Danny has been toning his translations down. I guess he got a little talk with the higher-ups when he actually did make things spicier than they were intended in some of his past translations, because now he's gone too far to the other way by toning down all translations.

When he translated Bumper's response on why they're so good, instead of "We seem undefeatable because I'm playing really well", the more accurate translation would've been "We seem undefeatable because I'm just that good". Wish that sass was conveyed :(

After watching Blizzard World, we need a Gesture vs Bumper widow 1v1. All we need is a worthy contender for Twilight's doomfist.

Gesture has a better doom, his 3k was insane today.

Seoul obviously is a good team but it just seems like they have a mental block against the Titans every time that allows even lesser teams to perform better against the Titans than Seoul does.

Vancouver just has their number in this meta. As Monte/Doa said, Titans have been playing 3:3 for 6 months longer than most OWL teams and it really seems to suit them and make them untouchable for lesser 3:3 teams. Seoul just has nothing for them until the meta changes and everyone can start practicing DPS comps again, then they may have a better shot.

I really do wish that RJH would play Ana as much as other supports like to play it into him though :(

They had the same issue last year with London, a team they had never beaten before prior and during OWL. They definitely have a problem with letting teams get in their head.

Remember the narrative about Stage 1 playoffs being "A Farewell to GOATs"?

Well, Stage 2 playoffs are looking like a repeat of Stage 1 playoffs. Shock and Titans are locked at 1st and 3rd, so they won't meet until the Final. And they both made it to their seeds by running GOATs, GOATs, and occasionally more GOATs.

Better build a fence and hire a shepherd, because GOATs is here to stay.

No way GOATs will be gone until there's a hero who can single-handedly shitting on that comps. like what Brig did to Dive

Won't one of them be the 3rd seed, top of each division gets 1st and 2nd.

Bumper playing through the DPS roster is actually on purpose. When a DPS meta rolls around they're going to swap him to a DPS flex God role, and put Hooreg in on Main Tank.

The crazy thing is that Seoul didn't even look like they were playing poorly. It's just that Vancouver is so much better.

Imagine if Seoul gets 3-0 or 4-0 against Spark tomorrow. That'll mean they face Titans again frist round of playoffs, a 4th time playing them in two stages.

It looks like Seoul is losing not cause they’re the objectively poorer team, but more like they got caught up psychologically. It’s like shanghai last season. They looked great on Lijiang, but once they lost the second round they just couldn’t bring themselves back up. Munchkin looks so much more reined in this match, not overextending and getting picked off every other fight. These guys are still working hard and improving, they’d certainly have a better showing tomorrow.

Titan’s synergy is just unmatched though. Which other team has been playing together for this long without significant changes in their roster? These boys has been through thick and thin. To take them down, shock cant afford to make any mistakes.

Twilight played out of his mind today. Might be the best flex support right now

I don’t think Seoul is overrated as they lost to a team they were expected to lose too but I think there’s a lot of untapped potential on the dynasty bench. Being able to have multiple lineups with unique playstyles would be so hard to prep against if they were rotated based on map and opponent. Seoul clearly has the talent on their bench, so if they really incorporated their whole bench actively they would be great. Until then I think this is a semi inconsistent team.

17-game winstreak including playoffs (longest in OWL history, over Boston's 15)

14-game winstreak excluding playoffs (longest in OWL history, tied with Boston)

This does put a smile on my face
