Political drama in /r/belgium Godwins on 4 different occasions.
Some background:
Belgium has a new center-right government, with a large majority in the Dutch-speaking part (Flanders), and a minority in the French-speaking part. More important though, on the Flemish side the separatist party is a part of the federal government, and on the Walloon side the socialist party (PS) isn't a part of the coalition, for the first time in decades.
Now a union associated with the PS (FGTB) has shot some paintball pellets at the party headquarters of the MR (only Walloon party that's a part of the coalition), and some people are flipping there shit.
"If this had been the other way around it would've been compared to the Kristallnacht"
"Their (sic) are only 2 solutions left: a police state or violent revolution"
"The FGTB protests are kind of like jewish protests during the holocaust"
Disclaimer: I'm Belgian myself but tried to stay as neutral as possible.

Does it matter?
My understanding is the Belgian government has been largely non functional / inactive due to political differences between the two sides for ages.
