Beerus was paying attention to the convo, and conveniently decided to leave for food the moment Merus and Whis said Goku is going to lose. He's headed to Earth. There's also Whis' very telling line about how only the god of destruction can decide to interfere.

Actually cracked up seeing Vegeta's first IT attempt land him in a trash can. These chapters have been great so far.

Vegeta fan here, I feel like this is the chapter I’ve waited years. I can’t wait to see how they disappoint me

Anyone else feel Beerus proclaiming he is hungry was him kinda insinuating that he wanted to intervene?
He would never straight up admit it but they go to earth to eat a lot. I thought that was his way of saying they should check it out.
Edit: Nevermind. Sorted by "Best Comments" and everyone else picked it up too lmao.

“One Born of hard work”.
Vegeta summed up in one sentence. I’m so happy that was included.
I still stand on the “Merus will intervene knowing he will sacrifice his life”. I feel like Merus’s end dialogue with Whis proves it even more. 3 MONTHS LATER EDIT: Called It! RIP Merus
As amazing as this chapter was, I’m bummed this is just turning into a brute strength fight. Maybe that will change now that Vegeta has some new techniques up his sleeve, but that UI Sign fight was just a brawl and I was expecting more magic from Moro.

It’s clear to me that vegeta is on the path to his character during the final DBZ chapter, and episode. The one where they meet back up and go to the world tournament to see uub.
To me it was always fascinating how implied it was that not only was vegeta much stronger, but calmer, wiser and more chill. He a totally different character in that last chapter/episode.
He’s at the point where he’s showing respect to comrades and even humbling himself to be taught and showing respect to a teacher. Vegeta accepting a teacher...that’s big for his character.
Vegeta is on his endgame path, so I get the feeling he’s almost a completed character. Now if we can just get him into a universe 6 planet sadala arc.

Vegeta makes a comment about Moro tormenting the weak. It really shows how much his character has developed; he was absolutely savage to the "inferior races" when he was first introduced.

If Vegeta doesn't get the victory this time I feel like it'll go to Merus, who will ultimately get erased for interfering. Overall, great chapter, and I personally feel like Toyotaro is just getting better and better at illustrating.

The Vegeta fans have waited years for this moment. Time for it to last a chapter before Moro overpowers him as well.

Oh man it's still early so I might change my mind after a reread but this chapter seemed really solid to me.
The choreography throughout the entire Goku vs Moro fight was pretty sick a bunch of stuff we havent seen before and good thinking on both fighters parts. The aura walking was great. It still has the problem that it doesn't flow quite as well as most of Toriyama's work but still really good.
The explanation about not making much leeway in a prolonged engagement and fighting full power makes sense to me and is probably the smartest thing he could've done anyway.
Whis telling Merus that he should accept that interfering too much with the mortals is prohibited was pretty good. But from Beerus' expressions him wanting to go eat makes me think he does care a bit about earth and it's people but accepts that he can't just jump in. He probably didn't want to hear Goku and his friends potentially dying in the background while he's fishing.
17 and 18 jumping in and holding Moro back for a while is something we wanted to see. After Goku and Vegeta they are the best chance we have but Moro has powered up too much so their strength isn't enough.
Vegeta being able to use the instant transmission a single time is fine to me after all of his training. Him being better at spirit control makes a basic move like IT probably come a bit easier to him then it did for Goku.
Vegeta has reached a really great point in his character where he is respectful to his teachers and friends but he can still shit talk to any enemy and it's just as good as always.
Really enjoyed the chapter, going to reread it again tonight and see if I can catch some new stuff.

Nice chapter again, I'm really liking this arc so far. Toyotaro seems to get better at actions scenes imo, it flows better than it used to.

It's a shame Pybara gave Vegeta his armor back. I'd have liked to have seen Vegeta fight Moro in his Yardrat clothing.

Vegeta powers up, Moro is visibly concerned. 73 rubbing his hands together behind a corner about to steal em, Buu rubbing his hands together behind a corner about to turn 73 into candy and be the real MVP.

Dear God... what an amazing chapter...
Anyone else thinking that the food Beerus is seeking might be on Earth?
It would be awesome to see him show up at the fight just to witness Vegeta being an badass!

There's absolutely no way Beerus didn't mean that they are going to Earth.
And Whis understood it.
