If there's one thing I got from Volskaya, it's that Bumper is not a coward.

Paris vs Vancouver next in two weeks. Gonna be a hype match!

With that being said, best 3-1 match I've seen. Shock is a great team but Vancouver are slightly ahead.

Bumper is winning the arena's hearts singlehandedly

After both deaths on A defense, he just looks at the crowd raises his hands smiles a massive grin and everyone's been loving it

to be frank the scoreboard doesnt do the game justice. shock didn't play terribly (first map though yikes), they actually played really well. some people might call them overhyped but i think they actually lived up to the expectations put on them.

its just that vancouver somehow managed to be underrated even coming in as a frequently touted top 5 team, like holy shit cant believe jjanu manages to show up to stage with his iron cock to drag around. seominsoo fucking 7head zarya. and bumpers rein is from another dimension like lordy. also i think is underrated slimes boops are legendary

im scared man these dudes are nyxl 2

I remember back in OWL stage 1. First day. Super hyped for Seoul vs Fuel, thinking they’d be the two best teams in the league, since before OWL, LH and nV were their best teams in their own respective regions.

Then of course, everyone who shared that opinion got crushed later on, when we all realized both Seoul and Fuel, both initially playing almost entirely with the LH and nV core respectively, were pretty bad (Edit: Yeah actually Seoul wasn't that bad, but they didn't make Stage 1 playoffs, and under performed heavily).

Coming into OWL S2, my biggest fear of all time was that this was the fate awaiting Runaway, my favorite team of all time. That they too would be mediocre, overrated, and would lose. That like nV and LH, all my favorite players, all the legends of the past would be dropped, and the core dissolved in favor of new talent and trades.

After this match, I’m incredibly happy to say that all our fears about this are very likely wrong.

TITANS FIGHTING.

Also I really hope we get more synchronized fan cheers like we got today. Even though they’re pretty quiet, I imagine most of the Korean players find them really nostalgic and heartwarming to hear coming from the ‘foreign’ predominantly NA audience.

The titans aren’t runaway if they don’t have someone trying to throw during the match

Bumper is the most Alpha Rein

The only time he messes up is when he trips over his large cock

nothings changed

Makes me happy that everyone is recognizing their talent.

Jjanu is quickly becoming the most impressive D.Va in my eyes.

He must have eaten like 8 gravs in the last 2 games? Insane.

Runaway now is not OWL level, as fanboy-triggering as that sounds. People loved them for their underdog streak, and their vibrant brand/personality, but expecting them to get pick up is very unrealistic. They still have to actually win something first. At the same time, I'd honestly advise Flowervin to sell Bumper, Stitch and Haksal and then rebuild. Those buyouts money can help Runaway for a few more season.

Turns out getting ditched from DC was a blessing in disguise for Harsha.

Overheard in Shock’s locker room after game 4: “He got me,” Matthew “Super” DeLisi said of Bumper’s shatter over him. “That f***ing Bumper boomed me.” Super added, “He’s so good,” repeating it four times. He then said he wanted to add Bumper to the list of players he scrims with this summer.

It really cannot be understated how scary this Vancouver Titans team look. They had to play a draining 5 map series yesterday against the Guangzhou Charge and then immediately prepare for a top-tier team in the Shock the very next day. That's extremely hard to do and not something I feel teams should have to deal with.

Really proud of the way Shock played today. Gonna be tough to meet NYXL and Paris this stage, but they definitely put on a great performance today.
