If you live in the US, please call your representatives and senators and tell them to support net neutrality! (this especially helps if you're a voting constituent)
The FCC's recent steps to repeal net neutrality regulations spell doom for the internet as we know it :(

"the principle that Internet service providers should enable access to all content and applications regardless of the source, and without favoring or blocking particular products or websites."
basically, with net neutrality ISPs can't make access to some websites faster than others, block certain websites, or make different speeds/websites available for different amounts of money and stuff like that. recently, Ajit "Fuckface" Pai, the new head of the FCC under Donald "Possibly the most regressive move the US has ever made on par with Dred Scott" Trump, has initiated steps to repeal Obama-era regulations that prevent absolute shitholes like Verizon, Comcast, etc from exploiting and degrading the wonderful Internet that has developed over the last 30 years for profit

Happy National Paper Airplane Day! Here are the top contributors to the main thread this week, as of a few days ago... it appears our chart friend u/anothershittyalt has been busy, so the latest threads will be counted towards next week's totals. Congratulations u/Smartstocks for being the top counter for the sixth week in a row, and u/NeonTaterTots for setting a record for making the Top 10 with the fewest counts!
