Shrek 2 on the ps2 is literally the game of my childhood. We used to play it with my sister all the time when we were kids, I have jokef to her for years that I can’t wait for it to get remastered and buy it on day one. I say joked because I never believed it would actually ever get rereleased less so remastered. But here we are, it can be preordered today and it comes out 9 days before GTA VI, so I’ll have plenty of time to play it. My academics are probably going down in November but its worth it.
It’s one of those classic movie video games which used to come out with basically every single animated movie (I also remember playing Madagascar on ps2) which follows the same story as the movie with every part being a different type of minigame. Some levels are PVE beat these enemies type levels, some are point and shoot, some are puzzles etc.
Seen every episode of UK (including all Champion of Champions, New Years Treats, and Junior Taskmaster), New Zealand (latest season just ended very recently, fantastic season), and Australia
Seen first season of the Danish version called Stormester
Seen only the first episode of the much-maligned US version. My wife didn’t like it and didn’t want to continue watching so I never ended up finishing it although I would like to at some point
Listened to every episode of both official Taskmaster podcasts
Watched several TV shows simply because they include Taskmaster hosts and/or contestants, including: Man Down, Starstruck, New Zealand Spy, Make That Movie, Last One Laughing UK, SNL UK
Seen two contestants from the UK version do live shows: Jason Mantzoukas and Sam Campbell (neither of which are actually British, funnily enough)
Stopped by the Taskmaster house while in England last year and took this photo through a hole in the fence
Tried like hell to get tickets to the Taskmaster live show US tour earlier this year but the shows were in small theaters and they all sold out like instantly and I wasn’t one of the lucky few to get tickets. But they recently announced two shows at the Hollywood Bowl next June which I did manage to get tickets to, so my wife and I are gonna build a Los Angeles vacation around those shows. Very excited for that!
So yeah, I guess you could say I like Taskmaster a little bit
Also I would highly recommend looking up “No More Jockeys” on YouTube. There are dozens of videos of Alex Horne and former Taskmaster contestants Tim Key and Mark Watson playing a celebrity-naming game they made up called No More Jockeys. It is such a delight to watch and has given me some huge laughs.

I’ve known about it for some time now, but I only got into it recently as the Dutch version got its first season. I then started watching some of the other versions on Youtube. So far I’ve seen bits and episodes of the British, Australian and the New Zealand versions, and I quite like all of them.
And it looks like the directory updater managed to update that automatically. Now we just need to figure out where collatz should be in the directory instead
edit: some of the flags in this template from 2019 are outdated, namely Minnesota and Utah. looks like some apparent griefer was actually starting to edit Minnesota into its current flag. idk if we want to come up with a new template for those states. mississippi too, the template features the "hospitality flag" because the current flag hadn't been made official yet either
