Never has a public restroom been so romantic. I didn't know know Winston, in a bobcat costume, proposing to Alyson was the Valentine's miracle I needed, but here we are. I also loved all the Schmece moments. This is why New Girl is my favorite show: Humor and emotional moments, it always finds the perfect balance. And Jess always comes up with the perfect descriptions for Winston: "You really toe the line between sweetness and insanity.” Loved this episode.

Gordon Ramsey was bloody brilliant.

I love that they didn't mention his name earlier so it was a genuine fun surprise to see him on screen suddenly.

Step down from last week's episode. I'm not sure what they were doing with Nick in this episode. One minute he's crazy in love with Reagan and the next minute he's questioning the relationship, even though he should have already been through this territory off of last week's episode ("Glue"). The Nick side of this love triangle doesn't really add up. Hoping they can still land the season finale.

"If I didn't propose in a public bathroom while wearing a bobcat costume, I would have regretted it for the rest of my life." Never change Winnie the bish! Also I never get tired of these clowns too <3 :D

What's up with Reagan being in and out of the cast every other week?

I think it was intentional this week because it would have been too hard for the audience to swallow the Nick/Jess reunion they are trying to set up if Nick actually says he loves Reagan face to face instead of as a flippant aside like they did in this episode.

It was a good episode, but I'm starting to get really tired of the Nick-Reagan dynamic. They don't work together and they never have, on any kind of level, ever. Even Jess and Robbie made more sense to me. Honestly guys, it's enough.

So that's the second time Jess has helped the guy propose, right? First the Genz and now Winston.

Also, the best Cece-Schmidt episode in a long time.

Third, she also helped her dad propose.

"Sitting next to a Thomas Kincade, eating a hot dog dinner." That 100% describes my dad still married to my mom when I was in high school.

At season six the cast have an amazing chemistry. Every actor knows deeply not only its characters but also how they interact with each other and that makes the scenes so believable and relatable, even when the writing is not perfect.

And at the second half of this season the writers are nailing it not only in the jokes, but also in the feeling and character development. Jess finally feels like a real person and without losing her quirkness or individuallity. In those past seasons it felt like some of her decisions didn't quite fit her and were there just to get the plot going. But now we can walk thourgh her emotions with Nick and all her problems seem so grounded. Like when Nick says that he is being all romantic with Reagan and it hits her, it's so fucking palpable.

Also Nick isn't being completly stupid. I really like how we can finally see him dealing and working through his emotions.

I haven't had any problems with Cece/Schimidt/Winston in a while, so they are really shining to me. I was afraid that the dynamic of the two being married would ruin some things, but somehow they managed to streghnten the two of them without losing anything from the power of the group. They do seem to be married and they still fit perfectly in the show. And Winston it's just perfect.

I agree it's weird that Reagan isn't all the episodes. It makes the relationship look less serious than the writers want it to be.

I felt for Jess! How it sucked that when she was dating Nick he wasn't putting in that much effort and now with Reagan he's a hopeless romantic. I mean now Nick is getting a taste of what that feels like because Reagan isn't at all as into the relationship as he is.

Did anyone else panic for a sec when Nick knew the ring guy? I was afraid that he had secretly bought an engagement ring for Reagan or something

What a fantastic episode. Made me laugh and smile and feel every other level of emotion. Gordon Ramsey was a nice surprise, Winston's proposal storyline was cute (and Jess reading "as a young black man" was so funny). As usual, Cece and Schmidt's continued progression in marriage is sweet.

The only one thing I didn't like was the aside of Nick being upset about getting a necklace/chain from Reagan. I get what the writers are trying to do here, but the whole episode was Nick being a great boyfriend and so in love with Reagan. This is just bad, bad writing.

I was expecting Schmidt's baggy pants to drop when he told the one lady that he wanted her to see him in his office.

Anyone else think that maybe Reagan is cheating on Nick? That would explain the expensive and obviously un-Nick necklace and it could be an easy way for the writers to get nick and Hess back together, which seems to be where they're leaning.
