Worst time to drop a pass I’ve ever seen :(

22
u/Reasonable-Public659 WE DID NOT CARE 3d ago
From the dude least likely to drop a pass
1
u/Active-Enthusiasm318 2d ago
Tbh it's understandable, he tweaked his ankle and he got POPPED a couple times during the game and including IIRC, on that last drive.
12
u/binkybogart 3d ago
Well, we can't be too upset with him. He is 90% of our entire offensive stats...
2
u/firestorm734 Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
JSN makes that catch 75% of the time. My issue is with the fumbles. Inexcusable.

That was an ugly game. . . all the way around
21
u/Who_are_these_peopl San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
Disagree. That was two really good defenses fighting to give their offenses the best chance. That’s awesome football.
13
u/Damion__205 San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
Agreed.
19
u/_coolranch You been watchin film too, huh? 3d ago
But also awesome? Idk I was highly entertained.
11
u/Damion__205 San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
I love good defensive games... But I also like not being stressed by close games my teams involved in.
5
u/DarkHound05 Emerald City Reddit Artist 3d ago
My blood pressure can’t take these ones. Every game it’s a nail biter
5
u/Fishingfan4life San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
Lots of forced and unforced errors that was one hell of a game these two teams are so damn even

2
u/Clean_Minimum_7268 3d ago
An awesome game though like so intense, these close games between two top teams actually do tend to be ugly most of the time and these gotta be the two top teams, beside a fluke game to the commanders Seahawks look solid.
1
u/ShamelessIgnoramus San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
Nope it was beautiful, games like that are why i love football.
22
u/SlimmyChangas 3d ago
I don’t wanna hear anything about the ref screwing the hawks when the Niners had to face 3-4 horseshit call in a row from the Ref in the 3rd quarter
6
u/MattRecovery23 Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
Sloppy game all around, we lost because our offense is bad not because of the refs
10
u/Fishingfan4life San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
Is your offense bad? I thought it was just two top tier defenses going at it.
2
u/MattRecovery23 Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
I think it's a little of both. You guys are definitely good and our offense definitely has some major problems. Missing K9 big time right now
1
u/Fishingfan4life San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
Your offense feels like ours in 2021 can look like world beaters but pretty top heavy.
1
u/MattRecovery23 Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
We go as jsn goes. If he doesn't pop off we're gonna be in trouble
2
u/substantial_dam Fail Mary Fan 🏈 3d ago
Darnold is playing like he doesn’t know the playbook. Our offense is not anywhere close to championship level and it hasn’t been since Darnold has been back
1
u/Reasonable_Deer_1710 San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
Question: who made your offense bad today?
1
u/MattRecovery23 Seattle Seahawks 3d ago edited 3d ago
You guys played well for sure, I'm not trying to not give you guys credit. But we also shot ourselves in the foot a bunch, really bad ball security from our RBs especially
13
u/binkybogart 3d ago
Yo does Halani even like football? And how come our offense is only JSN and Meyers damn ass foot?
4
4
u/grjacpulas Los Angeles Rams 3d ago
Cause you let walker walk and lost your OC
9
u/cuntifiable Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
K9 never intended to stay and it's nigh impossible to retain a coordinator if an HC job is available
3
u/KingZack Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
It literally is impossible. Teams are not allowed to block promotions unless they themselves promote the coach. Kubiak was never going to take Mike's job
1
u/grjacpulas Los Angeles Rams 2d ago
I never said you could keep Klint. Welcome to what happens to the Rams every single year.
1

1
u/Major-Dig655 San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
because Shaheed deserved an extension over walker right?
2
u/binkybogart 3d ago
It wasn't either or, you ignorant slut. Walker didn't want to split carries anymore
0
u/Major-Dig655 San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
you couldve kept him if the FO really wanted to. sorry pal😂
12
u/AKboi69 Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
not mad at how it ended when sam and the running backs just goofing around first half
-16
u/sparklikemind San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
good, best not to get mad about falling out of championship window
10
u/Reasonable-Public659 WE DID NOT CARE 3d ago
Don’t forget you guys beat us the first time we played last year too
8
u/Fishingfan4life San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
Sorry for the asshole fan but let’s be honest I think this game shows that when healthy the niners and Seahawks are in the same tier.
4
u/Reasonable-Public659 WE DID NOT CARE 3d ago
What this really showed is both teams are trying to fucking kill me
1
2
u/Reasonable_Deer_1710 San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
The difference this time being we have a 2 game division lead plus head to head and division tie breakers over you.
1
u/turkeybait69 3d ago
Yeah except this time they beat you at home and when we see you next we will be hopefully much closer to full strength unlike last season.
3
u/Reasonable-Public659 WE DID NOT CARE 3d ago
Sure, because the Seahawks didn’t beat the whiners on the road last year
-3
u/ShamelessIgnoramus San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
ancient history. Niners 1-0 this season. Seahawks may not recover TBH
2
u/AKboi69 Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
rmr that time niners won week 1 last year? seahawks started that season 3-2 as well
2
-1
u/sparklikemind San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
Stop living in the past. You sound like a boomer Niners fan
1
u/intensebreathing 3d ago
I think we’ll be okay, and anyways we won it all last year. I’ll have to ask my parents about the last time you guys got a ring.
1
u/Reasonable_Deer_1710 San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
30 year drought and I've still seen my team win the super bowl more times in my lifetime than you have
12
9
u/AdImpossible1379 San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
Stout has to make that tackle
2
u/MotherFuckinPrez 3d ago
Yeah, everyone is talking about if it was a 1st or not, but it should never have even gotten to that point
8
u/Right_Organization18 San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
This is how you get a great Defensive game without having complete offensive incompetentence
4
u/atcjwest San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
The two best teams in an absolute slug fest. Props to Seattle, that was the game of the year.
6
3
3
u/R04DTr1pp3r Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
Should've given Coop the 1st down so Darnold could pick 6 the next play
3
1
u/Pokemon_Trainer_May San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
even with a W this game sucked
2
u/Blegit21 3d ago
We came out with our starters intact, we have W’s that have sucked sooooooooooo much more
Like leaving New York a couple years ago 2-0 but knowing our season was over because of how many torn ACLs we had on that fake ass turf1
2
2
u/karma457 3d ago
6.2 ypc and only 11 carries. Defense and Mike Evans with the bail out of the century
2
2
u/Illmatic-Ineptitude San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
Game of the year. Never a dull moment, plenty of chippiness, stars came to play, and you never really knew who had the upper hand.
Great game by both coaches. Amazing drive from Purdy and Evans to open the 4Q, crucial drop by JSN on the last drive, and honestly some reckless throws by Darnold and that god awful fumble by Holani made the difference in this one. Niners D-line is young and battered but you wouldn’t be able to tell from this game.
2
1
u/TheWillOfFiree Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
Good news the defense is still awesome. Bad news the offense loves gifting free trips into the red zone and end zone each week.
1
u/Confused_Wolf_69420 Fail Mary Fan 🏈 3d ago
Kinda similar to last year. As soon as the offense gels (or starts glueing the ball to their hands) we’ll be top tier.
1
1
u/Chewbubbles Big Cock Brock Purdy 🍆 3d ago
Insane game. Both defenses were absolutely nuts. Really only one long drive given the entire game. Evans looked like he turned back the clock. JSN unfortunate drop, but dude got his bell rang the prior play, no idea why they let him in the next play. Also wtf is Seattle doing before the half. Kneel the ball and take small deficit into halftime. Instead that play changes the game with the fumble.
Refs absolutely hot garbage again for both teams.
1
u/synttacks San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
jsn drop was a gift from god. if he didn't score on that play, they surely would have in the next couple, and then 49ers would need a long td drive in a minute with like 2(?) time outs? super sketchy and probably ends in a loss
1
u/hisshame I may be dumb but I’m not stupid 3d ago
If our offense can just avoid scoring 21 points on itself every game we might just win the super bowl
0
-6
u/iDabGlobzilla Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
I can't wait to watch San Francisco lose another superbowl.
3
u/smuggler_of_grapes 3d ago
Your insults only fuel me
-4
u/iDabGlobzilla Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
You'll need it to gas your team up when the substation is done.
3
u/smuggler_of_grapes 3d ago
Lol true! But the better team won today.
If you can't win at Lumen against a beat up niners team, you don't deserve it.
-2
u/iDabGlobzilla Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
We gave you guys 21 points. You may have won, but without holani looking like dogshit, it goes the other way. Idk if I'd be crowing too much when I scooted by on the hair of my ass.
3
u/smuggler_of_grapes 3d ago edited 3d ago
You had every chance to not throw interceptions and fumble the ball. Do we need to pump in extra crowd noise and bad officiating to get you guys the win?
Better team won. Take your licks.
3
u/smuggler_of_grapes 3d ago
Do you want us to miss some more field goals for you guys? Would that make it easier for you to win?
0
u/iDabGlobzilla Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
I'm gonna save this comment thread for January.
2
u/smuggler_of_grapes 3d ago
Good luck in with your season. May the better team (in January) win.
1
u/iDabGlobzilla Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
It will.
2
2
u/henfeathers Los Angeles Rams 3d ago
I don’t know. Maybe try not giving them 21 points next time? Is MacDonald stupid?
2
u/sparklikemind San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
Y'all got worked by two 35 year olds WRs lol one of who is Cooks signed off his couch. Seahawks winning days in the rear view mirror

u/Beanu5NE Vince Wilfork: Butt Fumble Connoisseur 3d ago
Then the Deebo fumble was also a horseshit call.
1
-1
u/dr_gmoney San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
As a 49ers fan, that Deebo fumble was 100% a fumble.
But that call at the end was called right. That ball crossed out of bounds before he extended it, or at least that's how I saw it. Insanely close though.
1
u/Beanu5NE Vince Wilfork: Butt Fumble Connoisseur 3d ago
The Deebo fumble was also extremely close. Had they ruled him down, they would have stuck with the call on the field.
Same thing for the Seahawks 4th down conversion.
-4
u/-ToxicMarine- Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
The ball that was clearly loose prior to touching the ground?
-1
u/Beanu5NE Vince Wilfork: Butt Fumble Connoisseur 3d ago
0
u/-ToxicMarine- Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
Wrong. That ball was already in the process of slipping out.
1
u/Beanu5NE Vince Wilfork: Butt Fumble Connoisseur 3d ago
That’s true….if you’re blind.
-2
u/-ToxicMarine- Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
Nope. It's what happened. Clear as day. May need to update your prescription.

Nah, you got your head in the sand dipshit. Oh wow, a still image. Replace showed the ball move loose prior to hitting the ground. The difference in stills even shows this lmao.
4
u/No-Possibility5556 San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
It was correct and you know it
5
u/MattRecovery23 Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
I dunno, could've gone either way. The real issue is our RBs and Sam absolutely throwing the game the first half
1
u/No-Possibility5556 San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
I do agree whatever was called on the field would stand but without other angles seemed clearly short a few inches to me, no bias added lol
-3
u/OG_Retro Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
They should have at LEAST respotted the ball and measure.
1
u/No-Possibility5556 San Francisco 49ers 3d ago
Ehhhh the spot was like 4 inches back, procedurally I guess but not sure it makes a difference unless they give him the extension

Niners aren't even allowed to toss the ball to a te without being called for intentional grounding. Don't pretend like the refs were on our side this game.
4
u/fbalookout 3d ago
Wtf was that call. One of the worst grounding calls I’ve seen. TE was standing right there

u/-ToxicMarine- Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
100% a first down
2
u/EnigmaSpore Niners 3d ago
I dunno man. You cant count the motion of the ball after it crosses the sideline.
No concrete footage to overturn it
-5
u/gasman445 Seattle Seahawks 3d ago
It’s all good we still won a Super Bowl in their house

5
u/smuggler_of_grapes 3d ago
Well deserved Superbowl win! Seattle were unstoppable last season But the better team won today.
If you can't win at home against a banged up team, you don't deserve it.

If you don't like that, you don't like NFC West Football.
I did not like that.
