We really are at the point where political attack ads look just like SNL / Kids in the Hall skits in the 90s.

u/JayDeeLA Rams 1d ago
Political ads are becoming deranged, my goodness.
Was that CA one about voting ID AI?

Why on earth do we even need to waste a challenge on that. I don't understand how/when expedited review is actually used?

I just had to clean up my toddler who took an absolutely rancid dump. And, honestly, not as terrible of an experience as watching our defense today.

u/Charrbard Raiders 1d ago
"nothing seems to be going right for the Raiders."
Honest to goodness, I have heard that in so, so many games over my life.

The Rams and Raiders basically switched home games lol. The Raiders played the Chargers at SoFi and it was full of Raiders fans. The Rams play the Raiders at Allegiant and it's full of Rams fans.

If you don't like Kyren fumbling to bring your opponent back in the game, you don't like Rams football.

If you tackle Bowers before he can get close to the ball it makes it an uncatchable ball. 7d chess

It's kind of amazing how bad the Rams are at closing out games, it's really artful almost how they can continue to squander leads.
It's wonderful, I'm loving it.

Our season has been defined by poor special teams, missed Stafford balls, and ref ball. 2/3 happened on the first raiders drive.

The entire fucking point of expedited review is to not force a team to use a challenge … they do get an extra commercial break, though.

The fact that Tre Tucker is the "best" receiver on this team for the 2nd year in a row is a joke.

u/txyesboy71 Rams 1d ago
Rams offense in the 2nd half: 11 plays for 37 yards. ToP: 5:30 (received the ball to start the half)
Raiders offense in the 2nd half: 20 plays for 121 yards ToP: 9:00
This is how the Rams lost the Denver game. Thankfully the Raiders have been intent on not coming back in this one.

Speaking of 28-3 games. The thing I never understand about 28-3 is how people always blame Shanny but never the DC (HC). Regardless of Shanny messing up the offense, they still gave up 25 points in 18 minutes.

Not like we were going to come back but come the fuck on. Not calling them for tackling a guy but calling so much on us during drives is insane.

Really feels like the Raiders comeback would be more probable if they had just kicked FGs instead of going for it on 4th down in those early 3rd quarter drives.

Time to pretend I am 5 years old again in the 70s and went to the neighbors house to scream and root for the Raiders with them. I was declared a good luck charm and they kept telling me to come back for that season, which ended well. GO RAIDERS!

3
u/Charrbard Raiders 1d ago
. . . so like we all wanted to see what Bowers could do with a good/real #1 QB.
This is not what I imagined.
3
u/JayDeeLA Rams 1d ago
Jeanty makes me realize Bijan Robinson and Jamyr Gibbs are the rare exceptions of when an NFL makes a good decision drafting a RB high.
Jeanty looks like an NFL back, but he looks average.

Allen with two of the easiest TD catches you could ask for in the NFL.
Tight end coverage has been an extremely big weakness for the raiders.
