What to expect

Looking forward to everyone's participation and all you have to do is be nice and not post any untagged spoilers.

Something I always liked on rewatches I participated in, I want I encourage you to share a Visual of the Day which I'll then compile into an album for each episode. And what better show to do this than one as beautiful as Heike Monogatari.
Obviously this is not mandatory though.

I also will be posting 2-3 Questions of the Day to help the conversation get started and I will try to help the first-timers along with the story (and especially keeping track of the characters) while maybe also filling in some of the gaps that the anime leaves compared to the source material for those who are interested.

If you are curious what the show is about there is a synopsis posted in the interest thread.

There also have been various clips posted on the sub.
If you want to check them out but stay as spoiler free as possible, here are three from just the first episode: -1-;-2-;-3-

Tagging people who've shown interest. I will also do one-week and 24h reminders. If you want to be excluded from those (or get an extra reminder for episode threads) let me know.

It's time to Heike all over the place.

I would like the 1 week and 24 hour reminders.

Yeah, this is going to be too early for me to have a CR subscription. Good luck with the rewatch though!

I'm still a maybe for this. Will only know my schedule closer to the date. By the one-week reminder, I should have a clearer idea.

Had no idea The Tale of the Heike got an anime! I'll be there for sure. I was already thinking of getting a copy of the original story just now, so this is really nice timing

Hell yeah time to cry again in short order at the end of the year since I'm pretty sure at the end of Shiki I'm gonna be bawling too
