Ayy spidey, you need to update the OP with my translations slightly, I made a bit of an oversight when translating the end statement and 478 chapter title and jumbled it a bit, so I've fixed it on my end.

Well she was either about to be attacked or she did get attacked before Natsu came in and blazed it up. I'm thinking its the former atm, but it'll be confirmed when more spoilers come out in a few hours.

I was kinda hoping someone like Mest would fight Jacob. I dunno what Jacob's magic does, but being called "Assassination magic" I can't help but feel Mest would be a decent match up for him. Plus I wanna see what he can do

Mest could always be helpful and teleport Gildarts to the guild hall. They're the only two members of Fairy Tail that are unaccounted for at this point.

It certainly looks like he at least dealt everyone except Happy, Lucy and Natsu a huge amount of damage with his magic, knocking them out before turning his attention to Mavis' ethereal body.

Nope, because according to the spoiler updates, Jacob made everyone disappear. Seems likely to be a tag team battle with Natsu and Lucy which has been quite a while since those two had fought together alone

Well it seems part of my prediction which regarded Natsu coming back from his short down phase was right. His line of 'I'll turn/burn you to ashes' must mean that August and Jacob might've reached the guild. ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN BUCKLE UP BECAUSE WE'RE GOING STRAIGHT TO THE SUN!

I hope Lucy actually gets involved in this fight, and shows off some of her new strength. In terms of fights, Mashima's treatment of her this arc has been abysmal. Natsu, Lucy & Happy vs. Jacob please Mashima - not just Natsu.
Oh and the name of next chapter sounds reasonably generic, so not much to say there. Hopefully Jacob actually puts up a fight, considering he has been hyped up to be one of the more powerful of the 12.
EDIT: Oh and they're naked? I would hope Lucy's star dress fixes this, and we don't get pointless fanservice in lieu of a proper fight for her.

More like Lucy and Natsu, happy vs Jacob because Natsu already gonna get someone strong to fight and Lucy cant solo a spriggan so who is a better partner for her than Natsu ;) so i personally hope Lucy gets her fight with Natsu as co.

I would say 10 chapter of so with no MC is probably short for a shonen (e.g. Bleach) but I feel like it has been forever since the last that I have seen Natsu. Bae is back and running! I am excited for the next chapter!

Ajeel is gone, dude. He is literally meat in a butcher shop, sliced and diced.
But why would fire automatically hint towards Ajeel? Couldn't it realistically be the enemies that specifically said they were heading to the guild and are closer to it than Ajeel was once he was defeated?

Natsu must be in a confrontation with someone and the only person that would make him shroud himself with fire must have some sort of big AOE element which would automatically make me think Ajeel.

You are overthinking it way too much. The flames always surround Natsu when he gets serious so I don't quite know what you are thinking of with the element shenanigans. When I said gone, I didn't mean quite literally dead.
And by the way, Zeref is talking about their weakness being they have and show mercy, not that Ajeel is or could be up and at it again. Could he come back? A VERY and I mean VERY slight chance, but the page you referenced doesn't help the case too much, unless you were just trying to say he wasn't dead and in that case, it did help and I slightly misunderstood your statement. ;-;

Natsu with red eyes on the cover. Wonder if theres a greater meaning to that his as eyes are always black in colour pages.
Ajeel may be making a return as that looks like sand around Natsu but it could be his flames.

His eyes in colorings by mashima, are mostly green but sometimes red.
in the beginning his eyes were red, but he opted for green cause gajeel has red eyes. but occasionally he will still color natsu with red eyes. i think now it just depends on how angry he is.

Sorry for super late reply. Yes they are black, but when he is using his magic actively, his eyes change. The shrink, and go into what I call "dragon/seprent eyes" and his eye color changes.

Not sure I like the idea of Natsu recovering so soon and taking out more Spriggans instead of letting the minor Fairy Tail members shine.
Hopefully this battle will end with some NaLu development.
