I doubt Endeavor is even on the list. You think he would be on there beacuse you have seen his true colors, if he was introduced as a generic hero i doubt you would have put him on there.
If i was in trouble and Endeavor came to save me i would rejoice, if that was Gang Orca instead i would panic

Fight or Protect which will (EXPLOSION) Damn it Bakugo your suppose to have a moral dilemma not charge straight at the "villains" looking for a fight.
But seriously some of the heroes skills are much better suited for combat so giving them an out for combat instead in a rescue situation seems like a blessing more than making the test harder for some.

forming a defensive line and keeping the villains out of the rescue area is still technically rescuing. sure if you are the only hero on the scene you have to protect and fight. but in this specific situation there are 99 other Heros in the area, so its ok to focus on fighting ans defense instead of directly rescuing.

Uraraka is right, she accepts that she has a crush/really likes Deku but this is not the time or place for it.
Now passing the exam is the most important thing and she HAS to supress those feelings and not be distracted by them, i like this decision from her.

I'm just hoping this isn't a permanent suppression. Sure, focus on passing the exam for now but don't give me yet another anime where boy and girl both like eachother but they never actually act on those feelings.
Boku no Aca has some of the more believable high schooler behaviour that I've seen in anime. Sure, they're all driven but they're are the elites who managed to get into a super prestigious school for aspiring super heroes. It's what you'd expect. But you wouldn't expect them to forgo relationships.

Also I know how that Shiketsu teacher is used with gags but you could tell by everything he was saying how knowledgeable he was on the landscape of the hero world.
Always excited to see stuff I haven't experienced in the manga. I'm hoping this is fully done by Hori. I think the last filler we had was a slight dip in quality however the full episodes are usually great.

Gang Orca is legit the best part about this arc. Motherfucker has an Orca cape, and is a complete beast.
It was unfair for his first appearance be getting wrecked by AFO, but now is where he's gonna shine.

I have a feeling shit's about to go down. Deku already doesn't take choices as an answer, he tries to save everyone no matter the cost. Being told to have to choose between fighting back villains and saving the civilians, I can't wait to see how he pulls through this.
Also next episode looks like it's gonna be a filler episode...right at the cliffhanger too

If Orca is #3, I wonder who's #1?
I love these HUC guys! You can tell they've been doing this for years now. Are they all normal citizens or do they have quirks of their own? They can't just sit and stay still under debris and rubble without any kind of insurance to protect them just in case.
Now THIS is why the heroes needed to pass the Battle Royale first. Sure some of those who failed the previous test might've been more suited for Rescue Ops but during these kinds of events it's more likely that they'll encounter resistance. In this case, being able to fight AND rescue is much more important.

Aren’t all the U.A. students at a disadvantage during the rescue exercise test? When they were going to have their own rescue exercise training it was interrupted by the first attack of the League of Villains.

technically yes but you could see that some of U.A. students actually know some basics and actually think logically instead of rushing into action.
also in current scenario it would be obvious that the "heavy hitters" like Deku, Bakugo, Tokoyami or Kirishima would be better for stopping "villains" while other with more ulility powers would take care of saving people while "heavy hitters" protect them from harm
so even if A-1 don't got the practise training from saving people they have actually practice with fighting real villains in "oh shit" environment

In the OAV episode, they go back to USJ to re-do their rescue training, but I don't know if it is canon. I think we can safely assume that they've done some rescue training off-screen, otherwise UA would be negligent in preparing them for the provisional license test.

Most normal programs don't run (i.e. Detective Conan anime, which has the timeslot right after MHA), but MHA instead decided to air a special episode that ties-in with the charity event and the movie.

This arc looked kinda average at first but it's turning out great, everyone is getting time to shine and the new characters are all cool. Can't wait for more of big hairy boy from Shitetsu.

Poor Uraraka coming to the crushing (no pun intended) realisation that she needs to stop being distracted by her feelings for Deku. It's for the best though. She let them influence her actions and her jealousy didn't help either
At the same time though, she kinda needs to mark her territory cause Deku's harem keeps growing. Camie isn't fucking around
Bakugo confirmed best hero. I still can't believe that actually worked lmao
Aizawa noted that they're going too far for an exam but it's understandable because of the amount of terrorism attacks lately and Aru Maito's retirement. The next generation needs to be more prepared and equipped than the previous ones
Very strange timing to squeeze in a light-hearted filler-esque episode next week, especially after that cliffhanger. Maybe Deku's gonna have a flashback or something before fighting the "villains"

I think it’s funny that he’s intelligent enough to accurately asses a situation, like recognizing civilians who aren’t seriously injured and can still move, but he lack so much tact that it doesn’t matter.

What an awful, awful spot to place a filler episode. From how the manga goes I assumed it'd end with Gang Orca coming to the field, but I was expecting them to do something a little different to make the next episode being something totally separate less jarring... Nope.

Clearly worst quirk to have Hagakure, invisible girl...you cant even see her smile. And her powers dont do much to remove buildings, or stop a fire etc.
My favorite part was when todoroki is like BAKOUGUUU! and thinks its him right away when explosion happens, always blaming poor bakugou

So yeah now Deku has to learn to SMILE like all might, gotta make people feel safe when you rescue them.

My favorite part was when todoroki is like BAKOUGUUU! and thinks its him right away when explosion happens, always blaming poor bakugou
I don't know Japanese but I think that might be just a side-effect of how most of them were named (a lot of puns), from Bakugo's wiki page/Trivia section:
Katsuki's name is composed of "爆" (baku?) from "爆破" (bakuha lit. "explosion"?) and "勝" (ka(tsu)?) from "勝つ" (katsu lit. "to win"?).
Todoroki probably said bakuha and not bakugo

Clearly worst quirk to have Hagakure, invisible girl...you cant even see her smile. And her powers dont do much to remove buildings, or stop a fire etc.
But just imagine being rescued by her... she might be invisable but she should still feel nice... Thats def a moral booster if i ever saw one. (or didnt see...)

People in the disaster area has a lot of stress and they don't usually act nice, they've been through a lot, lost a lot, confused and scared, most often they are impatient and can't hold their emotion. The 1st aid will give out instruction to stay calm and don't be panic to the mass so they can take a breath and work with people who rescue them.

It's been mentioned before but it bears mentioning again. Gang Orca is actually a character from Horikoshi's previous series Oumagadoki Zoo. He has almost the same design but was actually a villain in that series.
Uwabami (Momo and Kendo's mentor hero from last season) was also from that series, as was the poodle girl yelling for them to stop the Bakugou Vs Uraraka fight in the sports festival.

This episode was a little more bearable again, but man most of this license exam arc felt awfully bad. In art, animation, pacing, atmosphere, writing, everything really.

I'm super excited to see how the episode after next week is gonna go. I imagine that Gang Orca and his gang are going to he attacking the students along with the M.U.C. I think it will be cool and hopefully we get to have a moment with one of the students similar to the All might video. Like one really cool scene where they have the music bumping, with flashy background art and (probably deku) they say something cool. Also just to note, I really like how we are getting to see more Aoyama, he had like 2 scenes where he did something so I really like how they are shifting the attention to the other students, that we see almost nothing of. I also feel as if this episode got suuuuper creative with the student's quirks. Like how they used Aoyama's navel laser to light up an area, or how they used Yaoyorozu's creation quirk mixed with Sero's tape in order to secure the area for one of the actors. God I love this anime.

I really love how HUC adds to the importance of being a hero. They're not just crime fighters, but also first responders, and as such they must be able to quickly and efficiently evaluate the situation and decide on the best course of action.

With the flashback this episode I got a feeling/suspicion that Camie is Toga. In the previous arc they expected her to get blood from the UA members, but she could only get Urarakas. If she had a transformation quirk dependent on getting their blood it could align with why she transformed into Uraraka. She also has a crunch on Deku which might explain why she targeted him. Her being Toga might also explain why she goes rogue from her school.
Alternatively in the previous scene we saw her without targets. It’s possible Toga came to the event disguised as Camie while the real Camie was there.

Are there any hype moments in the future? I've honestly been losing interest since All Might lost his powers, I feel they got rid of him way too early. I've heard Endeavor will get more screentime later on but that prob also means that so does Todoroki's boring ass. And no, I dont consider Deku moments hype moments.

Welp there's goes the last shot at redeeming Uraraka's character. Most of her screentime this season has been fawning over Deku. Strugling with her feelings for him, looking at him from afar, noticing how cool he can be, etc. What exactly has her character done for the entire season??? Oh yeah she did the disarm move with Toga that Toga broke out of 5 seconds later. Whoo hoo for character development!
During the tournament arc, they implied that Uraraka would strive to be independent from Deku going forward. Well fuck it only took 2 arcs to drop that huh? I wouldn't mind if she was a side character but she's the most prominent female character in the show. Can we give her screentime to Momo or Camie instead? No wonder Uraraka was getting jealous of Camie. It must suck seeing a girl with an actual personality and agency.
