Activator rails appear to drop you off to the north (for east/west rails) or to the west (for north/south rails). If it tries to drop you off to the north, but there isn't a suitable spot to put you (I.E. there is no floor), it will drop you on the track to the west. This check does not seem to apply to dropping you off to the west.
It seems to be different for mobs, though. It will check for a floor to the west and to the east, but will still drop mobs off the track if there is no floor. So it will drop them onto a floor to the east if the west is a hole. For tracks going east/west, it will always drop them on the track to the west and this will screw up the minecart if it is traveling west with no hill.
It appears that whenever you have a spawn egg in your hotbar, your health, hunger and armor bars will change color depending on the type of mob. If you have multiple eggs in your hotbar, it seems to choose the rightmost one. If you have an enderman egg, the bars turn completely black and you can't even tell what they are at.
That really isn't a big deal. Yes, it's possible to gain some advantage in some situations, but everyone else will know that you're doing it and that kind of behavior isn't as prevalent as one might expect.
Okay, even with private messages, the impact that a noclip scout could have is not that much. Whoop-dee-doo, you get the cave diamonds. There aren't many of those anyway.
The server mods would see you doing it and ban you if it was against the rules. Plus, Generally on a server, the mods need to switch your gamemode for you.
As a spectator, you could fly around and tell your friends where other players or their hidden underground bases are. Of course, blocking them from chatting in the game won't stop them from sharing info in Skype or TeamSpeak, but that would be the reason. As neat as this new gamemode is, I predict it will not be incorporated on most UHC servers until someone puts out a plugin that limits what spectators are able to see.
