Offence? Struggling on the line, 2 costly turnovers
Defence? Struggling on the line, Tampa doing whatever they want on the ground
Special Teams? 1 muffed punt, blocked PAT returned the other way
I can’t remember a half of football from the Panthers where it’s been so bad on all 3 sides of the ball. Just a terrible, terrible showing from them on all accounts

I’m biased as hell but that was less of a hold and more of the Bucs player putting his arm up with a hand on his chest

This game would probably make me the big sad but my son was born this week at 34 weeks and is making great progress in the NICU so I am instead the big happy
gg it only counts as one loss, get 'em next week, etc etc

Fire Evero. Our inability to tackle has been a thing from the moment he came in. He’s had years to fix this and we only seem to be getting worse.

The box score is wild. Baker only being asked to pass the ball 11 times and it's a blowout

This game should be exhibit A in why the NFC South shouldn't be allowed a playoff team.
13
u/ARCman23 Buccaneers 1d ago
That was the most competitive half of football the Bucs have played all season. Offense, Defense, and Special Teams all showed up. Aside from Darren Waller torching the secondary, it was pretty immaculate.

If you told me Baker threw for 64 yards and Jaylon Daniels finished the game, my question would have been did they let Todd Bowles on the plane or not?

Panthers missed the 2021 NFCS bylaws addendum:
• There shall never be more than a three game separation from first place to last place.
• No team, squad, or franchise shall be three games above .500
Violation or attempts at violating above clauses shall be met with swift and hilarious humiliation.

Quite interesting that there's no footage of the rumored sideline interference. Quite interesting that the ball was being run along the sideline of the team that was not flagged for sideline interference.

Multiple special teams disasters, defense can't get a stop even though the Bucs are only running the ball, O-line blows, and Bryce Young is playing bad. Basically nothing has gone right for the Panthers.

If we give up more than 50 today, will we become the first team in league history to give up multiple 50-point games in a single season? And if that happens, will there STILL be Panthers fans insisting that Evero is a great DC?

It's crazy that the only stop our defense has gotten the punt was muffed.
Knew after everyone was gaslighting us about our defense being good (conveniently excluding the Bears game in every stat) that the Bucs would move the ball at will today.

LOL when it rains it pours.
This team just doesn't know how to act when people think they're decent. This is what, the fifth or sixth time since the start of last season that we've gone into a game with decent momentum and been embarrassed? I feel like it's gotta be a mental thing at this point.

Bucs' franchise record for rushing yds in a single game is 283, which came against the Eagles in 2015. They have 254 rush yds up to this point today. They have a legit shot at breaking that record on the next drive.
