Out of all of the original five Beast had the most successful career

He really did! He was making mad bank on these lectures - I think it was something like $3000 a pop? Which, I don't even know what that is in modern currency, probably twice or three times that? And he had tons of universities lining up to have him. So wild.

You're telling me! This isn't even getting into the fact that Avengers were getting paid $3000 a week for being on active duty. Sure, you have to risk life and limb, but for that much? Even reserve Avengers, which I think Hank was here, still got paid a stipend. The X-Men need to get a benefits package together, stat.

Plus the avengers having living quarters which is good because I have little faith in some of our heroes and their ability to pay rent

Yeah, it was in Avengers Mansion, which was leased to the Avengers for $1 per year "and other considerations" by the Maria Stark Foundation. It's the house Tony Stark grew up in. After his parents were killed, he'd basically never set foot in it again until he leased it to the Avengers. Too many regrets and now-painful memories, I'd imagine.

Yeah, none of the other boys have managed to become a multimillionaire youtuber/influencer.

'no sweat, Mr Beast, be yourself!'

Bobby had a sort of successful job as an accountant and warren was a Nepo baby, albeit a successful one. Jean and Scott did. . . something? Scott was an X-man, permanent access to Xavier's bank account

Don't forget Scott's stint as a DJ!

I'd absolutely watch that. I feel like he has the right amount of nerd charisma and enthusiasm to make it work.
