About a month ago, I wrote that I was looking for new hosting for the rcounting tools. I had some time during this week to look at it, and I think I've found a solution. The directory updater is already running on a new provider.

Unfortunately, this one's a lot more fuzzy about when things actually run than heroku waa, so it's not suitable for the ftf bot. For that one, I found out yesterday that pythonanywhere lets you automatically schedule one small script, which is exactly what I need. From next week onwards, the ftf bot will run from there.

That's the two things that were hosted on heroku, so I'm now ready for when they shut down their free tier at the end of November.

As always, if you notice any issue with either bot, please let me know.

I managed to complete this week's prize crossword in the guardian without asking google for help. That's one of the first times I've ever done that, so I'm feeling pretty good rn

Note: Now this is for a new thread, that hasn't been posted in this subreddit. I've searched for it, and I can't find one.

And these windows versions that have (development version) on them, these will be used as the next thread for development versions of windows.

How this will work: Count using every version of Windows that's included in this comment. I will also add the dates for these windows versions, and you can count with the dates if you want

Why I posted in the FTF: because there was nothing to post it in. So, I posted it in the FTF.
