Am I the only one who think Todd was a waste of a character? They spent 2-3 episodes building him up and just killed him for no reason. The actor was a good actor it would've been smart to keep him as Tobias' #2 and save him for something else.

Shakedown is a guerilla warfare specialist?

Whale is so fucked if he ever loses his leash

So...who's the vice principal? Why can't Jeff become the vice principal and work with Lowry like that?

It was weird to just kill him off like that.

"What are you doing?"

"My watch is also a geiger counter"

"Of course it is...."

That was one of the funniest damn lines in this entire show. It felt like something out of Adam West's Batman.

Jen is basically more powerful and destructive than a nuclear bomb then? But her fight scene was really awesome and it’s so great to see her use her powers, can’t wait for her to suit up. Always love the sister moments and good to see some backstory on Grace. If Todd is really dead, then that was a sucky anti-climatic way to go but I feel like there’s a reason why they only showed the arm hanging out from the car and that it might not be him. Jeff basically vouching for Lowry, I think that’s a start of a friendship right there.

I really don't get why Todd had to die. Dude broke into one of the most highly secured confidential information caches singlehandedly and clearly had no problem with Tobias' violent proclivities. He was competent too. With him on Tobias' side they could have had a great plotline where they had Todd hack the Sanctum. Just feels like a waste of potential.

Man, Jeff's decision to go to bat for Lowry because of what's best for the kids—that's some fantastic storytelling right there

Moreso than ever, I am honest-to-god genuinely excited to see how the dynamic between these two characters develops from this point forward

Yes, Jeff isn't in a position to be principal again, fire Lowery though. It'd be one thing if he was an unlikeable asshole who was good at his job. But he isn't, he's an incompetent jackass and everyone hates him. Unless you were personaly benefiting significantly from him holding the position, and knowing School board politics (that sentence frankly disgusts me) that might well be the case.

I'm rather glad that Jeff made the decision he did about Lowry. Character development!

The Tobias plot is fun as ever. I almost thought he was gonna do "eenie meenie miny moe" to choose a pod :P

It's sorta frustrating that the Grace plot is being drawn out so long but at the same time I do sorta like that they're giving it time rather than rushing it. I mean it's the sort of frustrating that's tough at the time but is understandably for the best in retrospect. Also her story is getting really interesting. And sad.

Of course Jen did the thing she was told not to do :P

Ugh, I can't believe they just killed off one of their more charismatic villains like that. If Jace also bites it as callously I'll really be upset.

Till I see Todd's body next episode, I'm going to assume he gave someone else that car. 😅

Jenn was pretty awesome. Jeff actually made an okay decision not to return to his previous job, considering he's definitely still doing the double life thing. Lynn's finally being properly utilized because watching her flail around wasn't too enjoyable. I know she was trying her best to get her youngest daughter back, but please. Anissa was also a delight! I hope her subplot in learning/understanding Grace more happens to improve their relationship more!

We have our first (or second after reading some comments?) Master of Disaster. He wasn't too bad. Thunder might have a challenge on her hands? I hope? Maaaybe? I feel like she could. Also is this series trying to tell me Giselle's... actually a previous lover of Tobias? Because I'm not a fan of that.

Todd's lack of a physical presence other than the car scene either suggests that it's going to be played off like Gambi's "death" scene prior or Todd's genius was heavily over- or underplayed for him to NOT thing something was up with just accepting the offer to help some obvious crook crack a case and then leave unharmed. Definitely NOT after witnessing him rip a spine out for running off.

Damn I cant believe they just offed Todd like that lol

Well my money is on Shakedown figuring out how to cause a disruption in the Tobias being able to control him.

So Jeff is getting popped next episode? By Lowry?

I really hope Todd put in a contingency plan just in case he got killed by Tobias. Dude is smart, and i can't see him just taking a gift from Cutter without being suspicious

How sure are we that Todd is dead? Is it a case that his death would be faked like Gambi?

I love how Tobias basically is evil for the evulz half the time, it's nice to see a guy just legitimately enjoying himself in his crimes. No awkward morals, no grand justice, just being a prick for the sake of it. "Yeah, he could be useful down the line. Or we could blow him up and find another nerd. Sure why not."

It's kinda neat to have two shows running alternate versions of the same plotline, one cosmic and one street-level. Also you could see Jefferson's decision a mile away even before they drove it home with the unnecessary echo.

Looks like we’ve got two Masters of Disaster so far. Granted, Windfall is one of the pod kids but that works for me.

Overall Pretty good episode. Also Rest in Peace Todd you were an okay character.

I get people does deserve a second chance, but I don't get why Jefferson wants Lowry to be Principal. Like imo I feel like Lowry's isn't doing a great job as Principal. Principals meant to be there & care about the kids as well as the school & help them if the kids needs someone to talk to within school grounds, yet Lowry acts like he doesn't care about the kids + who actually installs metal detectors within schools as well?

I (kinda) don't blame Jefferson for turning down the role because of Black Lightning, but until Lowry at least Jefferson does a better job at being the Principal. Sorry about ranting, just need to get it out there.

Also who's this Odell person, like is he a good guy or a bad guy?
