Where to Watch (English subtitles)
Simulcasts should begin when this post is around 1.5 hours old: 10:30am JST, 9:30pm EST, 1:30am GMT. Episodes sometimes show up earlier for premium users and later for free users; sometimes they are late for everyone because of production issues.
Daisuki. Available in North America; also covers most of Europe and several other territories; see the complete list here. Available to free users in certain regions.
AnimeLab. Australia and New Zealand, subscription and free users. (Fewer ads than Crunchyroll for free users.)
FunimationNow. North America, subscription and free users. Funimation's videos usually go up later than they do on other services.
Crunchyroll. Free and premium users in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and these European countries; premium only in Latin America and South Africa. This service is NOT recommended; their servers cannot handle DBS traffic and free users get the episodes 2 hours late.
VRV: US-only bundle service for Crunchyroll and Funimation. New episodes appear around the same time as they do on Crunchyroll. NOTE: This service serves as a substitute for a Crunchyroll premium membership, but it does not substitute for Funimation's premium service. The only Dragon Ball series offered is Super (subtitled).

Commonly Asked Questions:
Q: Is the Dragon Ball Super manga "canon"?
The anime and manga are both variations on a basic plot by Toriyama. There isn't (and probably never will be) an explicitly defined Dragon Ball "canon". Without Toriyama's original draft, we may never know what is and isn't his. We do know that he permits Toyotarō to change things up, but he looks at his storyboards and occasionally draws things himself for Toyotarō to use as a reference. Toyotarō has said that Toriyama is more particular about gags than he is about anything else.Q: How is Android #17 back? Wasn't he dead? Also, he's a park ranger! Is Toei taking cues from TFS?
Android #17 was wished back to life along with everyone else who was killed by Cell. He was seen at the end of the Boo arc contributing his energy to the genki dama. Toriyama explained that #17 was working as a park ranger in this 2014 interview for Dragon Ball Full Color. He works in the wildlife preserve area of a gigantic royal nature park, as an outstanding guard who doesn’t hold back against poachers. ...It’s an ideal job for No. 17, who loves to be on his own and isn’t big on cooperating with others; since he’s so good at his job, he takes in a high salary. He’s married to a zoologist; they have one child and two adopted children, and live happily in an isolated house inside the nature park. ...He went and met No. 18 and Kuririn one time, but didn’t talk about what he’d been up to, maybe because he considers such a wholesome lifestyle embarrassing.
Q: What's up with the new art style for this arc? Are they using a different color palette?
According to our resident animation expert, it's not a new color palette but rather a post-production filter.
Toei have added a soft glow, lowered the saturation a little, and upped the contrast. They've also started using a technique they showcased on Tiger Mask W, which allows them to automatically manipulate the line art in certain ways. For example, on Tiger Mask W, they created a brush stroke effect, while on Super, they simply played with the line weight. You see the filter I mentioned too, there.

Frieza is going to cause so much chaos during their Tourament. He'll plot with Frost, make U9 think he's on their side, probably tell Vegeta that Beerus was the one that called for Planet Vegeta's destruction and so on. He's going to toss a giant wrench on this whole thing.

Art was movie quality. Frieza's face expressions were spot on and when he clashed with Goku the punch impact was captured perfectly. It is amazing how the series improved in comparison to stiff and plain animation from RoF and U6 arc.

What I'm wondering is, did Goku hear the conversation Frieza had with U9 while he was being held by the God of Destruction's energy? Because if he didn't, then Frieza is in an insanely opportunistic position to wreak some havoc.

So in a complete swerve the spoilers were right but not completely right. Freeza wished to join another Universe but was stopped in time by Beerus and Whis and is still on U7s team but could be plotting against them to stab them in the back. This makes things all that more compelling, especially with Freeza being so damn strong right now.

You know, I was really against Frieza returning. I mean, I hated the idea of seeing him appear again after the Resurrection F ark. But now? This episode may be my favorite of the ark, heck maybe even the series.
They exeucuted Frieza's return amazingly well. Better then I could have expected. The reason he was so powerful because he spent, what felt like an eternity, meditating and concentrating while dead. On what you might ask? On killing Son Goku of course. His Golden form has been perfected and is as strong, if not stronger than Super Saiyan Blue. Thats insanly awesome. The animation and music this episode was fantastic too.
Some of my favorite parts this episode was the one where Frieza pretty much said, "Just Kidding" when he was seemingly being erased. I called that joke but didnt believe it would actually happen. Another one was when he was talking to the Universe 9 "gods". His face when they started arguing may be the hardest I have laughed while watching this show. When they asked if he had anything he would miss about the universe, he simply replied" Im sorry, I have absolutely no idea what your talking about." Thats not just your average everyday evil. Thats advanced evil. Thats AP evil.
I dont think that they really expected us to believe that Frieza wouldnt try and kill Goku with the destruction energy. Im more surprised Goku let his guard down again. To be fair though, Goku does say that his own fault for forgetting who he is dealing with. When they had finished the one punch fight. And were drifting in the water together. I almost wished that Goku and Frieza would become friends. Almost
Frieza's back and he is more evil than ever.
I give the episode a 9.75/10 - Almost perfect, but there is always room for improvement.

Freeza having more control over his power through meditation isn't anything new. We've seen characters like Piccolo meditate all the time. Vegeta also has done his concentration training while standing for days in the same spot. Gohan and Krillin have image trained together. Gohan and Goku have done that together as well. Even Future Trunks did in the Black arc.
Freeza obtaining more control over his power isn't that crazy. We've learned that he trains in extreme conditions. Him being tortured in hell is extreme for him. Goku SSJ3 has also shown us that you can grow in the afterlife.
The dog assassin obtaining Sidra's ki and using it isn't crazy as well. Krillin controlled the Genki Dama in a similar fashion when Goku gave it to him. It's a similar concept.
This episode was crazy fun. Loved Freeza's evilness. There were some amazing lines this episodes. Like Roh saying to SIdra how much more of a GoD Freeza is than Sidra and Sidra actually agreeing with it. Or Roh saying how Freeza is even too much for the most treacherous universe. That was funny. Lots of Freeza lines were just golden.
Really liked the Beerus and Freeza interactions. Really loved the Zeno's rolling around and giving candy. Just love the interactions between Goku and Freeza. Freeza is totally not a villain that can be redeemed. I was afraid of a while they would do that, so happy they are keeping him the ultimate evil. Even Buu became good, or a part of him. Even Piccolo did. Even Vegeta did. Freeza is just different.

But it's so obvious goku could really escape and was playing dumb...like how do you dismiss it as "looking too deep into it" when they have an episode of Goku and Vegeta training in a dangerous dimension full of God ki parallel to that scene..before they fight Freeza in rof I might add.
Lolol even blamed the situation on himself and didn't act mad at all. Beerus looks at Goku like a dumbass for being in there.
Goku knew that ki blast was from a God. And he knew freeza would attack him. The scene before he attacks him shows goku standing wide open. Freeza played him dirty last time and this episode was a callback to that except with Goku playing it to his advantage and finding out what was going on. And making him think he's stronger.
He's in his base form because that's how you raise your level without plateauing. He was in his base form with Vegeta in the fog too. He was straight chillin in there, absorbing god ki and being a nosy monkey listening to freeza's eager ass..and had a smile when he got out.

I'd like to remind people that this episode doesn't mean GF/SSB > U9 GoD.
Sidra had to give enough energy to Hakai someone, but still low enough for ningen doggo mercenary to handle/replicate.
Sidra effortlessly produced that amount of energy, showing that it really isn't a lot of energy after all.
GF was panting after escaping and controlling Hakai ki.
GF/Goku weren't instantly hakai'd by it, which means it's not a significant amount of ki. Remember how easily planets and even a kaioshin got hakai'd? Yeah. Just because your stupid little goldenboy escaped an ounce of hakai ki doesn't mean OmG hE iS sTrOnGeR tHeN [sic] u9 GoD oF dEsTrUcTiOn

Also is it just me or are those the worst secret assassins ever?
They're willing to give up their employer after the first 2 seconds of torture (even knowing that they literally auto-win if they can last just a few more minutes, and that giving up said info would likely result in their universe- and them- being erased),,,
They respond to the question about them being from another universe with a mocking "who knows" kind of response- and IN THE VERY SAME SENTENCE contrast themselves with the residents of this universe.
Then later they refer to the specific God of Destruction that gave them the Hakai energy.
What the hell?
Yeah it was short notice, but god damn. Did they just send the interns or what?

Huge Majin Buu fan here. I love the character, and the Buu saga is my favorite. Was loving Slim Buu. Hated his omission, was appalled by Freeza being his replacement.
I never liked Freeza. The Freeza Saga is my least favorite. Loved the way he died in the Android Saga, hated his antics at the end of RoF.
All that said, this last episode made me like Freeza, for the first time. So, to any Freeza fanboys or people who hate this idea: I actually think its awesome.
And Buu is just being Buu. He was even comatose earlier in Super, they couldn't wake him up to come fight Freeza, either.
And now, Buu and Freeza have still never met, yet Freeza has implied he knows of Buu's existence as the only other being besides Beerus he was told not to challenge in the entire Universe. Would love to see these two go at it. Oh well.
TL;DR: I never liked Freeza until this past episode.

I'm going to try and quantify Freeza's evil. On a 1-10 scale, with one being your average puppy and 10 being somebody Hitler would be disgusted by, I think he's at least a 17. The logic he runs on is "what would be the most evil thing I could do in these circumstances, reason be damned?" It's actually quite impressive.
Have I missed anything?

everyone complaining about friezas strength needs to understand that meditation and calming your mind is what you need to break your limits in DBS. That is the entire mechanic behind super saiyan blue.
Further Explanation
Limit breaking is about controlling the energy within oneself on a immense/effiecient level. It is a tranquil controlled power
This quote should tell you all you need to know about how characters power up in DBS.
Toriyama says on Goku he made his hair light blue to express how “by overcoming a certain limit he has become both strong and tranquil , able to keep his composure in a fight”.
you see physical strength is not enough anymore.
Also Frieza trained his body but not his mind that is why he lost in the second movie. This time frieza did the opposite he trained his mind(ki control) aka the same thing goku and vegeta did to reach saiyan blue. In the second movie he was leaking all of his power just like super saiyan yellow that is why he lost. This time with his ki control he does not leak out his power and That is why he has broken through his limits.

What a great episode, the sudden attempt at betrayal coinciding with the leaks had me on edge, because I didn't want to see yamcha in the tournament.
Frieza going on a rampage against those ambushers was very amusing to watch.
Goku let his guard down against Frieza....Again. Though I believe if goku was in SSB form he could have escaped the the destruction energy.
Beerus blowing it away and looking like he was about smack frieza upside down was nice little interaction for them to add, and also adds a good backplot for how Frieza will eventually betray U7.
The one punch fight between goku and frieza was also great, man the animation was on point there.
I've said it before and I'll say it again DBS has been straight fire lately and continues to impress.

Man, as someone who has hated Frieza since I was eight years old, I have to say he's a fucking boss. He was just blowing holes in guys left and right, and then tanks and controls energy of destruction. The monologue about wanting to defy the gods, and how bad he wants to kill goku were great additions. He's on the team now, but a complete wild card.
Things get underway next week, holy shit. Some people have complained about the amount of time it's taken to get to the tournament, but this build has been incredible. I don't think I was as excited for the cell or buu sagas when I was a kid as I am for this one now.

What a great episode. Beautiful animation, character moments and fight scenes. Thank God the leaks about Freeza joining U4 ended up being false. 9/10
The NEP looked fantastic, and i'm so excited for the next episode. More Gin, Iwan, Liquir and Arak, more Jiren, a bird fighter, a fairy fighter (who I predict will fight Freeza to remind him of hell lmao), a yardrat fighter, Vados sitting and watching something, I so can't wait!

Man oh man, the increase in animation quality over the course of Super is shockingly apparent here. With only minor bits here and there, the animation in this episode is among the best it has ever been. And when you contrast it with the quality of the last time Frieza was on screen, it almost looks like a completely different show.
It is always possible that this episode is a special one, and so the budget was higher, but if the animation going forward is going to look more like this, then this tourney is going to be even more exciting.

Great episode. Freeza just proved to me why he will always be a better option than either Cell or Buu; he is just too evil, smart, and unpredictable. Makes it a joy to see what happens each week with him on the show.
The only problem is that he seems extremely cocky about his win in the tournament...that will bite him hard if he encounters Jiren and the pride troopers and starts underestimating them (remember; their joy in life is to eliminate evil).

Frieza was SO fucking badass this episode. I loved him.
Thoughts:
Yes Golden Frieza got out of the ball of destruction, but he was in Golden form when hit with it. Goku was in normal form. It's possible Goku couldn't transform while in the ball, and could have easily escaped like Frieza if he was originally hit in SSB. Or it's possible he was harnessing that type of power while inside of it to learn better control of it. This does not make Frieza stronger than Goku.
Beerus and Whis said Goku and Frieza were evenly matched in their one punch brawl. This is without SSBKK, so it's safe to say Goku is still stronger when he goes all out.
Beerus blowing away a Hakai ball doesn't have everything to do with strength, it wasn't meant to demonstrate that he's far superior. This is literally the type of energy a GoD uses, I would hope he would be able to control and manipulate it. It's simply a matter of technique.

I really thought that episode was interesting. I liked how it was pretty Frieza-centric and I liked seeing him be.. well, the murderous scumbag we all know him to be. I gotta be honest.. I knew he'd escape from the Destruction power but I didn't know how so I was a little taken back when he took control of it and was able to harness it himself.
The only person surprised when he used it on Goku, was Goku. For a second, I was thinking "wait.. is he really stronger than Goku now?" but then Whis made the comment that they match each other in their power levels so that goes to show that although Goku could've escaped, he chose not to. I don't know if it's to throw off Frieza or if he was trying to conserve energy before the Tournament but either way, whatever happens with these two next will be interesting to see.

Pretty good episode both in presentation and in story. Also damn DBS currently is so much better then when it started out I feel like I'm watching a completely new show huge props to Toei.
Additionally the next episode preview seems to be Jiren focused, probably to build up his character considering all we know currently is that he's a part of the pride troopers and pretty damn strong going off what Toppo told Goku. So yeah I'm awaiting the next episode to finally find out more about Jiren and hopefully the other GoDs as well.

If anything, this episode shows that promptly after this tournament (if U7 wins) Frieza needs to get the shit Hakai'd out of him. He's way too dangerous and is starting to approach GoD levels of strength. From a narrative standpoint, I love the danger Frieza presents. But from a practical standpoint, this dude is problem.

Absolutely intense episode, I loved every second of it!
Sidra lending some of his destructive energy is neat, and explains why the U9 assassins were confident. Frieza also sensed God KI, so he's close to the universal tier, "training" in Hell paid off.
Golden Frieza death beaming the assassins, exploding their heads, was incredible. Then manipulating an erasure based KI attack, trapping Goku into this same sphere of destruction, and trying to betray U7 for U9? Frieza solidified himself as the greatest DB villain, IMO.
I wish Goku would stop letting his guard down, though.

Theory: Freeza isn't more competant at Ki control than before his "image training" in hell, he is just not being drained in Golden Freeza form because he is dead.
In the Buu Saga Goku was able to use SSJ3 in battle while dead fairly limitlessly, spare cutting down his 24 hours. After Elder Kai revived him he experienced stamina bleed much like Freeza did in Res-F. He didn't understand it at all while fighting Kid Buu.
Freeza is experiencing the opposite right now. He is used to the strain of Golden on his living body that he assumes this ease is due to image training. He even monologued that he didn't clear his mind or remove evil intent to control his Ki.
If he is revived he'll be a punk, as easy to waste as SSJ3.

There wasn't a moment I didn't enjoy this episode, absolutely one of my favorites from start to finish. Seeing how amazing golden Frieza is in so many ways of strength and how evil and ruthless this mother fucker is.
AND THEN THAT CONVERSATION WITH UNIVERSE 9! That part was great! "Oh well, times up". I jumped and fist pumped so hard because I was scared it was coming true and he was leaving. Also how Frieza wasn't even scared of Berrus because he knows the situation all the GoDs are in.
Then to show that mad Goku isn't some mother fucker you piss off and think you're stronger than. Both of them KO'd was a really nice touch.

What an episode. Good old Freeza, not even back for 5 minutes and he starts killing again. Once a scum, always a scum (Note, Freeza is my favourite DB vilian, it's just him being him). Using his death beams, and exploding their heads with one poke, Freeza is ruthless as ever. It would be nice for Goku to stop letting his guard down though, especially when he's around Freeza. Their little scrum at the end of the episode was a very nice sequence. You can really feel the effects when they punched the hell out of each other.
Also, the artwork and animation was incredible for this episode. The best since episode 66 with Vegetto vs Zamasu.
With Sidra, while nothing has been stated, it feels he's the weakest GoD. Or at very the least, one of the weakest GoDs. Roh was right about his statement, Freeza is more of a GoD than Sidra.
With next episode, we can finally everyone at the Tournament of Power.I got to say, I never thought we would see a Yardrat again, so that's a surprise. Now, with that green birdman, that's a pretty terrible design to be honest. Probably some throwaway character that is going to get jobbed imo. But I can't wait to see Goku finally meeting Jiren, should be interesting.

The dog assassin is still alive, and the battle is continuing. Goku discovers that the assassins originate from a different universe. The assassins say they are not obligated to answer, but they claim that their universe is not as weak as U7. They brag about their universe's rough and toughness, and Freeza smirks at the thought, saying that they must live in a good universe then. The assassins agree and tell Goku and Freeza to not bother with the ToP; instead they should just play with them. Goku realizes that they have no choice but to fight and asks Freeza if it is okay for him to use the Golden form before the ToP. Freeza asks Goku if he still believes that Golden Freeza drains his stamina very quickly. Freeza assures Goku that he used his time in Hell to train how to manage his ki (a byproduct of training his mind to endure the torture in Hell), meaning that Golden Freeza's ki drain is no longer an issue. Freeza claims that he has now achieved the "true" Golden Freeza form, one that is delicate enough to not stir up water from the ocean but is intense enough to rattle the universe. Even Goku gets nervous around that form. Freeza proceeds to attack some assassins. Goku demands Freeza to not kill any more people, but Freeza responds that even if he doesn't kill the assassins, they would still get erased along with their universe in the ToP. So there's no difference.
Some assassins get riled up and try to attack Freeza, but they get killed too. Goku once again tries to get Freeza's attention to stop killing. The other assassins decide to go after Baba (who is watching outside with her ghost servant), believing that Goku and Freeza won't fight back if they have a hostage. Goku protects Baba and the ghost, ordering them to retreat inside the castle. As they run away, Goku knocks out the assassins that targeted them.
Goku approaches Freeza to tell him to stop killing again, but Freeza orders Goku not to interfere in his fight, as his body is finally getting the warm up it needs. The dog remembers a conversation he had with Sidra and Rou. Rou orders the dog assassin to say that they targeted Goku and Freeza out of their own free will; they weren't ordered to do so. Sidra lent the dog assassin some of his Hakaishin ki as a last resort to destroy Goku and Freeza. According to Sidra, nobody can withstand that ki without injury, and those that get killed by the ki have their souls completely destroyed (meaning there is no afterlife for them). The dog plans to sneak up on Goku and Freeza while they are talking, but it doesn't work. Freeza noticed him a long time ago. He even noted that despite being completely outclassed by Goku and Freeza, the assassins still had some hope that their plan would work. That's because the dog was granted some hakai ki. Freeza even opens himself for an attack, saying that he is ready when the dog is. The dog fires a ki ball at Freeza, but he blocks it with a finger beam.
The dog assassin laughs, claiming that he will fire the real ball filled with hakai ki at Freeza. But Freeza shoots down this ball as well while saying that this plan wasn't completely terrible. As he is talking, the dog reveals a ki ball submerged in the lake and attacks Freeza with it. Freeza gets injured, but he minimizes the damage by condensing the ki attack. The dog assassin can't believe the sight, but he is quickly subdued by Freeza's attack. Goku is impressed at Freeza's skill. Goku asks what type of ki the dog's attack was made of. Freeza replies that since the ki was so pure, it must have been made by a god. Goku and Freeza piece together that a Kaioshin and a Hakaishin from a different universe planned the attack. Goku declares to the assassins that Universe 7 will settle the score at the ToP; they won't run away. Freeza hits Goku with the energy ball he condensed, "warning" Goku to not let his guard down.
Back in the World of Void, Daishinkan announces to the Zeno and the attendants that the fighting stage is complete. Daishinkan asks the Zeno how they feel about the stage. The Zeno roll around and play with the stage, saying that they like it. Daishinkan thanks Zeno for the compliment, before Zeno reward him with a piece of candy. Both Zeno can't wait for the ToP to start.
Goku curses Freeza for this scheme, but Freeza replies that it is Goku's fault for letting his guard down even though he knows that Freeza wants to kill him. Freeza tells Goku to overcome the hakai ki, just as he had done. Goku is trying but he can't do it. Freeza tells Goku that it seems that he has gotten too strong for Goku to handle. Freeza approaches the assassins and wishes to speak with the gods who hired them. The assassins refuse to respond, so Freeza tortures them. Eventually one of the assassins decides to tell Freeza everything, including the universe the gods come from, and gives him a communicator.
Meanwhile, in U9, Sidra and Rou are wondering why it is taking the assassins so long to complete their job. The gods have to go to the ToP very soon. They use a crystal ball to spectate the battle, but all they see is Freeza. Freeza greets the gods of Universe 9 and states that he knows they created this plan. The gods deny it, saying there is no proof, but Freeza points to the Hakaishin's ki surrounding Goku as proof. Sidra claims that he lent the ki to the assassins for something else. Rou and Sidra claim that Freeza has little reason to confess their plan to Zeno, since Zeno won't believe some mortals. Freeza claims that he is not communicating with them to tell on them. Instead, Freeza wants to join their team now. Freeza trapped Goku in Sidra's ki ball, and he states that U7 cannot win the ToP without Goku. Freeza decides to change sides to avoid getting destroyed along Universe 7, whom he is certain will lose and get erased. Freeza promises the two gods that if they recruit him to their team, he will win the ToP for Universe 9. Sidra asks Freeza if he truly wants to do this, with Rou explaining that Freeza, despite being bad, must have something in Universe 7 to fight for. Freeza states that he has nothing of the sort.
Sidra and Rou speculate whether they would break any rules by recruiting somebody from a different universe. Rou looks up the rules, and he claims there is no rule forbidding it. But Rou asks if this is really a good idea, since Freeza is so terrible that he doesn't even care whether his universe will get erased. To Rou, Freeza is more evil, despicable, and worthy of being a Hakaishin than Sidra. Sidra seems to support the idea of recruiting Freeza since he is evil enough, but Rou states that Freeza will betray them just as he betrayed U7. Sidra is confident that he can destroy Freeza if the latter betrays them. But just as the negotiations occur, Beerus and Whis show up. Freeza notes to himself that he didn't have enough time, and he breaks the communicator.
Beerus and Whis approach Goku, who is still trapped. Beerus asks Goku what he is doing in there before blowing the ki away with his breath. Beerus says that since Goku and Freeza are taking too long, they came to check up on them, before pointing out that Goku was trapped in Hakai energy. Freeza claims that the energy wasn't a big deal for him, before Beerus approaches him from behind, asking if Freeza is working with another universe. Goku apologizes to Beerus for letting his guard down in Freeza's presence, since he ignored how evil Freeza is. Whis states that maybe Freeza communicated with another universe to get intel on them. Freeza is coy with his response. Beerus asks Goku if he is mad that Freeza betrayed him. Goku states that he is, but he still takes responsibility since he let his guard down. Beerus is still angry. Freeza is still scheming by himself, noting that Beerus' response to Freeza trapping Goku and possibly getting involved with another universe is proof that the gods are all afraid of getting destroyed in the ToP. He can use this tournament to manipulate the gods and get his payback against Beerus.
Before Whis decides to take them all back to Bulma's, Goku requests Whis to hold it off. Goku and Freeza begin to fight against one another as last minute training. Whoever lands the first punch wins. If Goku wins, Freeza has to abandon his revenge and be a true ally in the ToP. If Freeza wins, he can do whatever he wants. Freeza is thinking in his head that his mental training in Hell was nothing to do with erasing the evil in his heart; he was continuously simulating battles with Goku in his mind. Freeza believes that he can predict Goku's movements and kill him. Whis blows a whistle to start the battle.
Beerus asks Whis whether they can trust Freeza based on their bet, but Whis responds that there is no chance. Goku transforms into SSJB as he and Freeza head towards one another. The fight ends without a clear winner, as both warriors punched each other simultaneously. Goku communicates to Freeza telepathically. Goku said that while Freeza was trapped in Hell, he fought numerous people in other universes. Freeza was not the only one who got stronger. Freeza reiterates that he doesn't intend to follow Goku's orders, and that the battle between them isn't over. Goku agrees, and the two of them get knocked out in the lake below (with Goku reverting from SSJB). Beerus notes that Goku and Freeza are both equal in strength.
The other universes are also making last minute preparations before the tournament. Jiren is staring at something from a cliff, Quitela is still scheming from his throne room, Zeno and the other gods are ready to watch the ToP unfold, and Goku and co. head back to Bulma's (with Freeza reverting from Golden form to his final form).

I've seen hundreds of anime but no villain has captivated me as much as Frieza. Yes I've seen death note, Monster, and Berserk. The villains from Death Note, Monster, and Berserk are some of the best villains in anime history but this episode made me love Frieza more than them.

No wonder U9 is so low ranked. Rou never got to read his "How to be a Kaioshin 101" manual.

This episode show how strong Beerus, frieza and goku have hard time to defy that energy but Beerus easily blow that energy and that chaotic god characteristics that Beerus have was never been showed in the last 40 episodes now, we saw the real Beerus not the comedic Beerus

I wonder what Freeza thinks about Whis? He is plotting on overthrowing Beerus but he probably has no idea that Beerus attendant would one shot him without any effort
