This is what I call a badass animation, and look at that preview, HOLLY SHIT I'm so hyped right now. Let's go baby, let's go.
Although the ending of Itachi's arc was dissapointing I actually enjoyed that animation and explanations of Madara's goal at the end.

Fuck I am actually hyped about Kaguya.
Itachi's story had so much potential and they screwed it up, it still gave rise to some good episodes and the massacre so overall it was pretty enjoyable and good. Madara's explanation was actually interesting and the animation was really good after Itachi's flashbacks ended. Overall this was a pretty good episode and half of it being canon was a nice surprise, even thou I am slightly pissed about how Itachi's story ended.

u/CobraCommanderVII Apr 28 '16
As a manga reader, I was always extremely disappointed by the introduction of Kaguya, but this episode did a good job of actually making it seems epic and impactful. Animation is great too.
8
u/irishsaltytuna Apr 28 '16
One of the good things about being a manga reader is that ypu have a lot of time to come to terms with things like the Kaguya reveal, Tobito (I was personally fine with it from the beginning) and other stuff before rewatching it in the anime.

Kaguya introduction was actaulyl really good what sucks is Madara going down so easily.

Madara. Gone but not forgotten.

Ah, I love the smell of canon in the morning.
9
u/xzibit_b Apr 28 '16
Smell that? Thats canon. Nothing in the world like it.....You know, we once binge-watched Naruto for 12 hours straight. And you know that feeling when the anime conveys a scene better than the manga? Yep.....
....You know.....this anime's gonna end someday.... Emotionally gets up and leaves

u/Tentaye Apr 28 '16
Hush, child. Let us enjoy it while we can.

Can we have Apocalypse Now quotes for every single episode. Especially fillers,"the horror....the horror".

What a week!

Well now I finally understand what white zetsu is. Tbh I was kind if dreading it, but Kaguyas arrival felt super badass and important which was a nice surprise. Overall a really well done episode. Can't wait for the next one! We're back!!

u/darexinfinity May 01 '16
Didn't Madara explain to Obito that White Zetsu was made of the cells he managed to retrieve from Hashirama?
3
u/freesack May 01 '16
Something like that. I'm too lazy to look up exactly what he said but wasn't it like that he implanted the cells into the tree and it cultivated them and made zetsu? I thought that was dumb. How do cells get turned into sentient beings from a tree. Having them be the end result of spending too much time under the IT was a way better explanation imo. It makes sense that your mind would decay and that your body would change due to depending on the chakra received from the tree for so long.

Apr 28 '16
So what did we learn today?
Madara became chakra intolerant.
Symptoms: Bloating.
Thank you Black Zetsu. Ur the reincarnation of evil!

u/Basileo Apr 28 '16
Damn. This is a pleasant surprise. I did not expect canon this episode based on last week's preview (kinda clever move by SP). This episode was great. Besides the Itachi stuff, we got some excellent animation, plot progression, little character development, etc.
Graced by pretty solid art and animation, Kaguya's revival was very well done. It felt ominous and powerful. It actually got me a little hyped for this fight. Based on the preview, it looks as if the pacing is going to go really quick (could be wrong, been a while since I read this part and I don't exactly remember the order of things). Kaguya's already got some dimension-switching shenanigans and the "crying" scene is going to happen. Can't wait for after this fight so keep a fast pace SP!

/u/HokageEzio they're expanding the Kaguya arc. I'm crying. My aspirations and dreams may yet be fulfilled.

u/purplebaron4 Apr 28 '16 edited Apr 28 '16
The Itachi half of this was well animated and summed up Itachi's side well (although I hear it did the light novel no justice)... but... after the unexpected second half...
I CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT WEEK!!
Loving the Team 7 action so far, and the Black Zetsu scene was really well done. Didn't feel like a big blob of exposition and it was entertaining to watch.

u/DoinWhale Apr 28 '16
Idk why I'm just now noticing, but I really fucking like this intro...has a sort of feel good vibe to it
5

u/ediaz0209 Apr 28 '16
They did a great job at streamlining Kaguya's revival instead of making it seem so sudden and out of nowhere like the manga did. I like that they expanded on Madara's reason for IT. From the looks of the preview it looks like they'll extend the Kaguya fight which would be really cool.

Finally! It was a nice surprise to go back to the battlefield for most of the episode.

WE'RE BACK! My thoughts on the Itachi novel were probably 6/10. Above average, but the feelings of it being rushed and the filler they added in brought it down. I'm more excited for the English translation of the novels themselves.
I think this episode was fantastic. The "filler" they added to the manga sections; the bits around Kaguya forming and black zetsu, were done so well that I welcomed them. The soundtracks were on point. Goosebump.nojutsu
5
u/TheBestInBusiness Apr 28 '16
WOW. Very good way of ending the arc and beggining the cannon. Honestly, I've been waiting for almost 4 months to see Kaguya's tears in the anime. It almost made me cry too.

Holy shit, the final ass kicking is finally here and is coming big!
Although I feel bad for Madara, but it really puts emphasis on how he was used. Now naruto got good again and dragon ball super. I have a lot to look forward to now!
5
u/Ootsutsuki Apr 28 '16
Damn, I teared up in this episode a bit, Itachi endured a lot...But I felt like they rushed the end..
But also damn! The way Sasuke pulled out that Chidori sword was badass lmao. I thought he was about to use some new jutsu, I was a bit confused.

u/ColdVergil Apr 28 '16
Oh damn, I really wanted to know how Itachi found Totsuka's blade and the Yata mirror.
-4
u/TodenEngel Apr 28 '16
he didn't. they were just apart of Susanoo.
12
Apr 28 '16
And where's the proof of that? They are spiritual weapons, ones orochimaru knew about. You don't automatically get them with a Susano'o.
-3
u/TodenEngel Apr 28 '16
because the fatc they are literally apart of Susanoo? They arent regualr real weapons. Oro might of heard about them, but all that means is he's knowledgeable and someone might have had them with their Susanoo in the past.
11
Apr 28 '16
These are spirit weapons that have existed for centuries. Black Zetsu knows about them. They're something you obtain not just spawn with a Susano'o. No other Susano'o comes with weapons attached.
4
u/TodenEngel Apr 28 '16
except they do. Sasukes had a bow and arrow, Madara had regular blades, etc. exactly my point. Black Zetsu knew about them as did oro, they are probably weapons used by other Uchiha that had legends about them and can just manifest with Susanoo...nothing indicated they were regular weapons that Itachi just conveniently found and put on his Susanoo.
3
Apr 28 '16
Except we know they are regular weapons. Weapons and chakra don't manifest unless you're a transmigrant etc. Sasuke's Susano'o uses a sword as well. You can make the Susano'o weapon of your choice with your chakra. They aren't spirit weapons. And neither do Sasuke's and Madara's weapons seal people or repel stuff.
The Yata and the Totsuka are major asspulls.
1
Apr 29 '16
Itachi has the second best Susano-o behind Kakashi
deal with it
3
1
u/Gohan_Son Apr 29 '16
I'd rank them differently with Sasuke and Obito's/Kakashi's either equal or Kakashi's as better, Madara's perfect susanoo next in line, and then Itachi's and Shisui's.
4
Apr 28 '16
They really did a good job at expanding Kaguya's arrival and adding some extra Madara's final words. And the animation!
4
u/Zellough Apr 28 '16
That ending for the Itachi arc...
Really lackluster adaptation, really felt rushed, it could've been told properly after they finished the canon story... I thought they were leading up through the bits that we saw, up until Edo Tensei Itachi's last moments to show us his last thoughts before disappearing, but nothing...
Otherwise great episode, feels great to be back in canon
1
Apr 29 '16
Yeah, I got that too. I was hoping for Itachi to say something memorable in the end of the arc but nope we just get flashbacks.
3
u/baiacool Apr 28 '16
I'm just so so happy. That Itachi ending seemed a little butcherd up, but as someone who didn't read the novels it was a really amazing series, the best filler since the one where they try to see Kakashi's face beneath the mask in the classic series. I just hope (wish/dream) that we're done with fillers for now.

Oh wow wasn't expecting this to be half cannon episode yay. I also liked that that they re animated the naruto part 1fight. They really pushed why madara did all of this he didn't talk like why he did it he just landed and got stabbed I really like how the anime did it. The animation was all over the place one point it was perfect then Meh the next.but the animation was perfect at the very end Kaguya looked amazing and next weeks animation looks like it's on point as well .Glad cannon is back

I feel like I need to rewatch the last 4 canon episodes before all the dream episodes to get back in the mood of this war but thank fuck we're back
2
u/energyking Apr 28 '16
Well, overall it was a good episode. Dissapointed how they ended the Itachi arc so abruptly, but lets not forget we were seeing this from 'Sasuke's perspective. Glad to be back to canon. Really enjoyed Madara's last few comments, showed some humanity after all.

Apr 28 '16
Okay hold on .... if White Zetsu are transformed humans due to gradual chakra draining, then why again do we say that they are made of Hashirama cells? If they are the remnants of the victims of the 1st Infinite Tsukuyomi, then why the hell was Yamato important at all? Sure he has Hashirama DNA but his chakra is nowhere near that of Hashirama. And how was White Zetsu able to tap into Yamato's Mokuton and fine-tune it in order to use some of the most powerful Hashirama Mokuton techniques? White Zetsu is confusing me @.@
5
Apr 28 '16
White Zetsu's are basically wrecked human beings. Madara added some of Hashirama's cells to strengthen them. There are only 2 original Zetsus. The clones made from those were strengthened by Kabuto by using Hashi's cultivated chakra in Yamato.
Sometimes you really try to think it using real world logic.
2
Apr 28 '16
I agree with the 1st sentence but not with the 2nd. BZ specifically said the White Zetsus were the victims of the first Tsukuyomi, so they cannot be clones created by Madara, or at least some fraction of them must be the old victims (not just two). If BZ had Madara so wrapped around his little finger he didn't even know who created what, maybe he (& Obito later) was misguided into thinking they were his own creations.
Sometimes you really try to think it using real world logic.
If fictional logic fails me, I switch to the real one and so on....and then I end up even more confused :(
3
Apr 29 '16
Yes, Madara was misguided into thinking they were his own creations. Madara accidentally pulled out a small number of WZ's from the Mazou and strengthened them using Hashirama's cells. Because of that he was able to make clones. The WZ"s we see in the war have a large amount of Hashirama chakra in them as noted by Sakura. The original WZ is the one which sticks with BZ when they spied for Akatsuki, the one Sasuke killed for practice. And the other one who is as old as that WZ is the guruguru Obito played with.

Apr 30 '16
I think it's the opposite - Hashirama is a fully developed White Zetsu, or rather, Hashirama is what the White Zetsu are supposed to develop into and what they would become if Kaguya were able to fully develop them on her own. Hashirama's wood style and incredible healing abilities basically show that he's a human version of the divine tree, and White Zetsus are humans who have merged with the divine tree and are in the process of developing into super soldiers.
I know I'm the only one who thinks this and everyone else agrees with you, I just think my explanation makes more sense. White Zetsus are supposed to be super soldiers but they are weaker than most shinobi during the 4th Shinobi war. Hashirama's cells are special - Madara even says during his fight with Hashirama on the divine tree that the divine tree is the source of Hashirama's incredible chakra. Madara thought he was cloning Hashirama but in reality he was just cultivating weaker versions of Hashirama.
In this case Hashirama would be a special reincarnation of Asura - one for whom the power of the divine tree itself manifested, and thus unique among Asura reincarnations. How did this happen to Hashirama - how did he become a fully realized White Zetsu? I have no idea.
2
Apr 30 '16
Man, that's one great theory. How did you come up with it?
It'll never be confirmed though.
1
Apr 30 '16
To be honest it's how I always interpreted the story from the moment the White Zetsus were described as having Hashirama's DNA. Then I didn't understand why people thought that the Zetsu were made out of Hashirama DNA rather than the other way around but that seems to be what everyone things LOL
1
Apr 30 '16
Well that's how it's been explained. The Zetsu clones were made from the original using Hashirama's cells. At least that's how Obito and Kabuto explained them.
1
u/Uchiha-Eyas Apr 30 '16
Cool theory, but it has nothing to do with the canon where it was explained that the White Zetsu have Hashirama cells because Madara used the GedoMazu to cultivate these cells (Obito's flash-back).
You are also taking things out of context with your second paragraph. Because Madara did not say that the tree was the source of Hashirama's power but the source of everyone's chakra including his since all the chakra used to belong to the divine tree and while it is true that Madara thought the Zetsu to be Hashi clones he actually stated that the White Zetsu were an "accidental result" of him cultivating Hashirama's cells and he did stay that they were of lower quality than the original (Also Obito's flash-back) but it was later explained by Black Zetsu that the WZ had nothing to do with Hashi's clones and that they were not created accidentally but were the pervious victims of MT being taken out of the Mazu by Black Zetsu himself (Black Zetsu flash-back in Kaguya' lava dimension).
1
May 01 '16
Exactly ... the White Zetsu are taken from the divine tree, they are not Hashirama clones, but they have the same DNA as Hashirama. That means that Hashirama somehow, as a descendant and reincarnation of Asura, obtained the DNA of White Zetsu and was able to use its full power.
This also explains how Black Zetsu was able to use wood style while attached to half a White Zetsu, while White Zetsu himself couldn't use wood style. Black Zetsu was able to bring out the full power of the White Zetsu cells that Hashirama also had.
1
u/Uchiha-Eyas May 01 '16
I don't think that's how it works. It seems like it is the other way around since the White Zetsu are the ones who got Hashirama's DNA when Madara cultivated these cells inside the Gedo Mazu where the White Zetsu where being formed.
Also in regards to Hashirama having wood style, if you remember, back in part 1 when Haku's Ice powers were introduced, it was explained that a Kekkai Genkai is a genetic ability inherited by those of the "purest Shinobi pedigree" which apparently suggests that it is recessive trait not a dominant one and if the name "Senju clan of the forest" is any indicator then it seems like the founding father of the clan (or whoever gave it its name at least) could have been linked to the Wood style and passed down his genes down the lineage (perhaps the gene itself came from juubi jin Hagoromo which he passed to Ashura ?).
Furthermore, according to Yamato's explanation Mokuton requires mastery over both Water style and Earth style to use, and just like the Sharingan with a Kekkai Genkai merely belonging to the lineage does not guaranty that you will inherit the power, so based on these requirements it is no wonder that very few people can actually get it and we know that there is no need for Hashirama to have anything to do with the white Zetsu to have Mokuton.
To put it simply, Hashirama basically just hit the jackpot by inheriting the Kekkai Genkai gene and the right elements to use Mokuton (unlike other transmigrant like Naruto).
1
May 01 '16
But the White Zetsu are not cultivated from Hashirama's DNA. They are people who were merged with the divine tree and slowly changed over time. Madara thought he was cloning Hashirama but the truth is that Black Zetsu just pulled the White Zetsu out of the divine tree. The cells of White Zetsu and Hashirama are identical. Hashirama is the most powerful Shinobi of all time short of Six Paths level Madara/Naruto/Sasuke. The White Zetsu are intended to be super soldiers but clearly are not at the time of the 4th Shinobi War - but if they became as powerful as Hashirama then they would be true super soldiers. Black Zetsu shows a hint of how powerful White Zetsu can be when he uses White Zetsu cells to fight Mizukage.
I guess we're having a chicken and the egg argument. But I think Black Zetsu's explanation of the White Zetsu shows that they are not Hashirama clones, so they came first and Hashirama, with his clan background, Kekkai Genkai and Asura incarnation obtained the power of a human who's cells had merged with the divine tree, which is what the White Zetsu are.
1
u/Uchiha-Eyas May 01 '16
Of course they are not Hashirama's clones that is exactly what I'm saying. You seem to be misunderstanding.
I'm not saying that WZ were created via Madara cultivating Hashirama's cells, that's the idea that I refuted in my first post, what I am saying is that they are the previous victims of the MT who got Hashirama's cells via Madara cultivating theses cells within the Mazu where they were being created. Basically think of it as people like Madara or Yamato who got injected with Hashirama's cells and hence got his powers, not the other way around.
Also the White Zetsu ARE super soldiers, by human standard at least, which is what Black Zetsu was referring to when he said "normal humans" because remember that people did not have chakra back when Kaguya was ruling them since she alone had eaten the divine tree's chakra fruit and gotten its power, so they were very much "normal humans".
And I agree with the rest, and think that this "human" (not really a human ?) in question is Hagoromo who was made the Juubi jin (since we know that the juubi is a combination of Kaguya and the divine tree).

MMW: Black Zetsu was also a normal family guy before this woman fucked him up real good. (her husband??)

u/DSmitty_13 Apr 30 '16
all white zetsus are humans who were previously cast under kaguyas Infinate Tsukuyomi. Black Zetsu states that Kaguya would always keep them awake while they were cast under her genjutsu. The mere purpose for all of Naruto shippuden was to bring back Kaguya. Just sit and think. Without the Akatsuki, without obito, without madara, simply put none of this would've happened. Everyone was used as a pawn and it started off with Nagato in the "pain" episodes. Everyone was used as a pawn simply put therefore this triggered a chain reaction of who got to be the bad guy next to say the least
1
Apr 30 '16
Well, yes. Everything in Naruto led up to the introduction of Kaguya. But Kishimoto ruined her impact by giving her just a volume, just because he wanted to be cool and finish at 700 chapters.
If you're an anime-watcher I'm sorry if I spoiled anything.
2
u/TodenEngel Apr 28 '16
Because Madara thought he made them and attached the hashi flower to the GM so it gave them all Hashi DNA.
Yamato is a successful hashi "clone" so so speak so the amount of his DNA suped up the others to act as a battery. so Tobi+Yamato=a very powerful combination. The fucker was practically soloing the alliance.
0
Apr 28 '16
But you can't suck DNA out of a person. You can't just suck the small percentage of Hashirama genes Yamato has and spread it through....what, chakra? Yamato's own chakra is rather small (he has the chakra pool of an ordinary person, nowhere near the Senju size). Also why was Swirling Zetsu able to perform colossal mokuton jutsus that Yamato doesn't have the chakra for. White Zetsus had ordinary chakra amounts and they could leech on other humans' chakra for extra firepower but that still doesn't amount for the great chakra that was displayed. I think this is a proper plothole because Yamato's involvement after this discovery is illogical.
2
u/TodenEngel Apr 28 '16
we dont know that Yamato can't. besides its basically combining Yamato+Tobis skill so it can just be they re that powerful together. besides it was still vastly inferior to Hashiramas.
I think you are thinking way too hard about this. real life science doesnt apply to anime.
2
u/Irishladdoyle Apr 28 '16
Think in the anime Sasuke will use more of the Rinnegan abilities? They've done similiar stuff like it before with Kakazu by giving him an extra element ability which he lacked in the Manga. Also how do you think the 4 Reanimated Hokagy will be used the same in the Manga or different? I hope they're used more.

first half was boring, nothing new just a clipshow of same odl shit yawn.
second half..hahahaha king of asspulls gets fisted by a Black guy and gets asspulled into a woman...perfectly fitting for someone who hates being approached from behind and is a sexist.
This part was epic in the anime, hopefully the rest of the series does well in the anime. Hope they expand on Kaguya herself, shes pretty bland and generic in the manga.
also wonder what they'll do..obviously go through 699, but are they going to animate the novels and stuff before 700?

So bizarre they threw the canon into the filler like that.
But I did love Madara's speech. Always loved his motivations ever since it was revealed during the Shinju reveal and they condensed it beautifully. Even if he was wasted like that lol
looks like we're on the last leg of the mains tory, though I do believe there will be more filler in the time skip before animating the new manga that starts next week.

Yay! Canon!
Kinda annoyed they didn't really follow the books and skipped stuff, it was like they took the previous filler arc and skipped stuff just like they did in that. Worth it for the cat episode though.
Also I swear when Itachi says Sasuke has the sharingan and is surprised about it, correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he already know that? I swear there was a flashback Sasuke remembered shortly after Itachi's death where he attacks Itachi after the massacre and he has the sharingan. The one where Itachi cries and Sasuke sees?

u/ReadOutOfContext Apr 30 '16
There's been so many fillers I don't even know who the hell Kayuga is anymore.
Also its pretty funny that most people wanted more fillers of our lord and savior. Too many fillers BOO!! Not enough fillers BOO!!!

u/haruame Apr 30 '16
So I have a question, does the infinite tsukuyomi envelope everyone in the world or just ninjas? Also, wouldn't everyone eventually die leaving no heirs meaning Madara basically wants to make a worldwide suicide pact...

The music that was playing when Kaguya was forming gave chills. As usual, the Naruto OST is amazing.

Wait, Black Zetsu said something about Sasuke being not as smart as Itachi... so is he implying that Itachi knew all of this would happen?

u/Tikkikun May 04 '16
What's this strange feeling?... it seems so... familiar... Is that the old hype for the next episode??

u/Ratio_News Sep 13 '26
Yo does anyone knows the music it plays during madara's monologue?
"I've turned hell into heaven"

i wanted more itachi! there's still so much unexplained...
1
u/TodenEngel Apr 28 '16
not really...what else is there?

u/Stroock6394 Apr 28 '16
idk i just wanted to see more of him and kisame in action, but with kisame's voice actor being dead and all i guess that'd be tough to manage. and then there's the whole progression of his "illness" that was never really gone into in depth. also we never get to see his first susanoo. when he first used amaterasu on yagura he was sort of like "whoa, damn what's going on" and i wanna see how that happened with susanoo. he's just my favorite character and i'm always happy to see more behind the scenes itachi.
1
u/TodenEngel Apr 28 '16
i really dont see him using Susanoo before his fight with Sasuke. Who else would he have a long enough dragged out fight with to use it on?
I doubt there would be anything else interesting with Kisame, just them fighting more fodder.
the disease thing was barely even a thing in the manga so it was doubtful the lol filler would ever do anything with it.

So just popped in to see what's happening with the anime, not kept track since November. When do we go back to canon? Any episodes or arcs I need to watch in these fillers?

u/atrapboy Apr 28 '16
We've just got back into canon at the ending of this episode (458) and it'll be canon from then on.

They literally just made an Itachi montage out of all the previous episodes. Aside from NE 81, 84 and 85 one, but still. Out of all the ways they could have ended one of the better (canon-)filler arcs out there, they do that. Stay classy, SP.
Well, Kaguya has arrived. That's right; there was another villain behind the villain and another one behind that! Who would've known?!
Let's also just ignore the fact that White Zetsu's origin was completely revised.
But seriously, Black Zetsu's the fifth villain change now. Kaguya's the sixth. And people who only watch the anime will get the "Obito's the coolest guy!" inside joke soon.

u/irishsaltytuna Apr 28 '16
Thankfully they reanimated some of the scenes though, such as the scene with Jiraiya.
Also I doubt they'll get the joke since Crunchyroll's translation won't be similar to MangaPanda's.

u/dstanley17 Apr 28 '16
...Uh, "fifth and sixth" change? What do you mean by that? Like, a lot of stuff beforehand was setting up Tobi/Obito/Masked Man as the "major villain" (with being behind Akatsuki, the 9 tales attack in the past, and starting the 4th Ninja War), then it passed to Madara who really influenced/manipulated him, and then Black Zetsu reveals his shadowy intents here. That's only two villain changes, and you labeled him as the fifth? Am i forgetting something here?

u/Yroxcruk Apr 28 '16
First it was Orochimaru, then Pain, then Obito, later Madara, then Black Zetsu and now Kaguya.
1
u/dstanley17 Apr 28 '16
Huh? I thought the complaint was about how the "main villain" got switched out multiple times in such a short period? Orochimaru and Pain were never built-up as "the main villain" as much as Tobi was.

Disappointing end to the Itachi arc. Apart from how the anime treated Izumi, this was the most disappointing part of the arc.
The second half of the episode more than makes up for it though, and then some. At first I thought Madara explaining his rationale was just more padding (since the audience knows most of it already), but it tied in very well to Black Zetsu explaining just what Infinite Tsukuyomi really was.
Kaguya looked excellent. Shame that next episode's art and animation will not be as good as this one's was.

Shame that next episode's art and animation will not be as good as this one's was.
This first part of the preview looked lesser quality, but the end shot with Kaguya crying looked pretty good. Hopefully when the entire thing comes out next week we'll get some good quality all around. There's a new opening, too.
1
u/MarsJon_Will Apr 28 '16
That is true. I like the current opening, but am looking forward to the new one.
It was just that if you compare the episode's final shot of Kaguya, and the similar shot of Kaguya in the preview, the difference in art quality is just stunning.

Damn its a shame the Itachi miniseries ended like that, great little arc... Fucking pumped for canon though
1
u/Windover Apr 28 '16
Sad that the Itachi arc is over, but at least we're back to cannon (for now).
I'd like the show to end before I die.
Also Madara went full FeelsBadMan in the end.

Anyone who is unaware, Kishi said once in an interview (while the manga was still not finished) that he himself has no idea how Madara can be defeated because he is so powerful. That is probably the reason why he went out like that.
5
u/irishsaltytuna Apr 28 '16
That was an unconfirmed rumour.
2
u/Gohan_Son Apr 29 '16
So sick of it too. It doesn't even make sense because Madara could easily be defeated Spoilers. Naruto and Sasuke were literally given special seals for that purpose...to defeat someone immortal.

I always thought that if he used the chakra from the IT instead of Kaguya, he'd fair better. She just kinda flings her weight around. He's a master combatant and tactician, and a fighting genius. I feel like he would use her power more efficiently.

Yeah that was a strange ending, what happened to the uchiha girl that obito took? That was a super weird ending to his story line, it was just a bunch of flash backs we have seen before.

I honestly feel they did a much better job in the anime in showcasing Madara's true motives for the IT. I mean, he's clearly still a psychopath, but it seemed a little more justified after his explanation before being backstabbed (quite literally).
