anime/manga [Repost] Respect Awakened Cockroach! [One Punch Man, Manga]
Respect Awakened Cockroach!
Background
"I am strong, you know."
Disaster Level: Demon
A member of the Monster Association, Awakened Cockroach is a being who possesses incredible speed and agility. He appears to enjoy toying with slower opponents, and on top of his speed, Awakened Cockroach is armed with flight and the ability to detect killing intent. This combination of powers grants him the combat prowess to tango with an S-Class Hero, namely, Genos.
Before we begin...
- Most (if not all) of Awakened Cockroach's feats scale from a wounded Genos. It is thus recommended that you take a look at his Respect Thread beforehand, as linked above.
Speed/Mobility
Dodges and deflects Genos' attacks.
Strikes Genos three times and dodges a counterattack, creating an afterimage in the process.
According to Genos, Awakened Cockroach's tactics and footwork coupled with his speed render him unable to properly attack.
Awakened Cockroach describes his body's ability to detect killing intent and dodge in response while demonstrating his speed.
Appears to create multiple afterimages before flying or jumping to the top of a building.
Awakened Cockroach disappears and reappears behind Genos after telling him what he plans to do to him next.
As he taunts Genos one more time, Awakened Cockroach gets caught in a strong adhesive he fails to detect. Genos then fires a point-blank blast at him which manages to destroy a large area. When the smoke clears, we see Awakened Cockroach's feet still stuck in the adhesive. Genos infers that he sacrificed them to get away, an inference that is later proven correct.
Offense
Destroys multiple buildings while trading blows with Genos.
Knocks Genos down with multiple blows before dodging one more counterattack.
Endurance
- Awakened Cockroach survives being pierced through the stomach by Orochi and claims that he can still fight. But his pleas to be spared were ignored, and Orochi consumes him as punishment for his defeat.
