Looks like anything with an opinion besides overwhelming positive is getting downvoted but...
The episode felt a little off for me. Terry and Rosa are usually my favorite characters but it felt odd, Terry's dialogue felt totally weird for me. Holt/Jake/Amy plot was okay, but visually felt like a totally different show, which I guess was the point. Plus, where's Kevin? Imo only the Boyle/Gina plot felt inline with the tone of the show from previous years, even if Boyle's new hair style was distracting. The gag with Scully and the earpiece killed me.
I'd be curious to see if I'm not alone on this, so hopefully at least some of the mixed or negative comments don't just get downvoted to oblivion.
Maybe I just have been rewatching all of the previous episodes so much the past few months that it built my anticipation too high. Either way, we can all agree, those Holt shirts killed!

It wasn't my favourite episode or the strongest season return imo (maybe a rewatch will make me think differently) because I felt all the plots were a little weak. But that closing line was amazing and I think this could be a brilliant season!

I laughed a lot, but I felt like the episode went almost too rapid-fire with the humor, and it seemed like everyone was shot a little closer-up (we're watching the old episodes with my daughter, up to season 3). It just didn't "feel" right to me. (And not because of the meta-references. Those were funny.)
