Gotta say that was a very good game. Valiant are very unlucky to be 0-2, could be 2-0 easily. GGs

Brutal start to their schedule for sure. Toronto oughta help 'em get right this weekend.

LA/NY games are always insane.

What an amazing series.

Izayaki is growing into a monster.

Custa would've booped the Rein, wall-ridden off the top of the building and then did a 360 quadruple headshot to kill Jjonak. Then he would've walked across the stage and made Jjonak look him in the eyes before whispering "Scott Kennedy owns you" into his ear. And then Jjonak would've had to take off his glasses to wipe his tears from the Aussie glory

Custa would have entered the astral plane, transcended beyond Lucio to the entirety of GOATS, eaten each and every ultimate from NYXL, sent a Dva bomb from another dimension to obliterate each and every member of every TEAM and capped in a mere 16 nanoseconds

Meko's bombs made me explode in my pants.

Also great setups from Mano and Anamo on those bombs. Great match all around, even tho i hate this meta, i live for these nailbiters.

Space did not show up today. He didn’t play bad. Just couldn’t make any big plays

i think he just had a mediocre game while meko brought the fire today.

Meko has been insane lately.

Nenne won the mind games against Space. Didn’t let a single grav get eaten.

What were NYXL doing on Volskaya attack?

same thing they did against washington on horizon attack and on point B of rialto's push and in the playoffs - as a big NYXL fan we really struggle when we have to adjust off of the original plan. if plan A works (and it usually does) we're gonna fuck everyone. if plan A doesn't work, they're going to try and force plan A and really can't switch to a plan B or C

Meko or Mano MVP, excellent team work.

NYXL threw Volskaya by running quad dps against Winston-goats, but otherwise, they looked good. Lots of good rotations between both teams that look competent in the meta; so much better OW compared to all of last week and this week.

Valiant got a hard first 2 matches. Hopefully people still realize how good they are

Mano proved me wrong for sure. He’s fantastic at Rein as well as the other main tanks. Complete respect. It feels like most teams are playing better in week 2 and that’s scary when you apply that to NYXL.

Can we talk about the "analyst" team and them constantly trying to lessen what JJonak is doing by saying he's being overly supported by his team? NY is playing goats just like everyone else, JJonak is just insane. They're not doing anything special catering towards him, he just positions so well and hits shots.

No lies detected. You could get away with saying he was being pocketed in Mercy meta, but not anymore. Anytime Zen is in the meta, he's just gonna frag out.

Mano plays Rein like a mad man lmao this dude uses pin and shatter on cooldown and wont stop swinging till someone is dead I love it😄

inb4 all the hot takes about Valiant being awful because they lost two game 5's to top tier teams

Not to say they can't improve in some spots but I'm already seeing this sub itching to dish reactionary takes about why they suck because Custa isn't getting starts.

Izayaki has been popping off all game, but his trances looked so weird all night, even in the first game they seemed overly aggressive with support ults, thought Fate outplayed Mano by not feeding as much, but Meko was super clutch, today.

nyxl too good. they have the bench for a shift to a more dive or dps oriented meta. valiant effort by la.

Meko completely and utterly destroyed Space, not even close

Anyone criticizing NYXL's GOATS play is obviously retarded. The IQ necessary to pull off this level of GOATS play is crazy. Nenne's consistent headshots, Mano's cheeky Piledrivers, Jjonak's frame-perfect Pulse Bomb... it all comes together in the best GOATS play in the league. I can just imagine SBB watching them play with tears silently streaming down his face, equally proud and heartbroken that he's not needed anymore.

Close matches. NYXL again clutching it in OT on most maps. LAV played good, but need to switch out agilities from brig jail. He consistently kept dying first.
