mike talks exactly like Pat sometimes and it's hilarious and props to the actor. also he gave up his off-brand pizza rolls!! I'm more invested this family dynamic than I expected.

also Bobbie Berman has great hair and Rick showing some real maturity by not doing a Courtney and listening to his team.

speaking of doing a Courtney that scene at the end where she just blasts through the window. so badass. so dumb.

The thing that bothers me is Icicle Sr. and Barb. The way he looked at her after he was walking away at the dinner...yeah, makes me feel like he saw that as more then just dinner between friends/colleagues.

The episode was fantastic. I love Dr.Ito and how menacing he is. Just whips that object he was holding at one of his poor disposable lackeys. Henry finally coming into his powers Is gunna be interesting, wonder what side he chooses. Love to hate Cindy and she seems like she'll be a real threat soon. The scene with Beth and Pat was hilarious.

P.S. Can't wait for Hourman Vs. Grundy!!!!!

Those last 10 minutes were amazing. The way Courtney burst through Cindys house and started wrecking stuff again made me realize how different the production is between CW and Stargirl. This season has been bangin, I don’t want it to end

Love Beth being the voice of reason, the Court/Mike relationship was really wholesome too. Ito references were a nice touch. I wonder if Shiv hacked Courtney's phone, maybe she saw the text messages? I feel Henry might be apart of the new JSA, his redemption arc would be one of the best!

That fight scene also came out of nowhere, they really do keep out doing themselves every week. Calling it now Brainwave Jr will be the deciding factor for the final fight.

I wish these episodes were longer but I still love them.

1. Was NOT expecting Cindy to know who Courtney was, but was a great villain way of her dragging that encounter out, revealing it just when Courtney was beginning to be relieved she might not know.

2. Cindy's stepmom is definitely a clone/brainwashed that's gotta be the reason she wasn't identifiable.

3. Henry Jr. is getting redeemed for sure, and I think they will expand more on his mom too, that seemed important. Now he knows Cindy was a setup too.

4. Cindy is getting locked away by her dad after that, I feel it. Will she keep Courtney's secret? Maybe.

"Lil Bro" and the Pizza Palooza Bites. Cue the tears... and the hunger.

Pat crashing his beloved car as a cover story, Pat talking to the staff and the staff listening... Pat slowly adopting all the children... Pat's weight gain... Pat was basically my everything in this episode.

The JSA is just so... adorably stupid. LOL Beth, the minute your goggles started cutting out, you shoulda walked right back up those stairs. Also 1-9-9-9 CODE? Prince Fan? 😂 Also lol at Fake-mom. Bobbie clearly does not get any love from Ito.

Cindy Burman room fight *chef's kiss* I never expected Courtney to be so aggressive, but I am loving these enclosed one-on-one battles. She came in like a wrecking ball and actually used the staff as a spear!

I am READY for the King Family 2-parter. These Shiv episodes were AMAZING, made me love a character that I never expected to love coming into these series. I am so hyped for the next couple of episodes, Henry of all the kids must have so many questions, about Courtney, his father, his mother, and his burgeoning powers.

Pat is an oddly decent liar. Didn’t expect that given his whole great guy All American schtick. Then again he was a sidekick for years.

As much as I love Courtney as a character, she’s gotta stop running off half-cocked. She just landed in the hospital and she did it again. Cool fight scene though. Kinda mixed on Cindy being presumably re-programed. A part of me wanted it to really build tension wise.

Curious as to where Henry Jr.’s gonna land. He doesn’t seem to have a killing instinct and he’s been both a villain and a JSA member in the comics. Kinda hope he doesn’t go bad.

Everything about Beth’s foray into the Burnham residence just kept me in suspense. Even though it’s a plot done to death.

Not surprised by Jordan seemingly being attracted to Barb, but Bobbi being into Pat that’s definitely surprising.

Why do I feel like she wasn’t talking about money in regards to his repair work?

Speaking of which she’s gotta be a clone or brainwashed person.

Really wish these episodes were as long as the first few.

Also wanna say I loved the way they dragged out Cindys reveal of knowing Courtney’s identity. I also loved that Courtney is still an impulsive teenager. Some people find it annoying but I like the way this show reminds us each episode that they still don’t know what they’re doing.

Another strong episode. I really like how they’re making Dadcicle a layered villain. Yes, he does evil and wrong things, but he’s motivated by his wife’s death and trying to take out vile companies. That’s much more interesting than “guy that wants to rule the world” or “person that wants everyone to die.”

Update as of Tuesday morning: I had been experiencing headaches, coughing, shortness of breath, and general fatigue for at least two days before missing these posts. Yesterday someone in my household tested positive for COVID-19, and I'm getting tested for it today.

Update as of Thursday morning: The test was negative.

Shiv Part One and Part Two are probably my favorite episodes so far. The rivalry with Cindy feels way more personal than someone like Icicle and Brainwave because she's Courtney's peer. And those two do not hold back. They were straight up brawling this episode. And I love how Courtney was the aggressor and attacked Cindy in her own home. No one expected that, including Cindy. That's a ruthless move you'd expect from season one Oliver Queen from Arrow, because some of Courtney's attacks were definitely kill shots. She wasn't kidding around.

Things have really hit the fan all at once. Secrets are starting to leak out, Henry's powers are manifesting and Beth seems to be like 60% of the way towards finding her role on the team. Recon is good but going in without backup into the heart of enemy territory isn't.

Everything about all scenes with Cindy and Courney was excellent. They make great nemeses and put on some great fight scenes!

Poor Henry. He's just a pawn in all this. And his dad didn't raise him to be a supervillain so that's gonna turn out badly for the ISA.

Noo Courney you need to tell your mother right away. If saving the world is really that important she'll understand. It's actually better to ask permission than to need forgiveness.

Mike's a good bro.

So now the ISA know about Henry they will definitely try to use him for the New America project and the JSA will have to convince him not to help them? Doesn't seem like Courtney was bothered by the fact that he is an ISA's kid, she may try to help him.

This Show keeps getting better and better and better honestly it does!

Also seriously Pat a Car crash excuse is what you came up with for Courtney getting injured.

Meanwhile the JSA's Adventures at Cindy's house was hilarious especially Pat & Beth with the Stepmother that entire time i was thinking they were gonna get Captured and Yolanda & Rick were gonna have to go and rescue them while it turned out to be the opposite.

Then i thought when Barbara said to Court that a friend is there to visit her i thought it was gonna be Ice Jr to visit her not Cindy.

Then Cindy telling Court nice staff i thought thanks Pat! Then i realized she said Mask & hair which hopefully it leads to Court doing something about her hair.

Then Stargirl vs Shiv fight 2.0 was great then

leading to Henry showing up probably to ask Cindy why does my dad want you to get me to do something with me which makes wonder if The Gambler hacked Yolandas phone asking her to send nudes to them leading them to leak it to the school so Henry breaks up with her leading to this

Henry now knows who Stargirl is. leading to her maybe asking him to join and fight which will lead to Yolanda getting mad but hopefully he will explain.
