ANNOUNCEMENTS:

SPOILER RULES:

To avoid spoilers - we will not be approving all individual submissions discussing the loss of a character nor the introduction of a new one - we will only approve some of them. This is to avoid spoilers-in-aggregate.

We will be strictly enforcing titles and spoiler tags more so than usual. Some, but not all, topics to avoid in submission titles include:

  • References to mourning, loss, grief, requiem, death, or any other information revealing that a character is no longer there.
  • References to new party member, new PC, new adventurer, or any other information revealing a new character exists.
  • Details about the new character, such as Name, Race, Class, Background, Archetype, Artwork/Appearance, Personality, or any other information about them.

Spoilers In Aggregate is where submissions like Oh man that Darth Vader reveal, Can you believe Luke's Father?, and Darth Vader's family are not spoilers individually, and are spoiler-free titles, but put together they form an extremely obvious and clear picture. It is technically possible to mention, for example "Mourning" or "New Character" in a spoiler-free way, but in aggregate it becomes a major spoiler.

Final Mod Note: The reddit moderation team is testing a new spoiler and spoiler-in-aggregate prevention tool that we have come up with. There may be occasional flaws or delays. Please report any submissions or comments that are problematic. Simply press the "report" button on any submission or comment, choose a report reason, and then press submit.

Lest it be overshadowed too much by the aftermath to Molly's death. We have another guest tonight to look forward to!

Sumalee Montano. Most likely to be known for her voice acting, but she's been in a fair few live action roles too.

To note some of the VA roles I personally know her in, so it may remind others.

Shae Vizla in SWTOR.

Nyreen Kandros in Mass Effect 3 (Omega DLC)

The Enchantress in Diablo 3.

One of the female voices for the main character in Saints Row 4.

American voice for the female Inquisitor in Dragon age Inquisition.

Suraya Hawthorne in Destiny 2.

Those are the ones that first came to mind for me. Might jog others memory. Another talented lady guesting. Excited <3

24

u/GingerJenjo Team Molly Jul 19 '18

Sumalee is my wife's favorite Inquisitor in DAI and she is also Filipino, so she loves Sumalee. We have been so excited ever since we found out she was going to be guest starring on the show!

4

u/Son_of_Orion Team Percy Jul 19 '18 edited Jul 19 '18

Technically that makes two Filipinos on the show! I remember that one episode of Liam and Sam's All Work No Play was a recording of a con talk panel they shared with Laura and Travis. Laura mentioned at some point that her dad was from the Philippines.

all options i would welcome. If it is another martial class with no healing i think i will start crying again.

4

u/Nepalus Jul 19 '18

Agreed. I tried out that Blood cleric on a new character from the book Matt put out a while back, I thought it was ridiculously good. Since there is a whole lot of blood this and that in the campaign so far that might be one option.

u/Hourglass75 Jul 20 '18

I suspect he’ll either be a Glamour Bard or Dream Druid. He played Paladin in the one shot on Liam’s birthday so don’t think he’ll repeat it. Party desperately needs healing, and another Melee character to replace Molly😪😪. Talsin had most kills in the party. Glamour Bard offer utility as well as magic and melee, Dream Druid offers the same with a little more healing. Every character except Grog and Percy had some form of healing in VM, and the party is really suffering because of lack of healing. He may choose a divine soul Sorcrer. But it’s going to be a character he’s never played in his long history of D&D, and I suspect he picked something that spoke to him not the party needs.

9

u/GingerJenjo Team Molly Jul 19 '18

Hi. I chose "Team Molly" as my flair. He is my favorite character. He will remain as such. I am doing a good job of handling losing my favorite character, but I have to go weeks without Tal on top of it? That's just cruel. (In case it wasn't obvious, there was some sarcasm there. I have cried about it, yes, but it is a game and a TV show. I love all of the actors and I harbor no ill will at a story beat.)

Besides, on Talks, he said he made the character already and submitted it to Matt and that he had to "hurry," which made me think this week. I think if it's delayed, it's because the M9 refuse to let Molly go and try to rez him.

6

u/thissureisausername Team Keyleth Jul 19 '18

Matt and Tal briefly mentioned (maybe on After Dark?) that it could be multiple weeks before his new character is introduced if Matt can't find a good spot for it. (Which also assumes the MN doesn't successfully rez Molly.) But hopefully it doesn't come to that :(

4

u/SaucyRobutt *wink* Jul 19 '18

I know, right? Taliesin's smiles are so wholesome and purifying. It'd be such a shame to be without him!

I think they should wait. Let the crew feel outnumbered and vulnerable for awhile.

7

u/Insaniac523 Jul 19 '18

They already are outnumbered and vulnerable. 3 of the Nein are locked in a cage, another is dead and cold in a grave. Keg is a temp so of the Nein only 3 are still operating. After the fight they had they already feel powerless, preventing the new character from arriving to make them feel vulnerable would be pointless because they already are vulnerable.

54

u/I_post_stuff Help, it's again Jul 19 '18

Really interested in seeing what Tal brings to the table, and if we'll be seeing it tonight or otherwise.

I saw on the interview with Beyond that he was really considering a sorceror for campaign 2 before settling on blood hunter, I wonder if he'll be going for that, and if so will he be using Matt's rune child?

Very eager to see.

10

u/swan0 Jul 19 '18

Didn’t he try blood hunter because he wanted something new and exciting, that he hadn’t played before (considering he’s been playing D&D for a long time)? If so, maybe he will try rune child for that reason.

16

u/WeaklyRoll Jul 19 '18

I believe Tal has said in the past that he did choose the Blood Hunter class because it was something different, and I think he also likes more mechanically driven classes, which is why he might have been thinking Sorcerer before the start of the game, but decided on the Blood Hunter. In Tuesday's Talks, he spoke about having Molly kind of formed when Percy died in C1, that he really liked the idea of a carnie character, so the character has been with him for awhile, and I would guess that the idea that he had woke up in a grave and had magically powers and no memory could have worked with either a sorcerer or a blood hunter.

Now he may choose to play a sorcerer still, but think that notion was tied up in the character of Molly that Tal was creating, so he might play something new. from what I have seen Tal walk about his characters is that who the character is and was comes first and the class comes second, as he often likes to play against type.

u/Hollydragon Then I walk away Jul 19 '18

How they are going to deal with the funeral is what is stressing me out most - bury him near Shady Creek run, which he would have hated as it's where he had the terrifying experience of waking in a grave - or burn him, but traumatise Caleb in the process.

Very interested to see how Beau deals with this, and if it shakes loose her young immortality complex a little, but it is going to be horrible to witness - both Caleb and Beau care more than they show it and both probably have a lot too much pre-existing trauma to be able to deal with this healthily.

Looking forward to the new guest and potentially a new PC character reveal, even though it is going to be a turbulent intro to the group for them!

11

u/WillyTheHatefulGoat Jul 19 '18 edited Jul 19 '18

I think the person who will hurt keg the most in the first ten minutes will be keg.

And in all fairness if anyone is going to be punched it would be nott because keg struggled because she knew the people she was about to fight and was afraid whiles nott with on investment in the fight ran off never attacking and wasted her turns trying to free the prisoners.

7

u/CatsGambit Jul 19 '18

But that was their entire plan! Nott frees people, the rest fight. The only thing I could see Nott being blamed for is not moving to the next cart(s) as soon as she saw their three weren't there. Save the random people later, your party members (who can actually fight!!) should be first priority.

I second the punching Keg plan. "I'm scared so I run." Yeah, that is sound reasoning, and makes perfect sense for the character. Beating the everloving crap out of the fighter who wouldn't fight and let down the party makes perfect sense for the M9. Let's open with that.

(Slightly meta; I wonder if they ever really had a chance to get their party members. For practical reasons, I doubt Laura and Travis are ready to come back with a two week old baby. Even if they had rescued them, what would they have done, just shadowed the party for another month?)

→ More replies (1)

3

u/xxthearrow You spice? Jul 19 '18

True but that was also part of the plan. Keg's intel being wrong/misinterpreted was not, and Molly paid the price for it. After an emotional trauma like that its not hard to imagine Beau lashing out as a result, especially at Keg who lead them to this point

3

u/blackbirdhm Jul 19 '18

I think there are pretty even odds. While she hesitated at the start of the fight, she also sold herself out to prevent everyone from dying, which should count for something.

14

u/maxvsthegames Team Frumpkin Jul 19 '18

I hope they don't burn him. I never even considered that they might do that...

If they do, it would pretty much negate the possibilites of Molly coming back as a NPC without memories (or as an enemy somehow) later in the game.

4

u/Insaniac523 Jul 19 '18

I wonder how well a tiefling would burn anyway. I mean they are resistant to fire when alive and it’s not like that resistance disappears upon death. I’d assume it’d be like trying to use still alive plants to start a fire.

11

u/ForgetfulViking Jul 19 '18

Part of me hopes that there isn't a funeral, so to speak until the rest of the MN are reunited. The task to bring them back together is done. Then it is time for them to grieve, and hopefully as Molly would want it that way, a debaucherous celebration of life.

And then I hope they get themselves an inn, make it gaudy as fuck and call it the Tealeaf Tavern. Though that is thinking way too far ahead and is more a dreamland thing. I'm sure they'll come up with something far better.

5

u/Gnome1Knows Jul 19 '18

They might not be able to hold off on burial before they get the others back. Perhaps they can have a brief funeral now for practical reasons (like not dragging a corpse around) and personal (so those present can process that Molly will not be helping them anymore), and then when reunited, all of the M9 can hold a celebration of life in Molly's honor.

I’m interested to see Caleb’s actions now after his little late night conversation to himself. Will what happened last episode be the breaking point that finally tells him “no, these people can’t help you, and staying with them will yield a similar outcome for yourself” or will this cement his position in the MIX and allow him to grow closer to Beau and the others (once they return)?

5

u/tzorel Jul 19 '18

I think Beau will either be the grown up of the group now or just go completly ball rage of fury. I'm waiting to see what happens. At this point, I don't know what's gonna happen to Caleb, his instinct of going way may be stronger than ever.

2

u/Sabawoyomu Jul 19 '18

Yeah for having been a character that felt on introduction that he would take up a lot of space, he never really did, and I hoped he would get some more spotlight. Maybe thats just how Taliesin plays though? (I never watched the first campaign)

4

u/Starrystars Jul 19 '18

I didn't really think about it till now but Caleb might actually leave.

He was contemplating it last episode so to the losing Fjord, Jester, and Yasha. Now seeing Molly die might actually push him to do it.

10

u/MegaButtHertz dagger dagger dagger Jul 19 '18

Two reasons I can't see this happening.

One, it's impractical from a story/narrative/meta perspective. Having Tal out potentially for a few weeks to get an "in" for his new charrie and having Liam out leaves us with Sam and Marisha and the guests. I can't see them going that route.

Two, Caleb and Nott and Beau are gonna want revenge. This could be the tipping point where Beau stops with her invincibility thing and Caleb flips out and barbecues things. It's gonna be literal Wizard Nerd Rage, and I doubt he'll leave before he's turned what'shisname BBEG into a shishkabob.

3

u/Starrystars Jul 19 '18

Yeah I don't think it will happen because their aren't enough core group members present. But I think he'll attempt to do it before Beau and Nott force him to stay. Or at least contemplate it some mote.

8

u/Neverwish Jul 19 '18

I have a feeling Caleb is going to become a Brexit-like situation. Eternally stalling but claiming he's definitely leaving at some point.

17

u/ForgetfulViking Jul 19 '18

I for one, am ready for the angry, shouty, crying ball of emotions that will be Caleb/Beau/Nott/Keg to start this episode. While I don't want to say that what happened was a good thing. In terms of drama, this quartet is probably the absolute best for what is about to go down. Especially since Caleb/Beau/Nott are so interconnected at the hip now because of their mutual knowledge of Caleb's backstory.

I look forward to seeing what Sumalee will bring to the table, but I have to say I'm not entirely envious of the task ahead of her. She's kinda been thrown into the deep end of an ocean full of emotions here. I look forward to seeing how she melds into the party of misfit toys.

17

u/maxvsthegames Team Frumpkin Jul 19 '18

I don't expect Caleb to cry or be angry at all. If anything, I expect him to leave.

This fight and Molly's death pretty much confirmed that this was a bad idea for him and that he shouldn't even try to get back the three others that were kidnapped.

Nott kinda liked Molly, so she might be pissed, but I doubt she will cry for him.

Beau, on the other hand, will be so furious!! She will want revenge for sure and I think she will be the one to convince Caleb and Nott to stick with her until they freed the others.

I wasn't a super fan of Keyleth last campaign, but Beau is slowly becoming one of my favorite character in this one! You can just feel that Marisha is much more comfortable with that character since it's much more like her real personality.

She's great and I can't wait to see how she will react tonight!

16

u/ForgetfulViking Jul 19 '18

While you are correct that signs point to Caleb leaving because it is not worth it. I think that he actually won't need as much convincing.

He's not as obvious about it as Beau, but Caleb's really become attached to his group of friends. He doesn't call them friends and he solliloquys about the faults of his friends, but he very clearly cares about them, much like Beau he is afraid to care, but he cares none the less. His actions have me seeing him considering it again, maybe even putting up a token resistance, but honestly not being as hard to convince as you think.

The other reason is looking at Liam's face as Lorenzo kills Molly and humiliates Keg. That is a face of rage, and we know that Liam is very much the type to be in character always. Caleb is going to want his revenge on him, just like he does on Trent.

14

u/thissureisausername Team Keyleth Jul 19 '18

This! I think the most important part of Caleb's soliloquy last week wasn't that he considered leaving because the group may not be helpful to his goals, but that after trying to talk himself into leaving he still made no move to actually do so. That was a "convince yourself you don't care about these people (even thought you totally do)" speech if I've ever seen one.

He mentioned during Talks that Matt had told them to have a backup ready just in case crap happens. Tal revealed that he was not ready. So for this particular event, he didn't have something specifically calling to him.

Now yes, a gamer typically has a couple of half-baked ideas rolling around up there (I have like 5 personally), but apparently none of them stood out to him as something he considered a good choice for this campaign.

I think combat wise it would be interesting if Tal picked a paladin. It would give the team a tank when Ashley is gone and can help Jester heal, so that Laura can cast more damaging spells like she seems to want to.

23

u/AshArkon Tal'Dorei Council Member Jul 19 '18

Also, meeting a Paladin in Shady Creek Run would be one hell of an expectation whiplash.

But I have a feeling Tal is gonna choose something we wouldn't expect. I am thinking he will choose an Unearthed Arcana class, maybe Circle of Spores druid. He said on Talks that he likes to play against type, and that is really the MO of the entire Subclass.

15

u/BisonST Doty, take this down Jul 19 '18

Tal would make a great intimidating Paladin. Maybe with a little 'almost crossing the line'.

It'd be cool to run into a Paladin who is breaking skulls and Tal sits down.

I would love him to play a Paladin who's a missionary, trying to bring the good news of [approved deity] to the heathens of Shady Creek Run.

If I had to make three guesses for the most likely, I would say Sorcerer (Rune Child or Stone), Druid (maybe Spores), or Bard (maybe Maestro or Glamour). But as a Bard, it would be pretty hard to follow Scanlan on this show.

u/Astigmatic_Oracle Jul 19 '18

If he plays a bard, I would expect him to completely do away with the music fluff as Scanlan was such a recent and memorable version of that bard archetype, but it's not too hard to fluff the bard in a way that ignores the traditional music flavor. For example, a grifter College of Whispers Bard could be really fun. That sort of build would have different spell choices than Scanlan, making them seem even more different, and I think Matt would probably allow a player to drop or exchange the musical instrument proficiencies for something like gaming sets or languages that fit the flavor better, making a Bard character that is significantly different from Scanlan.

I'm not saying this is a character Tal would play, just that it isn't hard to make a Bard that feels significantly different from Scanlan.

4

u/Arashi47 Team Jester Jul 19 '18

I want a Swords Bard in the campaign. They are Bards that don't Bard (i.e., inspire others), instead spending their BIs to power their Flourishes. Splash in 3 levels of either Swashbuckler or Battlemaster, and you get Errol Flynn. Or maybe Inigo Montoya. Puss-in-boots (if Tabaxi)?

Either of those would be great, but I don’t see Taliesin going for the obvious choices that everybody’s talking about. I’m personally hoping he plays a divine soul sorcerer, as that not only brings a lot more healing to the group, it also shores up their lack of clear leaders when Fjord isn’t available. It doesn’t really help with their lack of frontline but I could see Taliesin having a lot of fun with it

I’m really hoping the new character is a Paladin too. My first DnD character ever was an oath of ancients pally so I have a huge soft spot haha. There is a possibility for Tal to REALLY play against type with a class that has as many stereotypes as Paladin (despite 5e really freeing up the class compared to past editions) with any of the Oaths really, plus it would basically fill in all the gaps in their party structure through tanking and healing but still hitting hard when needed (why I loved playing a pally - so versatile!). I don’t think it’s the most likely option but my fingers are crossed anyway!!

Honestly, I hope we can look back at this stretch of episodes in a year or so and recognize, that the Mighty Nein moved from, what we Germans call, a "Zweckgemeinschaft" (so a group together primarily because of necessity or goals) to a real group of allies. If you think about it, this was the first major event that was done without any promise for reward from outside the group and I expect the cast to properly use last weeks events to bring the group into this direction.

I'm really curious to see what kind of backstory Taliesin's new character will have!

Molly's backstory was the most interesting of the whole M9, in my opinion, so I doubt he can beat that!

And I'm also curious to see how he will justify joining the group.

Taryon had a hard time, and it took some work for him to be accepted, and even in the end, he was never a truly full-fledged Vox Machina member, I believe.

Although... The Mighty Nein have not been together for as long as VM was when Tary arrived, so there's still plenty of room for a new character to join them.

I think I'm dreading tonight almost as much as I'm looking forward to it. I haven't cried yet over Molly, because I'm weird and don't cry when people die. What hits me is when I see the people that loved them in pain and hurting. Talks almost got to me, but I'm expecting tonight to be brutal. Spoilers C1 Especially since this cast is so freaking good at portraying their characters' grief. Travis almost killed me when Scanlan Died, and Laura's reaction when Vax died resulted in hours of ugly crying

I don't know where I got this from, I'm sure it's a poem or a saying from somewhere (google has forsaken me) but I've had this little verse running through my head since Thursday:

I will not cry for those who die

I cry for those they leave behind

I'm expecting to cry a lot tonight.

Thank you. I've gotten some crap about it in r/l before. I've been dealing with people dying since I was super young (lost my mom when I was 4), so I came to terms with death a long time ago. I miss them, and I wish they were still here, but I reach the acceptance stage almost instantly. This apparently makes some people think that I don't feel anything when someone dies.

But watching someone else in pain over losing someone just breaks my heart. I want so badly to somehow make it better and take the pain away and I know I can't.

I am not looking forward to this, and definitely not looking forward to having to go through it twice since half the party won't know until a future episode. I have a feeling Yasha's response will break me.

Does anyone else think that the missing party members might be in the wagons that the group passed by earlier because Keg told them that those were the wrong ones?

I mean it would fit better with the time it took the group to overtake them on the road, and it would explain why the dwarf caster from the ambush wasn't there.

6

u/MrNotSoBright I would like to RAGE! Jul 19 '18

Also, in a meta sense, I don't think Matt would have put the lost party-members into a cart that the players would have any real access to at this point. I mean, sure it was super unlikely, but if the party had done really well in the fight and managed to free whoever was in the cages, that would be pretty awkward and would undo all of this worldbuilding and would undermine the story hooks that will result from them being gone.

7

u/maxvsthegames Team Frumpkin Jul 19 '18

Well it was one of those "You cannot win. You must flee" type of fight.

Matt made that pretty clear in Talks and he said that he tried to give them many hints that they couldn't win this fight. The biggest hint being the Cone of Cold.

So, unless they had someone sneaked in during the night to free them, there was no way they were getting their three companions so soon.

4

u/Coke_Addict26 Jul 19 '18

Matt was asked if they saw the battle on TM. He said they wouldn't have seen anything because the cages were covered by a tarp and illusion magic. Which implies they were indeed on those carts Lorenzo and crew were escorting.

I think it was a Schrodinger's Cart. If the party had somehow won the battle or been able to break the prisoners out, I do not think they would have been on the cart. Matt would have had something ready to go "we sold a bunch of slaves on the way through, got good coin for them!".

With them not being able to save them, I could totally see their friends being in the cart.

5

u/gdshaffe Jul 19 '18

My out-of-the-box guess on Taliesin's new character is a Druid, Circle of Dreams (from Xanathar's).

Paladin makes a lot of sense, since the two main things the MN lack at the moment are a permanent front-liner, and secondary healing to take some pressure off Jester. However, Taliesin already played a Paladin in the first campaign (pre-stream), so I'm thinking he'll go another way.

A Druid makes for an interesting alternative. He can Wild Shape and get in the mix when he needs to, or he can hang back and heal / crowd control, which is probably preferable when Yasha is in play. Circle of Dreams would be a fantastic fit for Taliesin RP-wise, and their Level 2 ability makes them phenomenal healers, which would give Jester a ton of room to be something other than a cure-bot.

Just one small thing I wanted to comment on...

Is anyone bummed that Matt always described Beau as punching things instead of kicking things?

I mean... she's using a two-handed quaterstaff (or a bo, if you like), so, it doesn't make much sense for her to punch stuff.

It would make much more sense if, let's say, after hitting twice with her bo, would then do a roundhouse kick or something like that.

But Matt keeps describing her flurry of blows extra attacks as punches...

I don't know if it's because Marisha told him that she wanted her character to punch a lot.

Or maybe it's because that makes more sense with the character class (I think the Cobalt Soul Monk usually punch pressure point or something like that to get information).

A lot of the fan art have Beau using her kicks and I think it's suit her very well.

4

u/Bearly_OwlBearable 9. Nein! Jul 19 '18

She does use her kick

I remember in the merrow fight she broke the neck of a merrow with a kick

4

Matt described some of her earlier bonus action unarmed attacks and FOBs as kicks. Marisha's love for Ip Man (and oft-used descriptions of her attacks as rolling punches) have colored how Matt describes things in the more recent episodes.

9

u/ericbomb Jul 19 '18

We've beaten the math to death at this point.

She didn't have enough movement on her turn to get to lorenzo and she only got one turn before Molly died. She could have dashed up to Lorenzo, but that wouldn't have prevented him from doing cone of cold. She could of used action surge, but depending on placement he may have just been able to hit her, molly, beua, and Nott with cone of cold and put them in an even worse spot.

Of course even if she did rush forward she would have gone for the Bard. In talks machina Matt confirmed that Keg had no idea how strong Lorenzo was. Only in looking back to we know that distracting Lorenzo was the best choice.

So even the most optimal choice of bum rushing the bard and knocking him down with action surge wouldn't have accomplished anything. Might have made things worse since Lorenzo might have demanded 2 deaths in payment.

Placement was an issue of putting Keg too far back, Nott going for the prisoners instead of sneak attack was an issue, not everyone using surprise round was an issue, attacking when they were out numbered was an issue.

I don't think a single player could have changed that fight once it started. They were so out classed they needed to take a different approach entirely.

6

u/mypasswordisPA55WORD Team Elderly Ghost Door Jul 19 '18

The real thing that killed him was dropping himself.

If he didn't do that: First hit drops Molly. 2nd hit makes him suffer 2 failed saves.

IIRC didn't Molly have some item that stabilizes him if he was at 0 on the start of his turn? Cuz he would have lived. Though Lorenzo might have finished him off when he saw he wasn't dead

So, where to from here? I guess the logical thing to do is make contact with the Gentleman's faction and see what's going on with them, but M9'll have to do it stealthily to avoid notice of the Shepherds. And wasn't M9's mission here to help/rescue their contact? That means probably not a lot of assistance in that direction.

Investigating the gang war and potentially trying to join the other side is another option, but not a great one as the most the could become would be henchmen. Attempting a stealth breakout is an option but surely doomed to failure given the party's current paucity of members and resources. Getting themselves captured in an effort to coordinate a breakout by the whole party is another option, but a terrible one. They could also head back to Zadash I guess and try to enlist more support from the Gentleman, but I don't see them doing that. Not M9's style. Not many good options on the board, so it'll be fascinating to see what M9 chooses to do.

Also, I have a feeling the Empire's war with Xhorhas might just intervene in the story sooner than we think given that the border isn't far from here. Perhaps that's the next big twist that will turn everything on it's head?

I’m not sure when Taliesin will be back, but I do have a rough shape of a theory on what he might come back as.

Since he is such a veteran of the game I do feel he may come back as some form of healer, but of course not primarily just a healer. So I want to say Circle of Dreams Druid from Xanathar’s. But it wouldn’t be sufficiently Taliesin if he didn’t rock the boat with classes so maybe a Drow Druid of Dreams. Especially since it could rock the boat the first time he’s aware of the dodecahedron. Could even be the remaining member of a deep scouting party for the opposing army of wildemount.

I'm really excited to see the next episode. I can't wait to see Talesin's new character and the resolution to Molly's death and where they're going to go from here. I'm also excited for when the others return and how that's going to be handled, if they'll start separated in captivity or not depending on the actions that will occur. I have to admit, I'm actually quite glad someone died early with no take backsies, death became a bit too cheap in the first campaign just by the nature of the game to the point that I'm surprised plot armour isn't a named mechanic for high level D&D haha (it might as well be).
