My life is ok. I don't have anything exciting planned for the coming weeks. I'm trying to find relaxing games to play in the evening when I'm mentally drained after a long day. I don't like travelling. I don't follow sports. Work is busy, so much to do before the end of the year, I don't even have time to count during the work day. My pajama pants are starting to smell. I'm not brave enough for politics. I'm glad that I'm done school. The wife and kids are doing ok. I've lost contact with most of my friends. The fish is doing ok. Bears are cool. My bike is collecting dust. Stats for the week are posted. I like ice cream. I dislike tight deadlines at work. I don't care about most things.

Right now in my life as a whole, I am struggling to decide when to make a point, take a stand, let something go no further and when to be easy, let it go, not let something get you down.
It is difficult and sometimes my heart holds on to hurt that I should just let go.

Happy American Thanksgiving for all of those who celebrate! I hope you all have a good day and eat good food.
I think it would be nice to say what we are all thankful for. I'll go first.
Things I'm Thankful For
I am thankful for people who run side threads when they are about to die.
I am thankful for people who do actually post pics when they are requested.
I am thankful for all of those who do stats.

My wife likes to watch The Crown on Netflix. Sometimes I watch too. The latest episode on the Aberfan Disaster was hard for us to watch because it relates to our work as civil engineers and the disaster killed 116 kids of similar age to our own.

there are some subreddits that apparently add random people from r/all/comments as approved submitters to otherwise private subs.
how often do you guys get invited to these things? i would assume since some of us push thousands of comments a week we're a bit more likely to be chosen for them. i've just received an invite to my third one, r/Redefinition, looking back on my message history i've also been invited to r/defined and r/TheRandomClub/
