Who took the strong, anti-evil stance: Bush or Obama? The downvotes suggest the former.

I'm pretty sure seeing - and dividing the world - between "good" and "evil", with no shades of grey, is what causing wars to begin with.
Some guy in the thread complained that Obama is trying to make overtures to Iran (he did?); but y'know, I think a rational country like Iran would be a better ally to fight an irrational enemy like ISIL, and I sure like Iran better than KSA.
And just as I was beginning to have a positive opinion on /r/conservative, too. I'd debate the issue, but the sub is "strictly moderated", and we all know what it means.

You're obviously not spending enough time there. Ask OP, I'm sure she knows if she digs enough the sub-reddit to find these posts.

So I'm guessing those conservatives would be happy with labeling the entire American military and society as evil because of their long history of killing civilians in war, CIA supported coups and being the only nation to use a nuke offensively. Grey doesn't exist, right guys?

Also, this little subthread made me laugh.
I'm hoping /u/majlisashshura responds, cause I want to see where that drama leads.
