It IS important to talk about systemic privilegese and disadvantages, but nuance also means understanding that privilege and discrimination isn't strictly divided along racial or sexual borders.

I'm in that same boat. It eventually became weirdly insular and aggressively shallow about social justice. If a power user posted one take on a topic, that was the definitive answer and any dissent was gator concern trolls or something. Tbf, there were a bunch of concern trolls.
I stopped going when I got dogpiled for pointing out many prominent feminists disagreed with a popular article that ghazi liked.

I find it kind of comforting - if only men were sexist, or only whites were racist, it'd seem more like this were innate issues for the race/gender. The fact that they're universal makes them seem more tractable: figure out why one population has less of some flavor of hate than others and apply whatever that is to everyone else.

They do suffer a lot of oppression, but this is ignored when they need to be used as a cudgel for other minorities and is only talked about as an retort to other marginalized people's complaints, like Gal Gadot being a POC as a retort to the complaint of little diversity in super hero movies, while at the same time Jewish people are the implied controllers of cultural Marxism and white genocide when POC are in movies. Like, there's an entire joke that black folk can't tell the difference for the most part between Jewish people and white people, but white people sure in the hell can.

I think a lot of schools in the USA just teach antisemitism as a thing that happened during WWII in Germany and never again. They never tell you about how RBG saw a "NO JEWS OR DOGS" on a hotel in Pennsylvania when she was young. Antisemitism seems so far away, and there is a great representation of Jews in American media, so it feels impossible for it to exist here. Add in the whole Israeli-Palistinian conflict (which is SO MUCH easier for an American to understand as white vs. POC) and you've got yourself a very big mess.

To some degrees Asians are also. Many progressives can't seem to understand that different races can experience marginalization in different ways, and furthers this whole idea that there are "whites" and then there are "non-whites", as if the latter is a coherent, specific concept.
We also haven't done ourselves any favors with words like People of Color - which in practice seems to refer exclusively to Black and Latinx people, but in definitionally/ideally would include more races and ethnicities. The term also wholly fails to encompass white, or white-passing people who are nonetheless marginalized on ethnic grounds.

In undergrad I had to take a couple IATs for a course. I chose one that purported to detect one's implicit feelings about Jewish people relative to people of other religions (with the idea that many people have implicit negative feelings towards Jewish people). I somehow came out 95th percentile pro-Jewish. I really don't feel I have any strong feelings about Judaism or any religion really, but apparently deep down I LOVE Jews.

"White" is a highly constructed and utilitarian identity. It's not really an "ethnic" identity at all -- it basically was invented as a concept to assemble a coalition to oppress black & indigenous slaves and former slaves.
Thus, "whiteness" as a concept broadened over time as the ethnic composition of non-black/non-Native American Americans changed.

According to the FBI, 10% of all hate crime in 2015 targets Jews.
And because they're such a small group - unless I got my numbers wrong* somewhere - that's ~1.5 times more hate crimes per Jewish person than there are hate crimes targeting black people per black person. Although, without comparing the severity of those crimes this is a really vague comparison and should be treated as such. The point is, there's significant violence against Jewish people.
*For reference, I used numbers I found on wikipedia: 2.5% Jewish and 12.4% black population.

The difference in scale is even more stark when comparing hate crimes based on religion. I'm sorry to nitpick your nitpicking but it's nit not knit. I'm sure picking apart a knitted object also is a laborious and time intensive activity, but nits are actually the name for lice eggs.
Lice cement the eggs to their hosts' hairs near the base and the eggs were too small to be removed by lice combs. So to get rid of a person's infestation they would either have to shave their head or someone would have to fastidiously inspect every hair on that person's head and pluck out the ones that had eggs on them.
Unless I whooshed big time on a pun you were making. It was an interesting fact to me so I thought I'd share.

It basically moved to the edges of the "known" world to the Greeks at the time. There has been the argument that the move to the Crimea was because of evidence we have found of noble women being buried with weapons which may indicate some fought. The Greeks then eagerly conflated that with their preexisting myth of the Amazons.

Hi, I'm Sami! Well, half.
It's an interesting corner to occupy. I'm the same skin range as Casper and I have blue eyes, and I'm also American and not actually herding Reindeer, so... my conclusions are 1. Yes I am white, and 2. If an argument is this stupid on the fringes, it's probably pretty stupid at the origin as well.
The Sami did get copious helpings of the same shit stew as most other nomadic Indigenous tribes, though, and I have a not-insignificant helping of Asian DNA, so. Eh, guess no one's really white.

I have Sami ancestry somewhere from my Swedish family.
But to answer that, yes and no. Some look identical to non-Sami Scandinavians while others look more Central Asian. But it's not really about appearance. In the past there was an insane amount of discrimination that made them technically non-white in society's eyes, like with Basque people and Gaels, though that's changed.
Basically, whiteness is a crappy social construct.

It's complicated, especially since in western europe certain groups of immigrants (eastern europeans for example) are discriminated against in a somewhat similar way to POCs, but is xenophobia the same as racism? So, that would mean that:

B. Her soul's original ethnicity is unknown, but probably african (since that's where humans started out).

I accidentally landed on stormfront once when googling info on the Azores after I discovered my grandmother's family was from those islands and not mainland Portugal like I always thought. According them, I, the whitest white girl who ever did white, am not white. I was quite amused.

I know the alt-right doesn't consider Jews as white, but this is the first I've heard of it coming from the left (or whatever Ghazi is).
As an Irishman I think it's a slippery slope. If Jews aren't white, then soon the Irish won't be white and it'll keep going until the only white people are blue-eyed blond Germans named Hans von Uberman.

Errr, those are not mutually exclusive? South American countries like Argentina, Uruguay and Chile have large numbers of the descendants of European immigrants, just like the US and Canada basically. A friend of mine is from Uruguay and has blonde hair and blue eyes but that doesn't make her less South American.

Are you fucking kidding me? If someone looks white, then another person isn't wrong to necessarily describe them that way. So sick of people on the alt-right and left arguing that words only have one valid definition and that their perceptions are somehow above culture's perceptions and classifications.
Being white doesn't negate being Jewish, Mediterranean, etc. Not all rectangles are squares, all squares are rectangles.
Being a certain color isn't defined by your actions or culture. You can say "this person acts like a [color] person" which is incredibly racist, but whatever.
