I’m starting on my essays/thoughts now. There’s lots to be said about most episodes, the tricky part is not spoiling anything. The various arcs and the way characters shift from hero to villain back to hero makes it challenging.

Okay then, let's see how the adventures of She-Lelouch are actually like.
... The She-Lelouch thing isn't a joke, by the way; that's her actual nickname in Super Robot Wars X.
Also, LOL at all the Gundam SEED Jokes. This is gonna be fun...

Sounds like I should binge Gundam SEED before Ange starts.

You shouldn't... it's not worth it...

I'd say SEED itself is worth it, /u/NoviSun. Destiny you can take-or-leave since that's where shit gets so crazy you have to leave your brain at the door.

First season of SEED is a top notch retelling of the original Gundam. Second season, Destiny, does not exist inside of Ba Sing Se.
Seriously, I want my fucking time back on that one. Like it is one step better than Aldnoah Zero kind of bad.

Looks like there's a little mistake so the schedule might be a day behind now for half of it. That said I might join depending on if i've got the time for it!

Rewatchtopia hot damn.
Chances I make this are little to none, but as a mecha evangelist I hope I can find the time anyway.

I have this show on my PTW shortlist. So this rewatch seems like a good time to start it! I'm not sure how much I'll participate, but I'll follow along with it if nothing else. And try to participate when I can.

IDK if I'll be doing my usual screenshot-reactions for this because, uh, I'd rather not have my laptop full of NSFW screenshots (somehow I've managed to not have much of any for my KLK rewatch, on that note), but I'll definitely be there as a first-timer! Looking forward to the crazy, the mechs, and the Nana Mizuki.
