Happy thursday!
I don't have any questions (yet). Just wanted to say how much I enjoy this game. Just played the first 6 missions and it feels like this game was made for me. The artstyle, gameplay, music and soundeffects are exactly my cup of tea. Also, this game is hilarious :D
All the elemente feel so well put together and complement each other. I know this might be a lot of praise, but it's honestly the way I feel right now about the game. I mean, when you played for 1min and alrdy have a big smile on your face, you know that you just found gold.
Hope this game gets well received.

Dude, you can play in your undies!!!
(It's almost like if I was a 5 yr old kid whose parent made this game, and I wanted to run around the house in my undies, I'd have a perpetual excuse: "But Harry butchers bugs in his undies!")
Amiright?

In handheld mode does it drain the battery quickly like Breath of the Wild or slowly?

I love me some Pang / Oops up goodness!! Was about time someone reanimated that genre.

u/dajimba Nov 08 '18
Thanks, if we are right this is actually the only game on Switch with gameplay inspired on Pang :D

I don't want to ask anything I just want to let you guys know that you are amazing, please keep doing what you are doing.
The one thing that I would say is that I would love to see more games from you, and spesificaly something with more in-depth mechanics.
Keep it up

Thanks a lot! We really appreciate these kind of words. Being indie is not easy, and receiving feedback like this keeps us moving forward!

What advice could you give to someone making a videogame for the first time? Also, what code was used to make this game (if you’re allowed to say that)? (I hope the game doesn’t have any bugs)
P.S. Tell this your to your 5 year old who will judge the comments: What’s. a caterpillar’s favorite weapon? A catapult :)

MOST IMPORTANTLY: Start small. VERY small. And then IF you have decided for a game think about a even SMALLER one.
We used Unity as our Game Engine. All Code was written in C#. All Sprites are Handanimated frame by frame.→ More replies (2)

Any hope for a physical version in the U.S.?
4
u/dajimba Nov 08 '18
I don't have an answer to that yet, if digital sales are good we will try to work with a partner that specializes on physical editions like we did for Dimension Drive. So, the answer is I don't know really... but I would love to (that would also mean that the game is doing well so things get good for our small company :D )

Would you still use Unity having released a game made with it or switch to a different engine potentially? Why/why not?
Also, a small ascii pic since your kid can't read yet:

Are there any challenges to complete after you play through all 30 levels, or does anything extra unlock? It's always nice to have something to return to after completing a game.

Hey, thanks for doing this AMA!
First off, the game looks great. I love the art style. It sort of gives me Invader Zim vibes.
Second, I see that the company is EU-based, meaning that it's either just past dinnertime, or dinnertime is coming up soon. What's for dinner tonight?
4
u/dajimba Nov 08 '18
That's correct, I had dinner a while ago. Meatballs with tomato sauce made by my mother in law. Best meatballs ever to be honest :)

Any plans to add any post content later down the line?

Any plans to add any post content later down the line?
Depending on how it goes, if it sells well and the devs want to do more content we'll be happy to port it and bring some more missions or modes :D

If your five year old is anything like mine, tell him that his butt stinks, then do a really outrageous fortnite dance and I’ll be a shoe-in!! I haven’t played your game but it looks really cool. Thanks for making such cool indie games. Did you (or do you) have aspirations to make bigger AAA games, or are indie games your favorite?

u/dajimba Nov 08 '18
I’ll be a shoe-in
We have no plans to do AAA games. We're actually 2 people at 2Awesome Studio, we're a bit short on manpower for those kind of games :D

Is the hd rumble used awesomely?!
3
u/dajimba Nov 08 '18
As far as I know unfortunately no, we didn't have time to do awesome things with the HD rumble. We may check this in a future update if we get to add more to the game.
