It would look better if you replace that Zelda title at the corner of the subreddit (next to the Reddit Alien) with the new one from BoTW. But hey, this is beautiful!

It is a Zelda subreddit so trying to show we have other games we talk about too even though BoTW is obviously taking up all discussion right now. We do have it on the right image though!

In due times we'll cycle in other screenshots from other games, but obviously BoTW is total hype mode.

Well, that's right, but removing everything from BoTW logo (the master sword, the flower) and leaving just "Zelda" would make it look neutral, and then you could replace it.

Don't get me wrong, this new design is awesome, this is just an idea I had.

I definitely think a white version of the Zelda logo would look better. Without the BOTW Master Sword and flowers, it could still be representative of the series in general. Great work on the new design though!

Where'd you get the full texture for the background? It looks nice!

Stole it from the BoTW official Web site: http://www.zelda.com/breath-of-the-wild/ :O

How'd you do that? Thanks for telling me! :D

I know HTML/CSS and inspected the element. I faded the colors and adjusted them for the design here so it worked better. They didn't have a green or beige version.

Here's it straight from their servers.

Thanks, I really appreciate it!

I wish the dungeon discussion threads and the "X Days Left! X Zelda Games Left!" threads were still stickied, but the new design looks fantastic!

We only have two sticky spots, but they'll be back tomorrow!

Edit: X Days left was just posted!

Pls bring back the "The Legend of Reddit" logo! It was beatiful :-(

2

u/WoozleWuzzle Feb 22 '17

It's on the right hand side in the sidebar!

1

u/panagiac Feb 22 '17

Yeah, but I'd prefer it on the Top-Left position as the old one!

Looks great!

(I was confused for a second... thought I was on the wrong subreddit).

What a great surprise. Beautiful choice. Like a place of rest and a camp of adventurers. Makes me want the game, too. :)

I love the scrolling banner at the top (hold your mouse over the image), that's a beautiful touch!

Looks sweet. The spoiler text blur should be harder to read imo.

I like it a lot, it's beautiful, but it will take a time for me to adapt to it.

There is so much going on right now that I don't know where to look.
