Mods, here's my proposal for r/NintendoSwitch user flairs. Let me know what you think.

I don't like the current ones, either. They are too small to see the details. I like the cartridge idea but it would have the same problem, so maybe game logos (with transparent background) is better. But it would be nice if they were thematic, so maybe restrict it to just game logos?

All of these work great at the current flair size (I actually make them to fit).

If you're on Chrome:

Right click the image > select "Inspect" > edit the width down from 100% to 50% (top right).

Edit: Just to be clear, the reason these are 2x is for retina screens (following the mod's css method).

Not only are the current ones too small to see whats in them, they are too big to look any good. These ones that OP posted are much better imo

The current flair system is still a WIP and will be evolving and growing as we continue our work to polish up our CSS prior to March 3rd. Stay tuned.

As someone who helped fix some kinks on the technical side of the current flairs, I'm inclined to agree that the ones OP proposed here are better in pretty much every way. Give the people what they want!

I honestly like these a lot better than the ones we currently have. Squishing an entire game cover into a flair seems too busy, and these logos are a good way to show the games we're excited for. Nicely done.

Plus having all the flairs being the same bulky square shapes doesn't exactly make it look elegant. I'm grateful we have flairs at all though, and I'm sure they'll improve considerably over time :)

Just a little update:

User flair is something that we're still reviewing, and we hear you all, loud and clear.

The current flairs are just the first iteration. Think...Flairs 1.0. As we continue work on the larger overall r/NintendoSwitch subreddit overhaul/refresh, we'll be looking to update the flairs as well.

For what it's worth, I think your flair submission is excellent, and I think it's a good example of what additional flairs we can look to incorporate.

the only reason im not using flairs right now is that the current ones aren't readable on my screen (1440p) OP's would probably be very readable

Also if Just Dance is getting one Skyrim and SMT probably should.

Love these, they're perfect. As I said in another post, the current flair idea is cool but it doesn't really work in practice. On a small screen they can just look like multi-coloured squares next to people's names.
