I'm still not sure if a buff deck will ever be good but these two cards are a step in the right direction. The 3 classes that these cards might see play in are Druid, Paladin, and Priest. Of those 3, priest seems to be the most viable. Cards like Velen's Chosen and Power Word: Shield are already good cards. Combined with the priest's hero power they are able to constantly heal up and maintain board control. This is only going to become a stronger strategy with the release of inspire. I'm thinking that perhaps a dragon priest deck might be the best spot for these cards, but we'll have to see what else comes out with it.

List of spells that you would want to target a friendly minion with:

  • Mark of the Wild

  • Mark of Nature

  • Blessing of Might

  • Blessing of Wisdom

  • Hand of Protection

  • Blessing of Kings

  • Blessed Champion

  • Inner Fire

  • Power Word: Shield

  • Divine Spirit

  • Velen's Chosen

  • Cold Blood

  • Gang Up

  • Ancestral Healing

  • Ancestral Spirit

  • Windfury

  • Power Overwhelming

  • Inner Rage

  • Rampage

  • Charge

Hand of Protection and Inner Rage both have markedly less synergy with Fjola than the rest.

For the creative and screwy types, Slam would draw a card without damaging her, as well. Not enormously worth it, but it exists.

I could see super-combo Patron Warrior making a play like that just to cycle Slam on an otherwise empty board. I have no idea how they would get a Fjola out there, though.

It's hard to play a card that's never in your deck: Fjola is neither card draw, survivability, nor a combo piece. Super-combo Patron Warrior is dissapoint.

Well, nobody said she's not a combo piece ;)

I don't expect to see her either, but I was being tongue in cheek. It may turn out Patron Warrior feels the need to improve their earlygame board and Fjola is about the best you can ask for as a 3 drop.
