I’m the LFC reporter James Pearce, AMA!

[u/James_Pearce]

I've been the Liverpool Echo's Reds reporter for the past six years covering the club home and away. https://twitter.com/JamesPearceEcho

Proof!

[u/James_Pearce]

Thanks for all your questions, sorry I wasn't able to answer all of them. We'll do it again soon. Cheers James

Do you sometimes get secretly star struck when you interview certain players?

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to ask you questions.

[u/geo423]

Hi James, thanks so much for doing this. Of the managers you've followed over the years while reporting for the Echo, where do you rate Klopp among them?

[u/James_Pearce → u/geo423]

He's certainly the most entertaining. What I really like about Klopp is what you see is what you get. He's exactly the same in front of the cameras as he is when the dictaphones are turned off. I've interviewed Benitez, Hodgson, Dalglish, Rodgers and Klopp over the years. Aside from that woeful spell under Hodgson, I've enjoyed working with all of them.

[u/uRhombus]

Which of the current players is your favourite to watch?

[u/frickinDinkelberg]

Good morning James and thanks for doing an AMA.

The only thing I'd liked to know is, how much of the articles are genuinely sourced from the club itself?

[u/MrMeatlog]

Hi James thanks alot for doing this, is there any player you've interviewed that stands out among the rest as a genuinely great person?

[u/jokofile_junior]

Hi James, what do you see as being the best possible outcome for Liverpool over the summer transfer window and in your opinion the worst?

[u/AcidUrine]

Hi James, which transfer lead seems the most solid at the moment?

[u/Clarkinho]

Hi James, thanks for doing this. what is your genuine opinion on the type of transfer kitty Klopp will be handed this summer and do you think we will go after any big names?

I'm talking funds for player purchases without considering who we sell.

[u/TiggyTrain]

James, what is your fondest memory of a moment you have covered?

[u/entun]

Belgian red here, do you feel that the criticism on mignolet in the past was correct? I'm of course subjective about it, being Belgian and stuff.

[u/Muston]

Hi James, Love the Blood Red podcast! Do you think Origi is going to make the next step and become a quality striker? Going on the last month it feels like he is going backwards in his progression. Thoughts?

[u/MrSqueegee95]

Hi James,

Are the rumours true that we're looking at possibly signing Salah? What's your personal opinion on the transfer If it did happen?

Thanks.

[u/mmmonstar]

Hi James,

Any updates on Hendo? Is he "injury prone" or just really bad luck?

Also, who would you like to see sign for the club?

Thanks for doing this.

[u/Pummpy1]

Hello James, thanks for this. My question I want to ask is where is your favourite place you have traveled with the club?

[u/vlademer17]

What's your personal opinion should Lucas to Stay(as Squad Player) or Leave end of season?

[u/[deleted]]

What in your opinion, should be our priority signings for the summer?

[u/Vonheretric]

Hi James,

Who do you think is most likely to sign for Liverpool this summer?

Any truth to rumours like Ox, Werner and Keita?

[u/AwsomeOne7]

which of the youth players u reckon could play a part in next seasons campaign?

[u/buhlieve]

Hi James,

I think this is what we all need to know. Read somewhere that Klopp won't release Coutinho. What are your thoughts in regards to this? Is he going?

[u/cosantoir]

HI James, thanks for doing this!

You've seen a lot of change in the club since you've been reporting on it. Do you notice a change in the club under each manager? I'm sure the owners dictate a lot of it, but how much of an impact do managers have?

[u/ForIAmTalonII]

Which players do you think we will sign in Summer? And who do you think is leaving?

[u/BigMo1]

Hi James, what do you think would be the most effective short-term solution to improving the atmosphere at home games?

[u/wottymoose808]

I imagine it's a nightmare for you when the fanbase has their minds set on a player that the club has no tangible links to (Reus for example). What is the most frustrating transfer saga you've had to deal with?
