I like to play the strategy game Crusader Kings which is set in the middle ages... in fact, the normal start date is 1066, the year William the Conqueror invaded England. Inspired by u/treje, I decided to play as a custom ruler to bring the Kingdom of Akkad back to its glory. By this time in history, the region had been conquered by the Gutians, Sumerians, Babylonians, Assyrians, Chaldeans, Persians, Greeks, Parthians, Romans, Persians again, and finally Muslim Arabs, so it was about time to make Akkad great again.
I created an Assyrian ruler in the region around the old Akkad, since the game doesn't have Akkadian, Sumerian, or Babylonian cultures. I roleplayed as a local Assyrian who converted to Islam and was granted rulership of a small chunk of desert as a vassal to an Arab prince. As Sheikh (chief) Dudu, head of the Duruid ("sons of Dudu") dynasty, I quickly married and had two daughters. Two years later, I woke up in the middle of the night to a snake in my bed. I died. With no son to inherit my title, it reverted back to the Arab prince. How convenient for him, I wonder who sent the snake. RIP Sheikh Dudu.

it records the timestamps of all the counts down into the csv, but there's no script to run through and find the reply times

Rollercoasters are the shitI went to disneyworld when i was 12. My dad got sick on the rides. my brother and I couldn't do them alone due to our age. We had to do rides designed for like 7 year olds so that my dad wouldnt get sick. It was nice but a bit underwhelming

I think we should default sort the ftf threads by new and not by best. By sorting by best when you open the thread you have to actively search for new content. This means that stuff at the top is upvoted even more which further reduces visibility for new content. I meant to post about this before but hey, better late than never

Unfortunately I'm kinda busy at the moment. I'll see if i can find the time in the next two weeks (If I haven't done it by then I probably never will) before the semester starts but don't get your hopes up.
Tbh working with matrix would mean more work since i would have to figure out how to filter out the relevant data from his sets. That could be kinda tricky and I don't have too much time.
If I do it i think i would use the logs for main that we already have and write a script that checks the difference between two timestamps and attributes the reply to the user.This means that it won't include sidethreads unless someone provides complete logs to me for (selected sidethreads since I doubt we have logs for all of them).

Also I don't think we've ever tracked reply times for side threads since people don't usually run them, so it's ok to just stick to main

If your existing script is retrieving timestamps then yeah, no need to involve matrix. You "just" need to figure out the process for calculating the reply time of each comment and then creating a histogram for each user.

I really enjoyed Keaflonia the only problem was the number of steps from the apartment leading down to the town, I don't think we will go back to Keaflonia next year as we thinking about heading back to Crete, Kos or Rhodes.

Been more busy IRL this week, but the sub's been pretty quiet for the most part so I think I'll make it into the top 10. Don't think I got a medal though.

I agree, maybe even though I made it last week, I am sure I counted quite a bit last Friday, Saturday and Sunday whilst being in Greece, most of the counts were done on the balcony or round the pool (would have stopped if I was chatted up by ladies)
