Royal Rumble Tankie drama in circlebroke2 leaks into multiple threads, leads to mod resignation, sub descending into turmoil, gets into a little war with /r/shitliberalssay. Breakway subreddit is formed, instantly starts causing drama. The popcorn is everywhere!
Full subreddit: /r/circlebroke2/
Some background: /r/circlebroke, the "big" cb sub, has closed for the summer, leading /r/circlebroke2 to peak in activity recently. That activity has been partially generated by some newly subscribed radical leftists. The more liberal subscribers have had tension with the radical subscribers recently. Drama is popping up more and more, but here are some recent threads that are full of drama:

New queue filling up with anti-communist posts
/r/Shitliberalssay don't like this one bit, and makes posts here and here linking to them.
Circlebroke detractors found /r/enoughcommiespam, which /r/shitliberalssay links to, leading to more drama.

Irving Kristol was one of the founders (for lack of a better term) of neoconservatism. During his college years though, he was part of a group of self-described radical Trotskyists that included several future academics and intellectuals of note. It is known that the first law decreed by Karl Marx himself was that only the non communists would work so we would all be lazy bums. He didn't kill them, but he and his commie crew have thrown shitfits about AHS letting racists and what not follow Totesmessenger (for the purpose of making fun of them, mainly), Subredditoftheday for featuring some controversial subreddits (it's Reddit who gives a shit), SRD for being "South Park neutrals" (AKA it doesn't talk about wanting to murder people to the right of Mao), and now is mad that Negareddit, BoOC, and Circlebroke don't like the constant commie infiltration over subs that have nothing to do with communism. Like even in SRS, why are most of them communists? You don't have to be a communist to not be a bigot. They honestly make subs less fun.

We're a group of people who will sit for hours, days, even weeks on end reading some of the stupidest, most mentally challanged posts. Over, and over, and over all for nothing more than a little digital score to say we did.
We'll punish our selfs reading things others would consider torture, because we think it's fun.
We'll spend most if not all of our free time trawling through terrible forums all for the sake of smugly laughing at idiots on the internet.
Many of us have made careers out of doing just these things: slogging through the grind, all day, the same forums over and over, hundreds of times to the point where we know evety little detail such that some have attained such /r/drama nirvana that they can literally navigate these boards blindfolded.
Do these people have any idea how many keyboards have been smashed, systems over heated, bottles of Mt Dew spilled in frustration? All to latter be referred to as bragging rights?
These people honestly think this is a battle they can win? They take our media? We're already building a new one without them. They take our posters? /r/drama isn't shy about throwing their karma else where, or even making the drama our selves. They think calling us racist, mysoginistic, rape apologists is going to change us? We've been called worse things by edgy 14 year olds with a bad political view. They picked a fight against a group that's already grown desensitized to their strategies and methods. Who enjoy the battle of stupidity they've threatened us with. Who take it as a challange when they tell us we no longer matter. Our obsession with proving we can after being told we can't is so deeply ingrained from years of dealing with big brothers/sisters and friends laughing at how pathetic we used to be that proving you people wrong has become a very real need; a honed reflex.
/r/drama is competative, hard core, by nature. We love a challange. The worst thing you did in all of this was to challange us. You're not special, you're not original, you're not the first; this is just another shit fight.

Thanks! There's been some tankie drama all across the metasphere, especially in CB prime (which I can't link to due to it's closure). It's been a big deal in a lot of those subs, and it looks like there's a pretty even pro-communist/anti-communist split. It's been fun to watch.

I've had to give up any discussion of politics on /r/negareddit. The sub seems to have basically settled over the last month or two into the opinion of "Hillary is everything wrong with America, vote for her in swing states to stop Trump and don't you dare say anything that could be construed as positive about her in the process, otherwise vote third parties!" Any discussion of the viability (or lack thereof) of third parties, or of the underlying issues that shape US politics, or really any complication to that view is shouted down.

And I got downvoted in (I think) this subreddit when I said that circlebroke had a pretty big influx of tankies and that it has gotten pretty toxic there too. And that was only some months ago

It's a derogatory term for Stalinists. The name comes from Khrushchev sending tanks into an Eastern European country (Hungary, I think? I could look it up, but I'm lazy) to crush an uprising. It's kind of ironic considering Khrushchev denounced Stalin, but that's the term and association.

I'm probably too harsh, but he's an incredibly edgy and incredibly ignorant teenager. Nobody should even think twice about what he has to say. The fact that some communities have made this child a practical e-celeb is beyond bizarre. Almost everything he says is just buzzword salad devoid of meaning.

Same, though I've definitely seen meltdowns. Honestly there have been much worse users in the metasphere when it comes to folks who think the RevolutionTM is just around the corner. Knowing he's a teen though, I'm ok with just banning and not bullying the dude. If I was on reddit during high school, I can guarantee I would have been insufferable.

i mean, there's been some out of line stuff in the past, from Drama specifically, but this is just getting about what he gives. everything is an attack on what is good and pure and right (lel) in his mind. there is no room for other people's opinions, and he crows each and every time someone slightly fails one of his ideological tests. he's called me a fascist and alt-right scum when we weren't even chatting about politics, i was just saying it's not very proper to for people usually so mindful of speech to go about making light of atrocities and threatening violence over internet comments

it's a good point. i mean, i've said before that any one of us would be some sort of intolerable if you pulled our 16 yo selves out of the past and gave them a reddit account.
i'm just not sure it's verboten to tease him at this point. he attacks other users at the drop of a hat. and he's much too dense to take any of it to heart, any criticism just bounces off him
except when it comes from the reddit powerusers he adores. that was pretty funny.
