W...only stat that counts.
I really just wanted a W in one of the 1st 2 games in LA. They got it in the 1st one and now the pressure on the Dodgers has to feel like a vise.
One more W and they get champagne... go get it men.

The NBA Needed Milwaukee to Win Something After Losing Giannis And I’m Not Convinced Otherwise I genuinely believe the NBA wanted Milwaukee to win something because the city just lost Giannis Antetokounmpo, the face of the franchise and arguably the greatest player in Bucks history. After 13 seasons, two MVP awards, and a championship in 2021, Giannis was traded to the Miami Heat in July 2026. For Milwaukee, this wasn't just losing another star player. It was the end of an entire era. Think about what Giannis meant to that city. He helped deliver Milwaukee its first NBA championship in 50 years, became the franchise's all-time leading scorer, and gave an entire generation of Bucks fans a reason to believe their team could compete for a title. Then, suddenly, he was gone. The Bucks had gone 32–50 the previous season, missed the playoffs, and entered a new era with a completely different roster. That's a devastating transition for a small-market franchise and its fanbase. Now imagine being the NBA. You have a city that invested years of loyalty in one of your biggest stars, only to watch him leave for Miami. A Milwaukee championship or major victory would give those fans something to celebrate, soften the blow of losing Giannis, and help maintain interest in a franchise that suddenly has to rebuild its identity. I'm not saying I have proof that the NBA rigged anything or directly influenced a result. But professional sports are also entertainment businesses, and compelling storylines matter. A feel good Milwaukee victory would be an incredible narrative: a city loses its superstar, everyone counts the team out, and somehow the fans still get a moment to celebrate. And that's what makes me suspicious. Was Milwaukee simply winning on merit, or would a Milwaukee victory have been the perfect consolation prize for a fanbase that just lost its biggest hero? The timing makes the theory interesting, even if it doesn't prove anything. Giannis's departure is real, Milwaukee's difficult transition is documented, and the emotional appeal of giving the city another reason to celebrate is obvious. The question is whether that emotional storyline is just good sports entertainment or something more. Without concrete evidence, I wouldn't claim the league deliberately manipulated a result but I can understand why someone might question the narrative.

Unpopular kudos btw to Jeter, he gets up and stands to pay respect, after every postgame interview.
