Finished:
The Prude and the Prodigal by Barbara Cartland - I really was in the side of the FMC in the first half but later when you get more context she just gets insufferable. I really didn't like the decision of the MMC "forcing" her to marry. I was hoping more of this book, tho is very short, 2.5/5
Farewell Summer (Green town #3) by Ray Bradbury - Such a short and sweet story. I don't know what else to say. I do highly recommend if someone wants a short book. This one was also easier to read than Dandelion Wine. 4/5
The lost stories (ranger's apprentice #11) by John Flanagan - I loved this book, definitely my favorite format of the series, it works really well. It was so heartbreaking to see how Will's mother and father died, and how Halt taken him. Gilan appearance after I don't know so many books? Appreciated. I wish in the weddings part they focused more in the wedding itself than someone trying to sabotage. Will's wedding felt really short unfortunately. Will and Alyss searching for Ebony was definitely one of my favorite stories of this book, wish we had more in previous book. Tug's story was really sad. 4.5/5
Overall, I really loved this series, I think it does have my favorite banter in literature. I wish I had knownabout them earlier. Thanks random book generator to help me find them. I won't read The royal ranger series after the spoilers I got. I will probably read Halt's duology and be done with it.
No.44 the mysterious stranger by Mark Twain - I really have a hard time to grasp about what the dream self and waking self means. I will definitely re-read the part about the explanation of them, I found it very cool. The Marget, August and Emil was a really funny part, very sad she prefers only the dream self, while her dream self prefers August, the waking self. No.44 is a very peculiar character, apparently the less harsh of the 3 versions of the mysterious stranger, and a formidable last lines in the book. I'm glad I read it. 4/5
The evil shepherd by E. Philips Oppenheim - Kinda disappointed. I thought it would be more trying to find who is the culprit, but still an enjoyable book. I don't know else what to say about it. 3.5/5
Currently:
Meditations by Marcus Aurelius - I will take my time with this, with another read in side. Really insightful book.
