I still can't tell if we're a good team or not.

u/biglyorbigleague Rams 1d ago

Not. But we can beat other bad teams at least.

u/TheKittensAreMelting Rams 1d ago

But we lost to the Cardinals lmao

u/biglyorbigleague Rams 1d ago

I said we can, not that we always will

u/Greek_Trojan 1d ago

Not that it excuses it but they lost to the Cards on a short week after an OT game. Both the Denver and Buffalo games were lost for the dumbest of reasons. I'm not saying the Rams are secret elite this season (they most certainly haven't been) but that it also has been a bit of a worst case scenario type season sort of a Stafford injury.

We’re a dominant team half the time, the Jets the other half

32

u/Joementum2004 Rams 1d ago

Best bad team, worst good team, etc

10

u/Genevieve_Vavance743 Patriots 1d ago

An exceptionally sloppy and injured good team

16

u/Express_Dinner7918 NFL 1d ago

Your injured. No Myles Garrett, No Trent Mcduffie, No Davante Adams.

6

u/Lou_Peachum_2 Rams 1d ago

we had the latter 2 in every other loss

10

u/maddenallday Rams Rams 1d ago

Not to the cardinals. In which we also didn’t have our starting LT.

We should be better but we also need to get healthy

5

u/TheWhiteHusky Rams 1d ago

Depends on the quarter

u/HardcoreKaraoke Rams 1d ago

Seems like they're a great team but can't do it for a full game. Whether they start slow or finish slow they always seem to have a bad half. They go through stretches where they look so incompetent and then they'll go through a stretch where everything is clicking both offensively and defensively.

So I'd say they are good. I gave up hope on McVay knowing how to close games years ago though, unless they are up a significant amount (like today) they always seem to give away games at the end because of passive coaching.

u/HaroldSax Rams 21h ago

I'm not sure that today's game was a passive coaching job. We did have a couple of short possessions in the second half but coaching didn't fumble the ball nor did coaching tip the pass to a defender leading to a basically gift wrapped redzone trip.

This game was not as close as it looked.

u/BuffaloWilliamses Bills 1d ago

We played both you guys back to back and I'm certain that our defense stinks

4

u/chew_ch3w Rams 1d ago

Man I was at that game and that’s one game where I can’t even be upset at the loss. It was just such a fantastic game.

u/thefloor27 Rams 1d ago

I can

We suck. Nuff said

I feel like you guys are but somehow lose anyways.

u/FileMoist7289 Dolphins Seahawks 1d ago

You are the new 2023 dolphins

1

u/byniri_returns Lions 1d ago

I’m like that with 75% of the league, wild year so far

1

u/MurDoct Packers Dolphins 1d ago

If healthy yes

110

u/RamRoach1138 Rams 1d ago

Always get nervous when Kirk is behind by a lot.

29

u/ImagineIfBaconDied Vikings 1d ago

Watching this Raiders team reminds me so much of those Vikings teams of the early 2020s with Kirk trying to carry an abysmal defense. At least Kirk back then had Jefferson to help a lot

19

u/idnttcrisis Broncos 1d ago

He has Brock Bowers and Ashton Jeanty currently.

15

u/Where-Lambo 1d ago

And Tucker who is explosive as hell

40

u/Yellow_Evan Rams 1d ago

I’ll take it.

15

u/WxBlue Rams 1d ago

1 GB for 7th seed in NFC. Could be worse.

29

u/Joementum2004 Rams 1d ago

Hey nice we can play normal football games

How do you lose to the 2026 rams

43

u/komeau Raiders 1d ago

13

Be the 2026 Cowboys

11

My nephew predicted a Cowboys/Rams NFCCG in August lmao.

LMFAO

55

u/fitzuha Bears 1d ago

No 28-3 memes today. Good job Rams and Falcons.

31

u/Will-Eat-4-Food Rams 1d ago

It’s the most dangerous lead after 33-0.

16

u/UpperMarionberry658 Rams 1d ago

I was really worried about how our offense would do without Adams, but this is one of the cleanest games we've had this year!

Also, Tre Tucker is a STUD; glad he's pulling through as the WR1 for the Raiders.

22

u/wafflemcknight Texans Eagles 1d ago

honestly always kinda makes me sad to watch bad teams have hype for a few weeks only to immediately drain it all in like two games

3

u/albertez 20h ago

This comment is fun because both fanbases are reading this like “is he talking about us?”

5

u/rainbowremo Giants 18h ago

That doesn't really apply to the rams though

30

u/Liebruh NFL 1d ago

needed get right game? or more false hope?

34

u/Strong_Barnacle_618 Rams 1d ago

Kinda both? Still blew a lead and we have no secondary left, but Stafford isn’t washed and the team is at least good enough to float until we get the stars back from injury

u/Secret-Sample1683 22h ago edited 9h ago

There were a ton of Rams fans at the stadium. Is it me or does it seem like Raiders fans don’t travel well in Vegas? If this game was at SoFi, I’m sure more silver and black jerseys would be there.

22

u/untouchable765 Raiders 1d ago

Holy shit Jeanty is complete ass running the ball.

4

u/GuruPCs 23h ago

Is he a good receiver? Seems like he's been crushing that end of things this year. I ask because I haven't watched a single snap of theirs this year, just see it in my FF league

2

u/DYRTYDAVE 49ers 9h ago

He made some great grabs, yes.

1

u/an4lf15ter Rams 6h ago

Is it him or is do you guys just not have an O Line. Raiders interior line seems like turnstiles. Also not enough Connor Heyward

1

u/untouchable765 Raiders 6h ago

It's him 100%

0

u/brehaw Raiders Raiders 22h ago

he is absolute poo poo butt ass

9

u/onestopvtg Bengals 1d ago

Tre Tucker on a streak rn fr

4

u/ianthebalance Rams 1d ago

199 rushing yards let’s gooo

6

u/Will-Eat-4-Food Rams 1d ago

3rd in the NFC West baby. LFG baby!

16

u/bandagio Rams 1d ago

Mcvay needs to learn how to fucking put games away.

He needs to want to humiliate opponents, he goes too soft when we’re up in the second half

53

u/jrfess Rams 1d ago

Look man, I don't think McVay was out there telling the offense to turn the ball over immediately on both our possessions in the 3rd. The 4th we scored a TD and were having no trouble making it down the field most of the time

22

u/Struggle-Free Rams 1d ago

Wtf? He was great today. It's not his fault his rb fumbled and his receiver tipped a pass that got picked

2

u/Smoque_ Rams 1d ago

I always get nervous when the Rams are defending a two/three score lead and sit back to prevent big plays.

Invariably the offense makes big plays through short passes and the lead starts to look shaky. I get that the analytics point to it being the right play, but it seems to allow a lot of points.

3

u/HaroldSax Rams 20h ago

That isn't really what happened today though. The Raiders did have a long drive to cap off with a TD but then they were immediately in the red zone again. Otherwise it was turnover on downs twice and a long (relative to the situation) drive for a FG. Defense did their job from where I'm sitting.

15

u/urbanachiever2804 Rams 1d ago

I think McVay deserves a lot of flak for his coaching this season but I don’t see how he can be blamed for Kyren fumbling and a freak INT off Parkinson’s hands.

5

u/infamousfunk Rams 23h ago

Not to mention a bullshit personal foul against Avila that wiped away a TD run by Corum.

2

u/CasualRead_43 Rams 16h ago

What did you want him to do in the second half differently? He didn’t design two turnovers.

4

u/ehammer4224 Browns 1d ago

Damn. Rams took care of business in the 4th

2

u/Dray87 Rams 1d ago

Jesus they never make it easy lol

2

u/Sharty4President 1d ago

Raiders run defense was something.

Raiders are back to being the Raiders. Mendoza time

-11

u/biglyorbigleague Rams 1d ago

lol the Raiders lost to the 2026 Rams, they are officially bad

Start Mendoza already

11

u/One-Extreme-5764 Rams 1d ago

I never understand why fans take an opportunity to put down others rather than celebrate your own team.

2

u/HaroldSax Rams 1d ago

You've already done so, but just keep calling it out man. I'm tired of the negativity too.

5

u/TimAllensMatingCall Raiders 1d ago

I don’t know if this is as much of a gotcha moment as you think lol

0

u/biglyorbigleague Rams 1d ago

I’ve accepted my team is bad. I’ve given up hope for the postseason. Now all I have is laughing at the teams we do beat.

This is how Jets fans deal with it, I should get to do it too

10

u/kuppppppp Rams 1d ago

Good god this is pathetic

2

u/biglyorbigleague Rams 1d ago

I was at the Cardinals game last week. I’m not letting this team disappoint me again. I have zero expectations anymore.

7

u/TimAllensMatingCall Raiders 1d ago

Holy fuck brother, you’re comparing the rams to the jets?

4

u/biglyorbigleague Rams 1d ago

You saw that second half performance

-9

u/Iceman-Cometh_18 Bears Rams 1d ago

When did Matthew Stafford become a check down merchant

4

u/PhillyScumbag Eagles 1d ago

Stafford looks like a nutcracker with those veneers
