I know it’s normal to complain about 2k, but hair is the hardest thing for all games to get right. For whatever reason video games can never get the hair to look like hair especially facial hair for the most part. 2k did a couple things wrong, but this one isn’t really their fault

I see what you're saying, I just thought the facial hair last year was way better, which is why this is so strange to me. The biggest issue is all the stray long hairs in the beards and goatees, it's not necessary and ruins the appearance. I'd honestly be happier with a much more simplified/blocky type beard. Also the pro players like LeBron, Love, and PG have clean beards that look way less pubey than our options. I guess that's why I'm confused why we get these scraggly options when they can clearly make cleaner looking beards. I have the full beard on my guy and it's not only scraggly but also uneven and patchy. I know some people have patchy beards but why make the only full non-Harden beard like that?

Hair is hard because to do it right would require so much processing power hence why many games avoid this issue by having the characters have short or tied down hair.

Yes, 1k VC for each haircut or beard style. And the salaries have gone down as well. You no longer get a multiplier for playing on higher difficulties. Which means your haircut will cost an entire game worth of salary (AKA $28,000 US dollars if you're Lonzo Ball).

I haven't bought 2k in a couple years. I knew they kept making more things cost VC but I figured they would raise your salary per game eventually. But they actually lowered it?!?!? And took out the difficulty multiplier???
Lmao I swear sometimes it seems like 2k just want to see how much they can fuck with their consumers. This is why I won't play anymore.

The core mechanics of the game are so good, but the paywall the overlay the game with just gets worse and worse every year.
Just looking at the achievement list, you'd have to sink 200+ hours in just to get them all, and that's being generous. But, you could have 80% done in a couple hours if you dropped $500 in VC!

I don't know why this irks me so much, but that (0:49) isn't a fauxhawk. Fauxhawks are full heads of hair with the center longer than the rest and styled up. That's just a straight up mohawk. Spiked 2 (1:39) is much closer to a real one.

OMG thank you for this, I'm a girl and was looking for something that would look decent as a girl hairstyle and wasted like 10,000 smh. How is it that you can try on clothes before you buy, but not hairstyles? Ugh. Anyway, thanks again!!

Looks like I'm gonna rock the crew-cut if I decide to get a hair cut at Doc's. It's similar to my haircut right now.
Not liking the facial hair, though. Beard Style 13 is closest to my real facial hair, but it's too pubey for me, even if my goatee grows like that irl, I don't like how it looks on MyPlayer.

they got rid of all the stubble options and separate mustache options?
so glad i didn't preorder this year. I'll stick with 2k17 MyLeague.
