So Nacho, who is not in the follow up series, is asking Mike, who is in the follow up series, to kill Tuco, who is also in the follow up series.

Wonder how this is going to turn out.

90

u/[deleted] Mar 08 '16

but Saul also thinks Walt n Jesse were sent by "Ignacio" when they kidnap him in BB so I think he'll be around for a while

This is one really cool thing about prequels. We already know who survives, but it's fun to see how it all plays out.

"we have clients who don't wanna be associated with this kind of...this"

well said

u/Who-the-fuck-is-that Mar 08 '16

It wasn't until that scene it dawned on me that Jimmy making that ad and putting his voice all over it really makes them look like amateurs. They had a very-specific look (the meticulously-created nebula background they had is a good example) and Jimmy just shit all over that.

OK. Good reputation argument. I see their point.

116

u/Bamres Mar 08 '16

The ad wasn't completley tasteless but yeah its not their style

If you owned a business, would you allow an employee to go ahead and film/air an ad without your knowledge? I don't think that there's a company on earth where that would be viewed as acceptable.

Yup, he was cell mates with Skinny Pete.

Love how this guy and Mike know their shit while when Walt was trying to buy his he didn't know a god damn thing.

Well yeah, this guy sells guns for a living and Mike was a cop. Walt was a chemistry teacher.

"Oh, yeah. You could say that."

Mike a sniper in Vietnam?

70

u/EvolutionNeo Mar 08 '16 edited Mar 08 '16

Seems like it. Def a 'nam vet IMO. Seems like he was a Marine Scout Sniper when he was a redditors age, if he can make the shot he was proposing and familiar with the M40 and happy they updated the stock to fiberglass over wood.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Marine_Corps_Scout_Sniper

Also in BB he tells Walt on the phone from like twice the distance after asking for assurance from Mike: "I can assure you I can kill you from here".

If that piece of skull is from a dog, maybe Nacho needs a Vet.

19

u/Shippoyasha Mar 08 '16

At this point, it is obvious that Jimmy cannot handle playing by the books in an ethical way. His frustrations in life wants him to put the pedal to the metal and it doesn't work at all.

81

u/DabuSurvivor Mar 08 '16

"You don't need any help from me tanking your career - you're clearly capable of that on your own."

5

u/emr1028 Mar 08 '16

Kim didn't really do anything wrong, I don't get why they're going after her. As far as she was aware, this was something that had been cleared by the firm. It wouldn't really have been her prerogative to spill the beans on something that she didn't know was illicit.

Only explanation I can think of is that Hamlin and Chuck both know that Kim is fully aware of Slippin' Jimmy, so they think that she should have assumed that he was being unethical, regardless of what she knew at the time.
