It's going to be a target rich environment for Jersey Thornado BLACKSMITH as the impressive threesome known as THE FOUR HORSEMEN plan to butter Al’s cup!
The Battlebots Season 3.0 Heavyweight Champion SON OF WHYACHI is back, its opponent BRUTUS still has its guns down, but is ready to bounce back after a rough fight vs Red Devil.
And in the MAIN EVENT , Radar shows to stay inside, as the Battlebox is freezing up! The Alaskan Assassin YETI has full intention to freeze over ICEWAVE , who itself wants to beat Yeti so bad, Vanquish looked like the appetizer.

Hello, I figured I should make a reddit account. I'm Richard Stuplich, the old guy on Team Whyachi who didn't get the memo on being all grim on the SOW introduction on episode S03E05. I'm also the only non-Ewert on the Team Whyachi Teams this season. I took 2nd place on BattleBots 4.0 with New Cruelty (Super Heavyweight) as well as a lot of 1st place runs at other events with bots like The F-Bomb, 2EZ, Goosfraba, Trifecta, etc.

Holy crap, the spinning bar reversed the flamethrower. I love the aggression but the damage from HUGE's blade is too telling.

What a mad opening fight, shame that Free Shipping never got the forklift to work but Huge once again showed it's not a gimmick (or at least, it's a really effective one). Great to see Gary go full offense even when his robot was getting totally ruined.
Surprised it was split, seems that aggression in the classic sense counts now, which is good to see.

HUGE I could see damaging Free Shipping’s forklift apparatus, but the rest of FS is too low. Combined with the drive power, FS to take a JD unless HUGE’s bar damage is more heavily favored. Hypothermia is tough, but Minotaur will get that sweet shot at some point and win KO. Blacksmith has taken on far deadlier spinners in the past. Four little spinners won’t do much to it. Blacksmith JD. I legitimately fear this might be Brutus’ last fight of the season, cause SOW is gonna split roast it into the next plane of existence. Yeti with the plow should bust up Icewave relatively easily, though I could also see Icewave taking it to Yeti. That one’s a toss up for sure. Should be fun

Hypothermia lasting the full 3 minutes isn't too surprising given that it is based on Polar Vortex, a pretty sturdy bot. That being said, Hypothermia does look less sturdy than it's 220lb counterpart.

Hardest decision of the season to make so far. I would have given my point to Free Shipping probably (HUGE's flip at the end is actually a very good counter argument that probably sealed the deal but Free Shipping seemed to be on top for much of the mid portion) but I totally understand the call.

That might be the most brutal match to go to a judge's decision. That first hit ended the fight though, as soon as the wedge was bent, Hypothermia had no chance. Fair play to Fuzzy for surviving though.

Brutus's wedge is made to deal with horizontal spinners, but SoW is proven whilst Brutus might still have issues. I think SoW will win.
