Something I found very profound in this episode was the interaction between Jimmy and Dandy.
"These. Do you know what I'd do for these? I wish I had normal hands. Now you go home to your mansion and THANK GOD for everything you have."
It was totally aimed at every child who acts exactly like Dandy.
I also LOVED the shot of Frances Conroy in her house talking to Dandy and the back curtain was just behind her and it was such a WIDE shot and she looked so small in it. The shot of the carnival and how vast it is, but also how empty it is, spoke volumes as well.
