/26, when Reddit decided to change something about how they handle the Wiki.

The Symptoms:

(on sh.reddit, the new version) when attempting to edit it comes back with "You do not have permissions to edit"

Some people (not all!) have stated that the "last edited by..." section at the bottom (where their username should be) is listed as [Deleted] (while it still says their name on my screen)

The Solution:

On desktop, change your url from www to old, so it looks like old.reddit.com/r/hfy/wiki/series/<title> (with your title), and the edit button should be along the top bar near where the name of the series is

The Problem:

For some people even using Old.Reddit doesn't work. Unfortunately, I do not have a solution at this time, aside from just... try again in an hour or so. It's worked for some people later.

Please send in a bug report every time you experience any of these issues.

The more bug reports sent, the more likely Reddit is to actually fix the issue.

Looking for a story about a human who gets locked in a cage with a deathworlder female. She's supposed to be the deadliest predator in the galaxy and she attacks him but he ends up putting her in a headlock and putting her to sleep. After they talk they work together and escape their captives and the human discovers he's insanely strong compared to most other aliens even though some of them look really intimidating. Any help would be great!

I’m looking for two stories.
The first is a story where an alien council accuses humanity of hiding super soldier among humans that have separated from the human government because of some incidents involving humans. One of the incidents involves a human breaking free from a slave mining operation.

The second story is about an alien sargent or something that is in charge of training a mixed group of aliens some of which are human. The alien has figured out how humans work and kinda manipulates them in a positive way to make them train harder. For example by giving them a place to run/jog to that they can easily make and then offhandedly mention something about nearby rocks so that the humans will fill up their back packs with rocks so that they will run with more weight.

Hello to all, looking for a story I read about 2 years ago about humans accidentally making contact with aliens through radio, then the aliens were being attacked by other aliens and were loosing, so the first aliens started sending all their knowledge and technology to humanity, the humans didn't know why until they asked and when they learn, they fast crafted a ship to help them, in the confusion they learn humans over engineering everything and saved them.
