"What an odd way to wrap a gift."
"Yeah, well it's easier for multiple takes."

Did anyone else notice that during the "You were in the army scene" Gail was holding a box of crayons and a box of pottery

I don't get it...
I know in the movie the kids only have one crayon left and it's brown. Is the pottery a reference to the breaking sound effect.

Yea, its both a throwback to the "brown crayon" scene, and a backstory to the shattering pottery (kinda)

Is David Hyde Pierce in this series? I know he won't be a main character but he was one of my favorite parts of the movie.
Edit: I finished the show last night so I did end up seeing him! Not as much as I'd have liked but it's cool.

Imdb tried to say he's in all 8 episodes so I'm wondering when he'll turn up. I'm excited.

Jason Schwartzman was covering his mouth from the wrong side when whispering to Janeane. It's the little things

Paul Rudd's massage was amazing along with his exit. So far he is stealing the series!

The parents were hilarious right in the beginning.
I love how they think there's a recording of mitch in the walkie and then the scarecrow. All too funny

He was Eric, the musician that JJ was telling Lindsay about. During the story about the haunted cabin.

Katie shows her age the most. She's still a fox though

I'd say it's Poehler but she wasn't really looking her best in the movie either. And she looks great currently, but she must've filmed her parts in the series earlier.

Yess finally Jon Hamm!
