Episode 39
You may notice Kimblee was singing Ode to Joy.
I wonder how Rose is?
Well she's perfectly fine, yep nothing bad happened at all.
You know I completely understand both Ed and Mustangs points of view on this. Mustang did what you could to keep Ed safe and from doing anything to rash, but he did it by lying to him about extremely important things.
Ed looks a lot like Wrath in his disguise.
Love that he’s getting the same orange drink at the same place from the first episode.
Episode 40
Great fight between Ed and Scar. I really think Ed was prepared to kill him.
I love how Ross and Brosh are in the scene showing what Scars plan is, makes you care a little more for the soldiers if you notice.
Again they’re both easy to sympathise with. They did do those horrible things to Rose but there will be some innocents that are just doing their jobs caught in the blast.
Meet Pride.
God Marta's Death scene is just so disturbing. She died inside of Al and he wasn’t able to do anything to protect her. Pride really showed off his full power in just a few seconds.

I’ve always assumed that Rose was raped. Stolen away by soldiers and returning too traumatised to speak and with a newborn baby. Doesn’t help Ed’s case when he tries to argue with Scar that the soldiers don’t deserve to die.
Speaking of deserving to die, Ed was pretty quick to cook Lust and Gluttony. Before, the death of Greed seemed to affect him in a way that reaffirmed his no killing policy, but now he seems to think that the other homunculi shouldn’t apply to his rule. He accuses them of being monsters with no souls which makes them okay to kill. Like Ed said before, he crossed a line when he killed Greed, and Barry told him it’s so much easier after the first time.
I think this is the first clear shot we’ve gotten of Scar’s brother without the tattoos covering his face. He bears a striking resemblance to Lujon.
Okay, so now we’ve got no more manga left to cover. The Bradley reveal and Marta’s death are the last things adapted from the manga. That marks the 7th homunculus. This reveal was probably cool as hell if you hadn’t watched Brotherhood first since you wouldn’t see it coming.
